Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 608: Preparing to Start Construction~

”I wonder why Elder Xuan suddenly started throwing all the people on the Shattered Star peaks out… Do you think he is setting up the formation?”

”Maybe… But the formation should not be that larger? Or perhaps he is just worried about getting interrupt while setting up the formation…”

At the same time Xuan Hao had started throwing people out of the Shattered Star Peaks, Shu Yao and Zu Fei were chatting with each other as they were both wondering why Xuan Hao had suddenly begun throwing people out of the Shattered Star Peaks.

Whoosh~

Suddenly standing up and showing a surprised expression on her face, Shu Yao froze for a short moment before turning towards Zu Fei.

”Elder Xuan just contacted me and asked me to make a new path leading to the Third Star Peak that doesnʼt cross over any of the other Star Peaks… And at the same time asked me to ask you to take care of the people he threw down from the Ninth Star Peak.

Apparently, he also wants to completely close off the path leading inside the Shattered Star Peaks from the base of the Ninth Star Peak. In the future, only the Third Star Peak will be accessible to outsiders…”

Showing a confused expression on her face after saying this, it was clear to anyone watching that Shu Yao had no clue why Xuan Hao had told her what he had.

No matter how powerful the formation he had was, there should be no way for it to cover the entire Shattered Star peaks… Right?

”Really!?” Feeling a similar confusion upon hearing what Shu Yao said, Zu Fei could not help asking for confirmation as she didnʼt expect Xuan Hao to do something as drastic as shutting off the entire Shattered Star Peak expect for the Third Star Peak from everyone not part of the Flying Sword Sect.

After all, it had to be known that the Shattered Star Peaks was a rather famous location for cultivators to explore. Especially the Ninth Star Peak, as there was an abundance of low-grade spiritual herbs growing there.

Closing off everything expect for the Third Star Peak would definitely not go down well with those weaker cultivators who happened to earn a lot from journeying up the Ninth Star Peak and harvesting the spiritual herbs growing there.

Then again, most of the people going up the Ninth Star Peak were weak cultivators mostly in the later stages of the Qi Condensation Realm or the earlier stages of the Foundation Establishment Realm.

No matter how angry they became with the sudden changes, there was not really anything they could do about it.

If the Third Star Peak was also closed up, that would be something different, as Zu Fei truly didnʼt want to deal with a horde of old fossils with half a step in the grave at the Pinnacle of the Core Formation Realm…

”Yes… Looks like I will have to get going immediately so there will actually be a path for those heading to the Third Star Peak.” Nodding her head as she said this, Shu Yao also understood that it would be best to finish the path to the Third Star Peak as quickly as possible-

Swish~

Disappearing from the room both of them were located inside of before Zu Fei could say anything.

”Looks like I should also get going…” Muttering this to herself as she quickly located the group of people sent down the Shattered Star Peaks by Xuan Hao, Zu Fei quickly left the room as she prepared herself to meet the crowd of confused people wondering what had just happened.

…

Back to the present, Xuan Hao was carefully inspecting the Chaotic Qi Formation as it smoothly refined the chaotic qi outside before pure qi rained down from above inside the chaotic qi formation.

Even though it would take a few months for the inside of the Chaotic Qi Formation to be filled up with the pure qi refined by the Chaotic Qi Formation. After that, the inside of the Chaotic Qi Formation would be nothing short of a holy land for cultivators, as cultivating in such a place would allow one to rapidly improve!

Although he could speed up the process in which the inside of the Chaotic Qi Formation was filling up with pure qi refined from the chaotic qi outside by limiting the area covered by the Chaotic Qi Formation, Xuan Hao did not plan to do this, as building the sect and moving everyone to the Shattered Star Peaks would definitely take a few years!

”Hm… I should inform Elder Song about- Ah… I should inform Feng Chen about the formation being successfully set up and the fact that he can start the construction of the new Flying Sword Sect.” Remembering that Elder Song was still recovering from his injuries after having tried to make the demonic medicinal potion, Xuan Hao quickly shook his head before changing the person he wanted to inform from Elder Song to Feng Chen.

Given Elder Song was still recovering, the person who he should inform about the formation being successfully set up was Feng Chen.

Shu Yao already knew about it, as he had already informed her about the formation being set up shortly after he noticed that she had finished the new path leading up to the peak of the Third Star Peak.

Probably before long, she would also inform the elders from the Spring Flower Sect without him doing anything and the construction of the new main sect of the Flying Sword Sect could officially begin!

Swish~

Thinking this to himself, Xuan Hao quickly pulled out his communication talisman before contacting Feng Chen.

…

”Hah… Finally finished with todayʼs work, I never imagined it would be so stressing without Elder Song around…” Muttering this to himself as he leaned back in his chair inside his room, Feng Chen looked towards the empty desk located in front of him with a happy smile on his face.

After the first day had passed with Elder Song taking a week off to recover, Feng Chen had suddenly been met with an unprecedented amount of work that he never imagined he would ever see.

The thing that made it even worse, was the fact that on the second day, he realized that the work he had gotten on the first day was nothing in comparison compared to what he got on the second day of Elder Songʼs week off…

It was at that moment that Feng Chen realized that he needed to promote a few more elders in the future when he got time, so they could help keep up with the massive amount of work that endlessly flowed into his room.

In the future when Elder Song returned to work again, Feng Chen decided to establish a special elder position that would only be focused on the management of the sect. Putting Elder Song in charge of this new group of elders was also something Feng Chen look forward to, as it would not only be able to help him out in case he needed to take over for Elder Song in the future, but it would also be able to lessen the work that would normally go to him!

A win-win situation in Feng Chenʼs eyes… All he needed to do was survive the week without Elder Song and everything would be fine…

”Hm….?”

It was at this moment that Feng Chen suddenly felt someone contacting him through his communication talisman, causing him to instantly return from his fantasy of establishing a brand-new branch of elders dedicated to managing the internal problems of the Flying Sword Sect.

”Elder Xuan? Did something happen?” Picking up the communication talisman and hearing the voice from the other side, Feng Chen could not help worrying that something had happened.

”Ah, itʼs not anything bad at all sect master! Actually, I just called you to inform you that I finished setting up the formation in the Shattered Star Peaks and you can start informing the elders in charge of construction about it. Donʼt worry about Shu Yao and Zu Fei, I already informed both of them about it.”

”....”

Hearing what Xuan Hao said, Feng Chen froze for a short moment as he unconsciously glanced down towards the empty table in front of him…

”Sect master? Are you there?”

”Ah! Yes, yes, Iʼm here! I was just thinking about something, I will go inform the rest of the elders immediately…” Panicking slightly when he heard Xuan Hao calling out to him from the other side of the communication talisman after not hearing him, Feng Chen quickly responded in a helpless tone.

Not long after, both of them agreed to meet at the base of the Ninth Star Peak, where Xuan Hao would show him the formation and where they could set up the new sect.

”Haaaa… Elder Song, please return quickly…” Muttering this to himself as he put down the communication talisman, Feng Chen soon made his way outside to inform the elders in charge of the new main sectʼs construction before heading towards the Shattered Star Peaks.

With the winged lion demon beast Xuan Hao had tamed around, Feng Chen was not really worried anything would happen to the Flying Sword Sect during his absence.
