But these myths have now become corpses, surprisingly killed by the very leader of the forces they served!

Even the first, third, and sixth strongest from the Gold Desert were killed in one breath, and the other deceased individuals seem to hold mysterious existences as well.

Just how powerful is their Lord Assassin?

Earth City, is this a defiance of the natural order?

Earth City, as if overnight, went from being constantly shocked to becoming the top force among top forces!

All this is due to their Lord Assassin!

”Alright, the spoils of war cleaned up by my subordinates have been recovered. These corpses are no ordinary things; they were strong beings. Their special parts can be used to make battle armor and weapons, which are important supplies. Gather them up and research their uses,” Daphne said.

Daphne sat in the simple Consciousness Hall, a relatively small building where only some of the upper echelons of Earth City were gathered at the moment.

”Yes!” The monsters took her order.

Compared to the past, Daphne’s commands now, even without Jia Yan backing her up, would be fully obeyed. The results of the recent battle had completely changed the attitudes of the Earth City elites who had not fully pledged their allegiance.

Before, Lord Assassin in their minds was merely a top-ten strong one. Now, he had entirely surpassed the so-called Golden Desert Powerholders!

No one dared to imagine how powerful Lord Assassin was.

Thus, even without him backing Daphne at this moment, no one in Earth City dare to defy Daphne’s orders. After all, this woman seemed to be the spokeswoman for Lord Assassin.

”Right, now that the discussion about the spoils of war is over, let’s move on to the arrangements for the future battles,” Daphne said, picking up a small device in her hand.

She tapped on the screen and a virtual projection about five or six meters long and wide appeared in front of her!

The projection showed the entire Gold Desert map, with countless big and small forces marked all over it.

Being a newly emerged large force, under Daphne’s meticulous arrangements, the locations of all forces in the Gold Desert had almost been completely mastered by her.

Her eyes moved over each light point representing a force, before shifting to look at the organisms gathered underneath.

All her subordinates were staring at the virtual screen floating above their heads, holding their breaths, waiting for Daphne’s next words.

Perhaps they had already guessed what Daphne would say next.

”I mentioned earlier that I will give you 20 days to gather supplies. However, the current situation in the Gold Desert does not allow us to move at such a slow pace anymore!”

Daphne then drew a circle, and a huge light circle appeared on the screen, covering the range where ’Earth City’ was located!

This large circle almost included the entire Gold Desert!

”Now I need you to wage war for me!”

”In five days, quickly strike within the range I marked, plunder all the supplies from all the forces along the way. You heard me right, we are not collecting, we are plundering!”

”Take note of these forces, each of them will have entities comparable to the top twenty from the Gold Desert! What you need to be wary of is not their counterattack, but to pass the message from the Lord Assassin before they flee ‒ surrender if you don’t want to die!”

The words that came out of Daphne’s mouth carried an unexpected spirit of bravery which left the high-ranking individuals of the Earth Team speechless, lost for words for a long time.

While she continued to formulate strategies, in the Hall of Debate not far away...

The place was extraordinarily quiet. Other buildings were virtually absent within a 500-meter radius because this was where the real head of the Earth Team, Lord Assassin, was!

The Big Mosquito, referred to as ”Lord Assassin,” was resting quietly on the ground. Despite the recent battle not exhausting much of his energy, he still chose to rest.

Big Mosquito’s compound eyes emanated a faint light, as he gazed at the countless stars in the sky through the roof of the building.

”The first hurdle has been cleared. But the upcoming ones will only be tougher,” he thought with a sigh.

Especially the white creature who left earlier; she belongs to the Biochemical Empire. Surely the so-called Star Space Level being of the Biochemical Empire wouldn’t remain indifferent to me?” he wondered.

For Jia Yan, what he wanted to do was simply to return to Earth. Before today, he didn’t feel passionate about the Earth City he created, at least nowhere near as passionate as Daphne.

But after today’s battle, he realized that, even if he could return to Earth, what would happen in the future? He had long known that Earth could no longer offer any progress for beings like him.

Only by traveling through enough places and acquiring ample resources could he continue to advance, or perhaps even become the ’Star Sky Beast’ come to life from the legends!

So, owning a powerful logistical force had become a necessary cause.

Besides, Daphne’s gradually revealed behavior made Jia Yan understand that this time, this beautiful woman truly had no ill intentions towards him anymore.

In this case, should he consider, as he had promised Daphne, truly protecting Earth City as a force and perhaps even assisting it to develop into a force that could facilitate his own progress?

Of course, these were just thoughts. If any need arises requiring him to abandon the force, he would certainly do so without any regret!

Even Daphne, as long as she pays the price he expects, Jia Yan wouldn’t find it impossible to abandon her! After all, there was not much deep interaction between them, or rather, it had always been fraught with treacheries in the past!
