Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Jia Yan knew that what he was holding was definitely the star core of an asteroid, because the core of a larger planet wouldn’t be that easy to get. Besides, even if he got one, it was very likely he wouldn’t be able to digest it, so this one right now was just right.

”Huh?”

He had just absorbed a certain amount of the internal energy of the asteroid’s star core when Jia Yan suddenly froze.

Because he felt that inside his body, there was actually the power of the Yin-Yang Dao, and it was crazily devouring these powers.

Moreover, the Yin Yang Tao Power was actually split into two parts, each part absorbing in a very balanced way.

This made Jia Yan slightly startled!

”My body is actually absorbing Star Core Power like this—what does that mean?”

He pondered slightly.

You had to know, the power of the Yin-Yang Dao, for him, was like an absolute specialty of his future.

Other Strong Ones all followed the Universe powerhouse system, or the system of the Divine Spirit Major Domain.

Or perhaps, in the Central Region of the Milky Way, as well as other regions of the Milky Way, there should also be other Strong Ones who follow different systems, but no matter how he thought about it, Jia Yan just couldn’t imagine anyone walking the same Yin-Yang Taoism System as him. Because to create this system required too many unique factors; it was only with an Evolutionary Creature like Jia Yan, plus countless objective factors, and even the existence in the depths of that world in Subspace, that the Yin-Yang Dao had come into being.

So he himself had extremely high expectations for the Yin-Yang Dao, and he also knew that a large part of his future strength would fall upon the Yin-Yang Dao.

”The Yin-Yang Dao is actually splitting into two aspects to devour the star core?”

Jia Yan pondered.

He didn’t know whether this was good or bad, but since it had already happened, he couldn’t just cut off the cultivation of the Yin-Yang Dao.

Thinking back on it, he slowly came to understand why the Yin-Yang Dao suddenly started devouring two types of energy.

”It’s like when I cultivated before—the Yin-Yang Dao was always slower than normal cultivation, and its energy consumption was also greater. Now it’s actually starting to split into two directions of absorption; this should also be related to some characteristic of star core energy. For example, there’s a high chance that within the Star Core Power, there’s also a certain amount of Matter-Antimatter Power.”

Jia Yan analyzed for a while, then felt that his guess was probably correct.

The Yin-Yang Dao continually devoured the Star Core Power. If it had been only a single type of power, Jia Yan could have progressed very quickly; but now that it had been split into two chunks, Jia Yan’s strength improvement slowed down.

Yet the more this happened, the brighter his Compound Eyes shone.

Because in the absorption of the Yin-Yang Dao, he discovered that he might have obtained the most suitable power for the Yin-Yang Dao to absorb!

”Hahaha, in the past I didn’t have the conditions, and never thought about getting any star cores to absorb, because I had no money. But now, the first time I absorb a star core, I actually discover that it fits the needs of My Yin-Yang Path extremely well. When the power of the Yin-Yang Dao absorbs other powers, it all just turns into a chaotic mess, and then I slowly transform it within my body into two kinds of power. That makes my Yin-Yang Dao not pure enough; the two powers of Yin and Yang, that is, the two kinds of Matter-Antimatter Power, become very blurry. But this time, the Star Core Power I’m absorbing is split into two aspects for me right from the start. So now, from the very beginning, the two aspects of Yin and Yang are clearly separated, which makes the counter-force I’m absorbing even more powerful and terrifying!”

Jia Yan’s eyes were full of surprise and delight.

”But... that’s all just talk. The current situation is, if I don’t use this star core to reach the Star River Middle Stage, then the Insect Clan Queen and the others will lower their expectations of me. Should I stop my absorption in two aspects?”

Jia Yan did have a way to solve the absorption problem. As long as he deliberately turned this dual-aspect absorption method back into that former chaotic absorption of power, the power would become unified, pushing his internal power forward in a chaotic way, and the result would be his entering the Star River Middle Stage.

But if he did that, although it would count as progress, if he wanted to use star cores in the future to melt away this segment of chaotic power and then Cultivate it all over again, it would be hellishly hard work; the effort involved could easily be more than ten times what it would cost now.

Of course, doing that would make the Insect Clan Queen and the others think more highly of Jia Yan’s Talent. At least the Insect Clan Queen would place his status higher, since Jia Yan’s current standing had been earned through his own Talent.

So it’s not that Promotion wasn’t a good choice. Maybe because he advanced quickly, the Insect Clan Queen and the others would give him more star cores, and that might greatly reduce the time he needed to reconvert later.

The moment of choice had arrived.

Jia Yan sat in the Grade A palace, carefully weighing everything.

In the end, he suddenly laughed.

Yes, his laughter carried a bit of relief, and also a bit of self-mockery.

”Jia Yan, oh Jia Yan, how long have you even been in this Insect Clan’s Domain? And you’ve already turned into someone wanting to rely on external objects and other people’s help? After I get promoted, I’ll gain the Insect Clan Queen’s attention? That’s not much use, is it. Compared to the Insect Clan Queen, my strength is indeed weak, but before this, in other places, didn’t I fight my way up all by myself? Now that I’ve reached the Peak of Initial Stage of Star River, I’m actually thinking of relying on others—am I living life backwards?”

After mocking himself, Jia Yan suddenly steadied his heart!

That was, he would follow his own optimal cultivation method to carry out his breakthrough plan.
