Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 527: Chapter 36: Shot Down by One Cannon [Six Thousand Words]_1

(Yesterday, a reader requested a 6000-word update, so I am adding an extra 1000 words today as a token of my appreciation for your support and legit subscriptions. Thank you!!!)

The power of Jia Yan has advanced to such a level that it feels like he has a prediction-like ability!

At this point, he could sense the formidable battleship advancing straight towards him, emitting a feeling of threat that could endanger his life!

”This is bad!!!”

A look of horror appeared in the compound eyes of the Big Mosquito.

Under his gaze, the distant flying battleship, appeared like an unbelievably powerful monster, which had already locked onto Jia Yan’s location. The cannon, which was just beginning to reveal itself, was aimed at him!

It was a battleship belonging to the Auster people!

Inside this massive battleship, the commanders were also wearing a shocked expression. After all, being a part of the Auster army’s war machine, this battleship was an extremely important component of their war hosting element.

They had a thorough understanding of the information concerning the grey-yellow star below. However, they had never heard of such a powerful monster residing within the Grey-Yellow Star!

”Stop the tracking! As there is no prior information, we have the right to destroy it according to the warfare clause number 79. Main cannon, reverse, focus!”

”Optical tracing completed!”

”Microtuner, make the adjustments!”

”Synchronization of micro-adjustment initiated!”

”Countdown to main cannon firing, starting from ten!”

”Countdown begins: Ten, nine, eight, seven...”

The feeling of astonishment in Jia Yan’s heart grew stronger!

He was almost at the point of tears. He had been too careless. After all, this was a planet controlled by a powerful alien civilization, and a war planet at that. Wasn’t it normal to have stellar battleships outside the atmosphere?!

Just as Jia Yan sensed the approaching danger!

He saw a powerful beam of light suddenly shot out from the massive body of the battleship.

At the same time, the threat his body felt suddenly escalated to its peak!

Far off in the horizon, a suddenly emerging light seemed to pierce through the dark universe’s starry sky!

Jia Yan discovered that although the enemy was over twenty kilometers away from him, their attack arrived in a blink of an eye!

Fast!

Extremely fast!

Compared to all other attacks he had experienced, other than the previous laser attack from the Auster disc, this was the fastest!

Although this attack was not at the speed of light, it was definitely not slow. In comparison to the disc’s attack, its strength was increased by countless times!

Jia Yan seemed to sense that the powerful red beam contained terrifying energy.

This was an attack that Jia Yan had never experienced before!

Almost at the moment when he couldn’t react, the attack was right in front of him!

It was only then that Jia Yan recovered from his shock. He wanted to dodge, but it was already too late!

Spurt!!

He felt as though something alien had entered his body.

This red beam seemed possessing a similar taste to the red beam from the Auster people he had previously encountered!

However, in terms of power, the difference was vast!

It was nearly twenty metres wide. It was so bright it seemed as if it could outshine the sunlight!

Hitherto, Jia Yan had never encountered such an attack. Therefore, he hadn’t had time to react, and the enemy made straight for him.

At this point in time, he was facing an extreme crisis!

”Start Deep Blue Defense!” Jia Yan was extremely horrified, but thankfully, his instinct from previous battles was still there. He quickly activated his greatest weapon from his recent mutation!

The most powerful thing among all the mutations that Jia Yan underwent — Deep Blue Defense!

Previously, he had not anticipated that the enemy would launch an attack from such a distant place, so even though he had a sense of crisis in his heart, he wasn’t prepared.

Now that the attack had come so suddenly, he had no choice but to activate his most trusted defensive power.

Deep Blue Defense!

Exactly! If anyone were to ask Jia Yan what was the greatest leap in his recent mutation, apart from self-adjustment, he would definitely say it was his Deep Blue Defense!

Before, the Deep Blue Defense would only be passively deployed at critical moments. Because the deployment of Deep Blue Defense was usually slower than those fast attacks, it often led to damage.

However, during this mutation, because of the self-adjustment plan, Jia Yan spent a considerable amount of effort to deploy this Deep Blue Energy quickly to the surface of the exoskeleton. As a result, the frequency of his use of Deep Blue Defense has allowed him to figure out its activation mode. Now, facing imminent danger, he was able to activate it instantly!

At the fraction of a moment, a bright blue glow emerged on Jia Yan’s body!

This Deep Blue was not just appearing in some areas, but all over his body!

Deep Blue Defense was finally under his control for the first time and responded so swiftly, which meant that Jia Yan had truly conquered it!

His defensive power had stepped up to a new level!

Inside the distant battleship, numerous calculations and wartime mappings were being conducted.
