Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1956  Half Year Warning

Along with the Star Shattering Sectʼs indifference to the struggle between the Blue Sea Empire and the Wei Empire, the different neutral factions who had ended up in a trade relationship with the Star Shattering Sect could only cry but had no tears to spare. Given their unfortunate position, they not only had to deal with the potential aftermath of the two powerful Land Creation Realm Cultivators clashing with each other spilling into their territory, but they also had to deal with the countless powerful cultivators that flocked to their territory to observe the battle between these two peak figures in the Northern Central Region.

Some of these foreign cultivators had just shown up in the hopes of learning something from observing the battle between these two powerful figures, but an even larger number had shown up in hopes of fishing in troubled waters.

Of course, with most of the people showing up being between the Soul Ascension Realm and the Dao Seed Realm, they werenʼt thinking about ambushing one of the two Land Creation Realm cultivators fighting. Instead, they had turned their attention towards the countless smaller powers that existed across the Blue Sea Empire, as those smaller powers subordinate to the Blue Sea Empire were the first to suffer when the battle between the two ancestors started.

Among these smaller powers, the different neutral factions located in the neutral territory between the two major powers also ended up entering the eye of these people fishing in troubled waters.

Originally, there had been no way for these neutral powers to resist the countless people showing up to try and use the chaotic situation to rob them of everything they had, but thanks to their trade agreement with the Star Shattering Sect that they had thankfully not hidden, these people were cautious about potentially offending the Star Shattering Sect. Offering these neutral factions a bit of safety amidst the chaos that spread throughout the neutral territory.

But… With trade essentially being halted because of the chaotic situation, it was only a matter of time before these people began eyeing them again.

The main reason why nobody had attacked them so far wasnʼt just because of their trade with the Star Shattering Sect, but also because many of these newcomers to the neutral territory believed that the neutral factions were far more important to the Star Shattering Sect than they were. Many even believing that they might serve as a way for the Star Shattering Sect to extent its influence into the Northen Central Region without personally expanding its borders into the Northern Central Region.

This wasnʼt entirely their fault, as hidden ancient sects had often done something similar where they chose a local power to support instead of expanding their own territory to learn about the situation outside the small territories they controlled.

Another factor that was aiding in this belief was the simple fact that these small neutral factions hadnʼt held back in the slightest when it came to bragging about securing a trade relationship with the Star Shattering Sect. having bragged so much after the trade agreement had been finalized that many thought of it being more than just a simple trade agreement.

As for the reason why they had been so excited in the first place? It had to do with the sheer quantity of cultivation resources and artifacts that they could now easily get their hands on through the Star Shattering Sect.

Although the Star Shattering Sect might not yet have a steady supply of cultivation resources, the sheer quantity of pills, elixirs, artifacts and other products created by the Star Shattering Sect was astounding and far too much for the sect to consume on its own, thus ending up being sold off to these neutral factions who were more than happy to take them.

Because of all this, the neutral factions had found themselves in a rather troublesome situation. Knowing that their relationship with the Star Shattering Sect would start coming under scrutiny if trade suddenly stopped.

For this reason, even if it was dangerous to move around with the current state of the neutral territory. Especially when it came to moving around a large quantity of cultivation resources and raw materials, the different neutral factions ultimately decided to band together and form a single large trade caravan that set off towards the Star Shattering Sect. Hoping that the reputation of the Star Shattering Sect would be enough to scare most people off from attacking them.

In the end, contrary to what they had expected to happen, this massive trade caravan managed to safely travel through the chaotic neutral territory, cross the mountains between the core and outer region and officially enter the territory of the Star Shattering Sect without encountering any trouble along the way. Much to the shock of not just the people from the neutral factions, but also Elder Song who found himself with a large quantity of resources that he hadnʼt been expecting.

For those curious about what these neutral factions would do, their safe journey only reinforced their earlier thoughts and made them even more uninterested in attacking them, while those who had already been targeting them decided to give up and instead shift their attention to easier targets.

By the time the trade caravan returned to the chaotic neutral territory, the danger that their factions were facing had essentially disappeared. Leaving only one danger in the form of the two Land Creation Realm cultivators behind for them to worry about.

Although they felt a bit worried about borrowing the name of the Star Shattering Sect to keep themselves safe in this chaotic time, they had already informed Elder Song about the situation, who said they had nothing to worry about. Reassuring them to some extent that the Star Shattering Sect had tactically approved of them using their name to keep themselves safe during the chaos.

But this was not the most important thing they had managed to learn from their brief visit to the Star Shattering Sectʼs territory this time around. Instead, it was the fact that Elder Song had directly told them that the situation should stabilize in another half year.

To them, the battle between the two Land Creation Realm cultivators looked nowhere near being close to ending any time soon and with the strength and recovery of someone at the Land Creation Realm, they had learnt from some of the powerful figures that had visited their homes to learn more about what they knew about the two major powers as locals, that a battle between two Land Creation Realm cultivators could easily last for several years if both parties were equal in strength.

For Elder Song to tell them so directly that the situation would stabilize in another half year could only mean one thing… A senior from the Star Shattering Sect was almost certain to make a move to personally stabilize the situation.

Surprising as it was given how the Star Shattering Sect had remained neutral so far in any conflict playing out between the different major powers and the demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wastelands, it wasnʼt entirely surprising when considering how this conflict might already have started affecting the Star Shattering Sect.

The half year time limit was most likely the time that they intended to give these other powers to resolve their problems on their own and if not, a senior from the Star Shattering Sect would step forward to forcibly calm the situation to avoid it affecting the Star Shattering Sect more than it already had.

As for how this battle affected the Star Shattering Sect whose territory had remained unharmed and completely out of the conflict so far? They had no idea but guessed that it should be the violent fluctuations created by the battles between Land Creation Realm cultivators, potentially interfering with the effectiveness of some of their formations.

Minor as this might on the surface, it could have a severe impact on some crucial qi gathering formations or other unique formations that required no external disturbances to work properly.

No matter, these neutral factions didnʼt plan to dwell too deeply into the plans of the Star Shattering Sect. Instead, they decided to spread out the information Elder Song had shared with them as a simple way to reassure them that the situation would be fine and they didnʼt have to worry about anything if they could hold on until Xuan Hao emerged from seclusion.

Soon enough, causing the information about the Star Shattering Sect setting a time limit on the battle playing out not just between the Blue Sea Empire and the Wei Empire, but also between the Blue Sea Empire and the Frozen Wastelands, to spread like a plague throughout the Northern Central Region.

Causing far more attention to focus on the Star Shattering Sect, while the neutral factions managed to fully secure their own safety amidst the chaos, as they were now viewed as serving as a way for the Star Shattering Sect to share its intentions with everyone without sending someone out personally.
