Of course, what came next was a labor of love. At this time, the town was just a semblance of one, mostly made up of scrapped war vehicles from the war, or hastily constructed from available materials, which was why it appeared so quickly.

”I created the city with my methods, but I don’t know if Big Mosquito would approve of what I did, given his previous actions and apparent lack of concern for the operation of the convoy...”

Daphne had spent the equivalent of over a month in Earth time to get the Earth Team operating as it was now just to facilitate their future actions. But her only concern was Big Mosquito’s attitude.

Ever since she joined the convoy, she found that Jia Yan, that guy, had infuriated everyone with his uniting of all the life forms. If not for his unparalleled strength, he would have been overthrown already!

Through his actions, it was not hard for Daphne to deduce that Big Mosquito had no innate talent for management, let alone the heart to manage this place, thus the past predicament.

So she was worried. With Jia Yan successfully evolving and seeing the prosperity she had created, she even used some of the resources Jia Yan had previously scavenged for the construction. What if he reprimanded her for this?!

”If he had evolved earlier, I would have been able to gauge his thoughts. Yet, just the day before, he announced that nothing should disturb him...”

Daphne gave a bitter smile. She was still clueless about Evolutionary Creatures, with each one seeming to have unique traits, she didn’t know what kind of evolution Jia Yan was going through inside that building, so she had no idea why it was taking him so long!

You must know, translated into Earth Time, she had been in the Earth Team for over a month, and Big Mosquito sank into evolution even before she arrived and yet, he still hadn’t appeared!

...

If Jia Yan could hear Daphne’s complaints, he himself would be somewhat frustrated.

”I didn’t expect this evolution to have so many variables! The estimated time might not be enough, it probably needs to increase by another day.”

In the massive building, Jia Yan helplessly looked at his own body, somewhat speechless.

He realized that his initial estimates lacked objective judgment, so now that he found the actual time required would be longer, he felt a sense of frustration.

But compared to that frustration, his excitement was even stronger!

Why did the time increase? The answer was simple; because he realized he could do even more with his ’self-surgery’!

At this point, Jia Yan was most proud of his self-improvement on his sharp front foot!

Without a doubt, Jia Yan’s blade-shaped chitinous front foot was one of his most important organs in so many battles. So now, he focused on transforming that blade-shaped chitin with all his effort!

What the blade-shaped chitin needed most was lightweight sharpness and strong resilience.

He first ordered the azure material in his body to stack up on it, layer upon layer, a total of eleven layers! You must know that these were eleven whole layers of azure material, although the thickness of the blade-shaped chitin couldn’t be as thick as that of other exoskeleton parts, with such stacked arrangement, Jia Yan could guarantee that it was the toughest structure in his body!

During this period, Jia Yan also tried to construct such a defense in other parts of his body, but other places were not suitable for such an arrangement. Since most parts of his body did not serve the same function as the front foot, if arranged in the same manner, those parts would in turn become less efficient.

He had to use his brainwave power to break down the un-solidified failed parts and carry on with the next transformation, which was where he wasted most of his time.

Fortunately, the repeated attempts were not in vain. Jia Yan even used his brainwave power to enhance his wings, as well as the muscles and bones that required critical exertion!

The upcoming mutation was going to be a huge enhancement. But combined with his own optimization and transformation, he was not sure what level he could reach when he came out!

This was the greatest advantage of Evolutionary Creatures compared to other lives, every evolution was a leap in power!

Jia Yan continued to immerse himself in his mutation.

Setting aside the Golden Desert Force, everyone was watching the Earth Team, this emerging group, with a gold rush mentality. Earth Team, following the previous battle, had gained more attention and caution. This was their golden development period!

But the change was not only in the Golden Desert!

Far from it!

The impact of this battle was so widespread that even Daphne might not have expected it to be so extensive!

Thousands of kilometers away in an area of a thousand miles, everything was in ruins. Trees had collapsed on the ground, everywhere there were craters and destruction caused by massive explosions!

This was the battlefield designated by several civilizations!

Usually, the grey-yellow star life forms wouldn’t dare to venture here.

At this moment, the giant flying creature, which had been slowly traveling here after an exhausting journey, finally landed.
