Chapter 528: Entering the Mountain Range~

As Chu Yang followed the Core Formation Realm Expert and got briefed about the escort mission and what was expected of him to do during the journey, the flying ship from the Order of the Sky God arrived in the periphery of the mountain range that the base mentioned by the Su Wuhan was located.

Closely observing the first mountain that appeared in front of them, Domain Lord Lin from the Order of the Sky God could not help frowning after not seeing a single person from the church of the plague godʼs side on the ground below.

”I donʼt see anyone at all… Are you really sure that the base of the church of the plague god is located here…?” Narrowing his eyes as the frown on his face deepened, as they got even closer to the mountain range without spotting anyone from the church of the plague god, Domain Lord Lin threateningly asked Su Wuhan standing just beside him.

”I-Iʼm sure! I clearly remember facing the expert from the church of the plague god just over there!”

Showing a fearful expression on his face while looking around the mountain range slowly getting closer and closer to them, Su Wuhan pointed towards a location at the base of one of the mountains located deeper inside the mountain range just barely visible from the deck of the flying ship.

”Looks like someone did indeed fight over there just recently…”

Looking towards the location that Su Wuhan pointed, Domain Lord Lin seemed to calm down slightly before focusing his attention back onto the mountain range below. Putting even more effort into scanning his surroundings with his divine sense. Looking for anyone who might be a member of the church of the plague god.

”Hm?! Finally found someone!”

Not even a few seconds after having refocused back on looking for members of the church of the plague god in the mountain range below, Domain Lord Lin suddenly showed a surprised expression on his face as he had actually managed to discover someone.

Creak~

Just as Domain Lord Lin was about to say something, the door leading up to the deck of the flying ship from the inside of the ship opened as Archbishop made his way onto the deck of the flying ship.

”Your excellency!”

”Donʼt mind me, you can go down and catch that little fellow you just found and see if he knows anything useful.”

”Yes, your excellency!”

Whoosh~

Jumping off the side of the flying ship, Domain Lord Lin rushed towards the person he had found just a moment ago while searching the mountain range with his divine sense.

Seeing this, Archbishop Soft Breeze made his way to the front of the ship before gazing towards the mountain range in front of them. At this point, the flying ship had already managed to reach the first mountain and the site where the battle between Su Wuhan, the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom, and the expert from the church of the plague god, was clearly visible.

Looks like it should indeed be someone at the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm!

Scanning the place where the battle had supposedly taken place, Archbishop Soft Breeze grew confident in his belief that the person from the church of the plague godʼs side should be a Fourth Stage Domain Lord.

Just how strong is the broken Mystic Grade Defensive Artifact… For it to be able to help the little king, who is merely half a step into the Domain Lord Realm escape from a Fourth Stage Domain Lord…

At the same time, Archbishop Soft Breeze understood just how powerful the broken artifact that he had gotten his hands on was, causing him to grow even more excited thinking about how useful it would be to him after getting it repaired.

Maybe I can even get the order to pay for the repairs after I come back with news of the rare spiritual metals below the capital of the Azure Sky Kingdom…

As his thoughts drifted towards just how great things would be after returning from the Azure Sky Kingdom, Archbishop Soft Breeze failed to notice a small shimmer behind the flying ship as soon as they bypassed the first mountain of the mountain range…

As for Domain Lord Lin and Mei, one had just left the ship to chase down a member of the church of the plague god ahead of them, while the last had similarly failed to notice the shimmer behind them.

However, this did not have to do with the fact that Domain Lord Mei was not paying attention, but more with the fact that she was simply too weak to notice with her current strength!

Whoosh~

Returning back to the flying ship after having caught the person from the church of the plague god, Domain Lord Lin smilingly landed in front of Archbishop Soft Breeze.

Thump!

”Your excellency! This fellow is rather cowardly, he divulged the location of the base as soon as I caught him! According to what he said, the base of the church of the plague god should be located at the base of a mountain at the centre of the mountain range.”

Throwing the shivering man in his grasp onto the deck of the flying ship, Domain Lord Lin snickered disdainfully as he said this before waiting for Archbishop Soft Breezeʼs response.

”Hm… Indeed, a cowardly one. At most a High Priest of the Plague God… Just kill him, we will check out the location, as it should be around the same place the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom told us about.”

”Ah-!”

Along with the painful scream from the person caught by Domain Lord Lin as he was killed off, Archbishop Soft Breeze did not pay too much attention to this, as he focused most of his attention towards the centre of the mountain range. The location that both the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom and the person that had just been killed off said was the location of the base!
