Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

In fact, earlier Jia Yan considered directly using explosive means, even some ultimate tactics he had thought of, to defeat this Bemond and establish his prestige.

But after thinking while fighting, he realized that wouldn’t work.

Defeating a middle-level presence of the Star River may look impressive here, but Bemond is relatively weak among the middle levels here, defeating him is like opening Pandora’s Box; what if other mid-levels of the Star River come to challenge?

At least till now, Jia Yan hasn’t been overconfident that he could definitely defeat the other mid-levels of the Star River.

Knowing one’s limits is important.

So Jia Yan felt that a combat result where both sides could save face would be the best. A draw, that is.

As for the planet, as previously mentioned, there are quite a few planets around that are not much worse than that one, so why make enemies over it, especially when he wants to continue getting guidance from the Insect Clan Queen here.

The path must be viewed from a long-term perspective, rather than the temporary joy of victory, as that would make the path increasingly narrow.

Previously, Jia Yan would probably have been hot-headed for victory, but now he thinks more comprehensively.

The Insect Clan Queen, observing this scene with her brainwave power, was slightly taken aback.

She initially thought Jia Yan could at most exchange ten moves with this Bemond, blocking ten punches at best.

But unexpectedly, Jia Yan not only blocked ten moves but didn’t lose in the end, drawing against a mid-level presence of the Star River whom she had guided for quite some time.

This showed some spirit; could it be that this guy has really improved so much?

And all that relying on just that intermittent month of guidance?

The Insect Clan Queen’s eyes slightly brightened in her palace.

”Not bad, it feels like he really has some potential now.”

She has been nurturing other strong ones because she wanted a trustworthy and powerful presence to cooperate with when entering the Milky Way Central.

Among so many strong ones, she hadn’t found many worth such anticipation, even the Black Sheep is inferior in many ways.

But now, she has discovered Jia Yan.

Although Jia Yan’s strength is still quite weak, if he can maintain such combat power and progress speed, he is worth some expectation.

”I just want a decent Territory Master to venture with me. Around this starfield, I’ve offended all Territory Masters, and with ordinary Territory Masters, who knows if they will have grievances against me, resulting in falling out at the Milky Way Central where deaths are inevitable. So, I decided to groom these strong ones, all of whom are above the Star River level. There’s a fair chance one of them might become a Domain Master-level. Not to mention, the Black Sheep by my side, he has some chance to reach Domain Master-level, but it’s a pity; even if he does, who knows when it will happen? And even if he does, he’d probably be among the weaker Domain Masters, still vastly different from my strength.”

The Insect Clan Queen previously focused on Jia Yan merely because he indeed had some chance to surpass the Black Sheep, but she only saw a spark of potential then, without many genuine expectations.

Now it’s different; Jia Yan’s real progress within a month and his draw with a mid-level presence of the Star River she guided has heightened her expectations.

Of course, for her to have more expectation for Jia Yan than the Black Sheep is not easy. After all, the latter is already a creature at the peak of the mid-tier level of the galaxy, and reaching Domain Master is just a thought away. Even though Jia Yan has some talent, his strength is still only at the early stage. If he reaches the middle stage, one can expect more, even if he doesn’t become a Domain Master shortly. But a mid-stage Jia Yan, his combat power is worth looking forward to, and it won’t be without impact.

So, the Insect Clan Queen feels it’s a bit of a pity not to have discovered him years ago.

Of course, it’s not too late now; her planned departure is in a year. If Jia Yan can reach the peak of the early stage in this year, and upon reaching the Central Region of the Milky Way, he gets some fortune, he could reach the mid-level of the Star River before any battle outbreak, which isn’t impossible.

She never imagined Jia Yan could ascend to the mid-level of the Star River within a year, because even if his strength has reached the high stage of the initial Star River level, it’s still not the peak. Without reaching the peak, the accumulation is lacking, making it hard to impact the mid-level of the Star River.

Unless he truly possesses a talent akin to the Queen herself, only then is there a slight possibility. After all, she herself rose that quickly in the past.

But achieving the Queen’s level of talent is not generally attainable. As the Queen herself, the Insect Clan Queen deeply understands just how much her talent surpasses ordinary beings, so she doesn’t expect to randomly encounter another being of her caliber.

”This Jia Yan, though I can’t say he can reach my level, his talent is indeed noteworthy and shouldn’t be overlooked. So I’ll provide him with more resources and attention, and see what level he can reach. A year’s time... hehe, if you perform well, maybe there’ll be something to anticipate in the future?”

The Insect Clan Queen wasn’t paying too much attention to Jia Yan’s sudden rise.
