Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

The power of the Insectoid Queen is indeed unfathomable.

Even though Jia Yan has confidence, he still felt a bit shocked upon truly sensing the strength of someone at Domain Master Level.

The gap between them is enormous.

Having confidence in his own future doesn’t mean he can boast now, nor does it mean Jia Yan can offer something more than others.

Just like the geniuses cultivating near this palace, each of them has confidence in themselves, otherwise, they wouldn’t have come here.

”Jia Yan, I know you have strong talents and are confident in yourself. But do you know? Every Galaxy-Level here has confidence in themselves; even those slightly behind now believe in their future. So, in my view, you only have a little more foundation than the average Galaxy-level genius. But compared to them, I don’t think you’re necessarily much better.”

The Insectoid Queen said this to Jia Yan as she flew into the palace, turning her head slightly.

Her head and figure, resembling a female Earth human, had a certain sense of familiarity.

However, the language she used was rather cold in meaning.

”I understand.”

Jia Yan nodded.

After seeing such strong ones, he understood the meaning behind these words.

Every strong one present has a certain amount of confidence in their strength and talent.

”Jia Yan, you must know, the reason I allow you to have an equal status with me now is because my avatar promised you. For strong ones like us, even if the true body can control it well, there will always be some deviation when the distance is long. So the decisions made by her are known to me a bit later, and I cannot alter the words she’s said, do you understand what I mean?”

Jia Yan nodded again.

When he arrived at the palace just now, Jia Yan had already sensed that this Insectoid Queen was somewhat different from her avatar.

Just like Jia Yan’s avatar, there is a part of its personality that is a bit different from his own, which is caused by the lack of complete synchronization between the avatars and the true body.

Jia Yan’s avatar is a bit different from others; he uses his extraordinarily powerful brainwave power to communicate through subspace and quantum entanglement. This method is relatively more real-time, but other strong ones cannot necessarily not use this method, it just requires a lot of energy from the true body, and works less well over long distances.

Jia Yan was also pondering whether to abandon his current method of avatar control and switch to a semi-control method like the Insectoid Queen. Of course, this requires more advanced technology and specific methods of avatar control to accomplish.

In any case, the Insectoid Queen’s point in saying all of this was essentially to tell Jia Yan that the reason he now has an equal cooperative status with her is just because of the promise of the avatar; without it, the things Jia Yan has shown so far would not easily catch her attention.

But Jia Yan also understands that the Insectoid Queen knows more, such as his power not displayed here, subspace combat capabilities, and so on. The Insectoid Queen knows these and will understand that his combat power will rise another level when he begins to use those methods.

But the Insectoid Queen knows, and others do not.

The intention behind her words was likely not just to give Jia Yan some pressure, but more so to provide some satisfaction to the other Genius Galaxy-Level beings around who heard these words. Otherwise, if a random Genius Galaxy-Level showed up with a status surpassing theirs, they would surely be dissatisfied.

”Such a strong one is indeed formidable, even mastering the art of leadership to such an extent.”

Jia Yan glanced at the Insectoid Queen again, with a bit of admiration.

In fact, he is different from the Insectoid Queen, and even though he has complete control over the Orion Arm, he still mostly acts like a shopkeeper with his hands off, on more levels.

So the Insectoid Queen’s mindset serves as a good model for Jia Yan to learn from, although he probably won’t learn these leadership methods.

”With such a mindset, advancing so quickly in cultivation, I estimate that it will be difficult for me to reach her level in a hundred years. But she not only achieved it but also has such capabilities in dealing with people. No wonder she is acclaimed as a genius capable of reaching the Central Region of the Milky Way.”

Jia Yan nodded silently, feeling that his visit here was not in vain.

In his view, it’s necessary to determine if this place suits him, after all, they need to assess him, and he needs to evaluate whether the environment here suits him.

Jia Yan isn’t some random cabbage off the street, nor is he without places to go. If they test him, shouldn’t he test this place as well? He’s not placing himself that low.

Overall, he didn’t feel overly valued but also wasn’t taken too lightly. Everyone has a bit of a drive to compare themselves, and overall, it’s quite a suitable choice of place.

After all, in the Orion Arm, he is already the strongest. In neighboring starfields, there isn’t anything that can compare to him, so for Jia Yan, developing another place where he can take a step forward is absolutely necessary.

”Since that’s the case, I’ll stay here for a while and see how it goes.”
