Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 530: Chapter 36: Shot Down by One Cannon [Six Thousand Words]_4

In the vast desert area, all that remained was the colossal thirty-meter Giant Mosquito, and the impressively tall Daphne, looking up at the Giant Mosquito!

This was the first time Jia Yan had faced Daphne directly since his previous battle with the pristine life form!

Their previous conversations and collaborations were strictly out of necessity for battle, and they hadn’t actually met face to face.

This was practically the first time they had seen each other in a long while, and they both had an uncertain feeling deep in their hearts.

Daphne was wondering if the Mosquito would choose to eradicate her. Meanwhile, Jia Yan was contemplating whether this woman, who claimed to sincerely surrender this time, would genuinely assist him?!

For a moment, Jia Yan remained silent. However, Daphne, seeing a faint Bluish defense on part of his exoskeleton body, asked curiously.

”What just happened?!”

Jia Yan lowered his head to glance at his own body and offered a wry smile: ”Nothing much, just got hit by a Battleship’s cannon.”

Hit by a Battleship’s cannon?

Daphne’s eyes widened in shock.

So, was the Giant Mosquito actually soaring in the sky just now?

And it returned without a scratch after enduring a shot from a Space Battleship!

He claimed he was ’just hit by a cannon?’ Just?!

Ordinary people wouldn’t be left with ’just a scratch’ after being hit by a Battleship’s cannon. They would be completely decimated!

Her look of astonishment persisted for quite a long time before she relaxed a little.

After all, she had previously speculated that the Giant Mosquito’s mutation this time likely allowed it to reach the Star Space Level. If it could withstand an attack from a Space Battleship, even a small one, then it wasn’t a surprise. She knew that even the Giant Mosquito on Earth was capable of resisting tremendous red beams from metal structures!

Thus, at that time, it was already able to withstand an attack from a small Battleship.

So, after a moment of shock, Daphne dismissed her further thoughts. The stronger the Giant Mosquito is, the better.

For a woman who had lost her dreams and merely wished to return to her homeland, she harbored no ill-will towards this Evolutionary Creature at this moment.

”Alright, Master of Giant Mosquito, I hope you won’t recklessly engage in dangerous activities in the future. Our survival depends entirely on you. I hope you stop making such reckless decisions.” Daphne sighed shaking her head: ”I hope your flight this time wouldn’t lead to any big trouble. If those guys above decide to pursue us, our Team would be done for.”

Upon hearing her repeatedly mention the Earth Team, Jia Yan felt strange deep down.

After all, the Earth Team and the so-called Earth Army were idle creations with no real purpose. Now that he had achieved his short-term goals for mutation, the existence of this Earth Team was irrelevant to him.

Surprisingly, Daphne had a different idea?!

”Master of Giant Mosquito, I know you might not have thought too far ahead when establishing this team, but I really attach great importance to our Earth Team. Do you know why?!” Daphne addressed Jia Yan as ’Master’, seemingly trying to appease him.

”Why?”

”Because our return to Earth largely depends on the help of the Team! Ideally, if the Team could develop further, the speed of our resource collection could be greatly increased!”

After speaking her thoughts, Daphne surprised Jia Yan with another piece of information.

”Do you know the method I mentioned to return to Earth? It’s the same way we came here. Yes! By using gravitational waves!”

”After I returned to the Empire Headquarters, I used their high-tech equipment to conduct a series of tests and data collections. Coupled with the data I already had, I have calculated the information necessary to recreate the gravitational wave event!”

”What?! Can it really be recreated?!” Jia Yan was taken aback.
