Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2308: Chapter 8: Two-Pronged Plan

But a, Star, Star, Star River?!

Ruka felt as if a thunderous shock exploded in his mind, causing him to tremble in fear.

Of course, even if it’s not a Star River, daring to investigate the Star River and oppose a Galaxy Level Powerhouse means there must be a Galaxy Level being backing them, or at least they must have the terrifying power of a Stellar Level strong one.

Encountering such astonishing beings or forces, not to mention his own business group would rather see him dead quickly than get involved, lest he bring about trouble and cause the whole group to be obliterated in an instant.

He who understands the times is a wise man. In such a situation, he knows how to decide.

”Yes, Lord, I will have someone investigate immediately. There are only so many Galaxy Level strong ones in the Starry Sky, so it should be easy to find out the origin of that one, unless he is not from a nearby Galaxy Absolute Lord.”

He quickly agreed.

”Very well, I will wait for you for one day. In one day, I want you to gather as much information as possible. If it’s satisfactory, I might consider giving you a small reward.”

The voice silently disappeared.

It was as if it had never been there, nothing around Ruka changed. If not for his excellent memory, he might have thought it was all just a dream.

”Quick, someone, secretly investigate that person... cough, I mean find out more about the Galaxy Level Lord’s power that we’re collaborating with. After all, to continue our cooperation, we need to know who this Lord is, right?”

Ruka hurriedly called his subordinates, and his words were not a direct investigation.

If he offended another Galaxy Level Lord, he would also be in deep trouble, so he needed a reasonable excuse.

”This Ruka is quite clever, knowing to be prudent and protect himself, able to manage a Factory Planet effectively, indeed has some standards.”

Jia Yan smiled faintly in the subspace.

He was very pleased with Ruka’s ability, thinking that in one day, information about that Galaxy Level being should at least partly appear before him.

Jia Yan never thought of using his own power to conduct an investigation. This is not Earth, and he didn’t have that many resources for investigation anyway, so it was better to use his power to have the locals investigate.

Cosmic Strongmen were essentially such domineering existences.

”Alright, this is just my first preparation. Knowing oneself and the enemy leads to a hundred victories in a hundred battles. Once I understand his identity, I’ll be able confident in assessing his power range and handle him more easily.”

Jia Yan completed his first set of preparations, then continued in the subspace, flying to the exterior of this Factory Star.

In the exterior starry sky, Jia Yan noticed with a slight solemnity that certain detectors in the subspace existed one after another. While Jia Yan could easily destroy them, these detectors would send a signal even if slightly damaged, and they were technologically advanced. Even enveloping them with his Brainwave Power couldn’t obscure their message transmission.

This actually utilized quantum theory; the receivers on the other side paired with these detectors. If these were damaged here, problems would arise on the other side as well. So no matter how powerful Jia Yan became, he couldn’t stop such detectors effectively.

Of course, maybe in the future there will be a way, but at least the current Jia Yan was helpless against it.

”Hmph, they’re probably worried that I’ll leave. If I left and destroyed these detectors, whether I already knew of their existence or accidentally saw them, they’d understand I was gone and would resort to other means. I still don’t want them to know I’ve discovered them.”

The appearance of these detectors further solidified a firm belief in Jia Yan’s mind that a possible ’Galaxy Level’ enemy indeed existed.

”Since you’ve filled the shallow layers of subspace, I’ll go deeper. Let’s see how you find me there.”

Jia Yan smiled slightly, delving his body into deeper subspace.

Regarding subspace, the level of utilization and understanding among creatures in this Milky Way is limited. Aside from strong ones occasionally attacking the deep subspace, knowing it had many layers and possibly unfathomable depths, conventional scientific detectors mostly stayed in the shallow subspace with few creatures venturing into the depths, nor were there detectors aimed at the deep layers.

Jia Yan’s ability to move and even attack in deep subspace was still a secret in this Starfield, so the approaching Galaxy Level Powerhouse had no defenses against it.

Within the Fifth-degree subspace, Jia Yan strolled leisurely.

”Now I will commence another maneuver.”

At such depths in subspace, most matter experiences significant issues, but Jia Yan had long become accustomed and estimated that with enhanced strength, he could even move to deeper subspace. Yet he hadn’t tried, nor was there a need, given the risk and current lack of necessity.

He began executing a new setup in preparation for potentially engaging a Star River level existence.

”This setup envisions a true confrontation with the opponent in this starry sky. Since he intends to trap me here, wagering that I’ll be stranded on this star, slowly setting a trap to capture or kill me?”

”Then I too will set my arrangements, let’s see whose setup is more formidable.”

Jia Yan sneered, and commenced his arrangements.

Near this planet lies a Star Planet Belt or rather a large planetary belt. Endless Interstellar Meteorites fly within this area. In fact, this planet, positioned within this vast meteorite belt, has always been bombarded resulting in a barren life-free area, and the business group seized the opportunity to purchase the operating rights from a certain civilization of this Starfield cheaply, becoming their construction stronghold.

The business group invested considerable effort against this meteorite belt, yet countless meteorites still exist here.

One day, a gigantic creature appeared within this meteorite belt.

The Giant Mosquito, with its beautiful yet dark and robust body, almost blended seamlessly with the surroundings of this meteorite belt, remaining extraordinarily concealed.

”Very good, this meteorite field meets my requirements quite well, and with the lesser amount of meteorites in a short period, nobody would pay much attention. After all, this is a rarely populated Star System, and it’s an Industrial Star System, not a Mining Star System.”

Jia Yan knew that for billions of kilometers around, there were no living beings, so he wasn’t afraid of being quickly discovered by enemies.

Even if there were temporary minor reports in some areas, he wouldn’t care, as long as the enemies weren’t alerted significantly.

Bzz bzz bzz.

One by one, small meteorites, even as large as one to two kilometers or tens of kilometers, resembling small planets, were brought into the subspace interior.

”Previously, crafting Black Hole Spheres using the Adisa gave me significant insights. Now, even though I can’t compress a Black Hole Sphere myself, I have a relatively suitable alternative plan...”

”And that is — converting Yin and Yang!”

Jia Yan smiled faintly, initially using a five-kilometer-large meteorite as a practice object within the subspace.

For the enormous Giant Mosquito, even a five-kilometer giant meteorite wasn’t too large.

Bzz bzz bzz...

A strange Brainwave Power transmitted by Jia Yan through his foot infiltrated the meteorite’s interior.

Suddenly, this meteorite began to undergo changes from its core!

Originally just a gigantic block of ordinary Iron Meteorite, or cosmic matter, it began to turn completely black from the inside out.

Then its surface darkened as well.
