Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1976  One Sword (2)

”That… How terrifying…” Left in a state of fear after watching someone arguably no stronger than himself, the demonic cultivator could not help swallowing nervously as he looked at the aftermath of the terrifying attack. Knowing that he wouldnʼt have ended up any better than the now dead Land Creation Realm cultivator if he had been the one to face that terrifying attack.

At the same time, he also felt a sense of profound relief that the Blood Sea Demon King hadnʼt decided to make enemies with the Star Shattering Sect in the past.

As for the few Demon Kings who had wanted nothing more than to topple the Star Shattering Sect that essentially stood out like a sore thumb amidst the territory that had now fallen to the Frozen Wastelands, he was certain they would quiet down in the future…

But before contacting those few stubborn demonic cultivators, he first carried out the task that the Blood Sea Demon King had left for him when he had just recently informed him about the appearance of someone from the Star Shattering Sect. Wasting no time as he contacted the Blood Sea Demon King and explained what had just happened in great detail. Not leaving out anything, as he understood full well that this was an order that had been given by the Blood Sea Demon King to better determine the strength of the one that had shown up from the Star Shattering Sect.

After all, even if the Blood Sea Demon King was already certain that Xuan Hao was someone in the Star Creation Realm, he would still make sure to confirm it when he decided to move on those Land Creation Realm cultivators. Understanding full well that there was always a chance that he had been wrong no matter how sure he had felt in his own thoughts regarding Xuan Haoʼs strength.

However, in the face of the terrifying strength that had been displayed along with the clearly visible lasting imprint on the ground itself, the demonic cultivator who had witnessed the attack was certain that Xuan Hao was someone above the Star Creation Realm, as the sheer power displayed just now wasnʼt something that could be easily accomplished by someone in the Land Creation Realm… And even if it could, the damage to the very fabric of space itself was another matter entirely.

Not to mention how casual Xuan Hao had seemed about the entire situation. Delivering a single attack before leaving without the slightest care in the world for the now dead Land Creation Realm cultivator.

This kind of attitude alone was in the eyes of the demonic cultivator who had witnessed everything, a clear sign that Xuan Hao was someone above the Land Creation Realm.

To the Blood Sea Demon King, who ended up hearing about all this along with a bit of embellishment thanks to the awe the demonic cultivator witnessing the scene had felt in the face of the terrifying attack, was thoroughly convinced about his first inclination about Xuan Haoʼs strength. Making him even more sure that the Star Shattering Sect couldnʼt be carelessly offended in the future.

At the very least, in that regard, both the Frozen Wastelands and the Star Shattering Sect had existed peacefully so far without either side getting involved with the other.

In a way, the actions of Xuan Hao today could be considered beneficial to the Blood Sea Demon King and the rest of the demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wastelands, as the rest of the major powers in the Northern Central Region would be cautious about launching an attack on the territory of the Blue Sea Empire.

…

Unaware of the reaction from the side of the demonic cultivators after his first all-out attack since breaking through to the Land Creation Realm, Xuan Hao felt a clear wave of exhaustion washing over him the second he left the battlefield and got out of sight from the demonic cultivator who had been observing the attack from afar.

Although the attack itself looked simple on the surface, it drew upon all his strength and was far from simple to execute. Especially since he had drawn in the Dao of Time into the attack thanks to his divine physique that also allowed him to start mixing it into his attacks.

The Dao of Time itself was still only at the Elementary Realm but put together with the spatial restriction created by the Dao of Space fused into his attack, it placed a unique kind of time space restriction that made it close to impossible for the Land Creation Realm cultivator to escape.

Not because said restriction was especially powerful, but more so because the sudden shift in time perception caused by the restriction had completely caught the other party off guard. Having never faced something like that before.

By the time he realized what was wrong, it had already been too late for him to escape, and the sword strike had reached him. Annihilating him before he even had the chance to put up a proper defense in the face of the terrifying attack.

In a sense, the only reason why the attack had looked so overwhelming to the observing demonic cultivator, like the enemy had no way to resist in the slightest, was because the other party didnʼt have the time to put up a proper defense and was forced to face the attack head on with his spiritual sea and the landmass at the core of his dantian.

Strong as this kind of defense was, it was nowhere near comparable to a proper defense and could more so be considered a last-ditch effort to try and block the attack, a last-ditch effort that had ultimately ended in failure as his land mass was shattered alongside his soul and body.

In the end, Xuan Hao had successfully managed to pull off an attack that had truly ended up making the demonic cultivator watching from the side believe it had been an attack from someone in the Star Creation Realm.

As for the lasting spatial damage… That had been thanks to his own profound comprehension of the Dao of Space working alongside his newly awakened divine physique that gave him a level of mastery when it came to space no less than someone who had reached the Origin Realm in the Dao of Space. Placing his spatial manipulation on a level that would normally be considered impossible for someone in the Land Creation Realm.

Still, though he had been successful the first time around, he still had another two troublemakers to go through, as he still sensed two Land Creation Realm cultivators causing trouble at different parts of the Blue Sea Empireʼs territory.

Originally, the reason why he had decided to target the one at the southern border of the Blue Sea Empireʼs territory had nothing to do with him being afraid of the other party escaping in case he learnt about what happened to the others, but more so had to do with him wanting to use the other party as an example and hopefully make the other two retreat.

After all, powerful as his strength was, it was difficult to kill someone in the Land Creation Realm with a single attack and keep up the illusion of being someone in the Star Creation Realm.

Of course, it didnʼt mean he would just be waiting around for those two Land Creation Realm cultivators to learn about the death of the one at the southern border of the Blue Sea Empire, as that would not be in line with the behavior of someone in the Star Creation Realm.

The reason the one at the southern border had been targeted was because he was the furthest away from the other two and for him to reach the other two would still take some time even with his current comprehension of the Dao of Space-

Whoosh~

But in the end, he still had more than enough time to show up at a second battle between one of the Demon King Realm demonic cultivators and Land Creation Realm cultivator, though it was clear from glance that the two should have already sensed something, as they had both stopped their battle even before his arrival.

In the end, it looked like this Land Creation Realm cultivator hadnʼt been able to escape in time. Not that he cared that much about it, as his strength had managed to recover more than enough for a second attack. The third was what worried him so to speak, as that person was none other than the Ancestor of the Wei Empire, someone at the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm who undoubtedly had countless survival methods up his sleeve that would make it hard even for the Blood Sea Demon King to kill him off.

RUUUUMBLE-!

Still, before worrying about any of this, he once again swung down towards the Land Creation Realm cultivator who only seemed to notice his presence when his attack came swinging down towards. Showing that he was significantly weaker than Xuan Hao had originally anticipated and should be someone who had just recently reached the Land Creation Realm and hadnʼt had the time to stabilize his foundation.

Because of which, he had even less chance of resisting against the sword strike, as he soon enough perished in a similar manner to the first. Only this time around, he had held out a bit longer thanks to pulling out some kind of ancient talisman that had briefly shielded him before ultimately crumbling alongside his body and soul.

bit slow on update, ended up cutting my thumb, so had to take a day off untill it recovered enough for me to write again xD
