Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 521: Young Priest and Su Wuhanʼs Worries

On top of a large flying ship rapidly moving through the air, a young priest was nervously making his way down a large exquisitely decorated corridor leading towards a large wooden door made from an ancient spiritual tree. Several holy symbols were carved into this door. Giving it an ancient and divine presence.

Seeing this door, the young priest became even more nervous, as he understood just how important the person on the other side of the door was.

Just one wrong move and he might lose his little life!

Originally, it had not been him who should inform the exalted personage behind the door, but he had ended up loosing a bet with a friend and was promptly forced down the long and exquisitely decorated corridor stretching through the entire hull of the flying ship before he had any chance to say anything!𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Ah! If I just didnʼt lose the bet from earlier…

Remembering how he had ended up in his current situation, the young priest could not help shaking his head filled with regret as he arrived in front of the large wooden door.

Knock Knock~

”Your Excellency, we are going to arrive at the border of the Azure Sky Kingdom within the next half hour. ”

Gently knocking on the door, the young priest used all his remaining courage to say this before anxiously finding a place to wait in front of the large wooden door for a response.

Creak~

Along with the creaking sound of the large ancient wooden door, the young priest felt a few droplets of sweat run down his face as he quickly lowered his head. Not daring to look up at the person who opened the door.

Whoosh~

Feeling a terrifying pressure suddenly descend out of nowhere along with the sound of footsteps coming from the room beyond the ancient wooden door, the young priest felt his breathing become erratic as he barely managed to keep his composure.

”This humble priest greets his excellency!”

Just managing to get these words out, the young priest used all his strength to remain in a respectful position.

The young priest was already certain that the exalted personage was controlling his aura just barely enough for him to not outright collapse on the ground, so he gritted his teeth as he waited for the footsteps to grow distant before finally disappearing.

How the young priest was so certain about the person controlling his aura, was due to the simple fact, that if he did not. The young priest would have been squashed to death already…

Thump~!

”Hah… Hah…”

Collapsing on the floor sweating all over the moment he was left alone, the young priest could not help staring towards the other end of the corridor filled with horror. The pressure was simple way too terrifying. Even the few other strong people he had encountered before came nowhere close!

”An Archbishop… Truly terrifying!”

Muttering this to himself as he managed to get back up from the floor, the young priest slowly made his way out of the corridor inside the flying ship before returning back to his own small room on the flying ship.

Even if he knew that he would not be able to rest for more than half an hour, as they were about to reach the Azure Sky Kingdom, the young priest wanted to recover as much of his energy as possible. Not in case of an attack from the church of the plague god after they entered the Azure Sky Kingdom, but in case he managed to encounter the Archbishop again!

In the young priestʼs eyes, the Archbishop was far more terrifying than the church of the plague god in the Azure Sky Kingdom that they had come to deal with!

…

”The churches of the Sky Empire are really not slow to act… To think someone from the Order of the Sky God already arrived. Not to mention that they sent over an Archbishop!”

Walking around with an obvious frown on his face, the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom Su Wuhan had already learned about the Order of the Sky God having sent over someone to erase the church of the plague god that had begun taking control over his kingdom… Something that he should normally be very happy about, as they would essentially be dealing with his problems almost free of charge. At most he would have to build a few temples or churches for the Order of the Sky God in his kingdom as repayment.

”Hehe, you donʼt have to worry about it, just do as we planned, and everything will be fine.”

An eerie voice suddenly interrupted Su Wuhanʼs train of thought as a woman wearing a robe belonging to the church of the plague god appeared inside his throne room.

Not showing any signs of shock at the appearance of the person from the church of the plague god, Su Wuhan narrowed his eyes as he moved towards his throne.

Thump~

As he slowly sat down at the throne inside the room, Su Wuhanʼs gaze remained locked on the person from the church of the plague god.

”But… They sent an Archbishop! Even the weakest Bishops have reached the Domain Lord Realm… How do you plan to deal with an Archbishop!? Someone ranked above a Bishop!”

”Hehe, this is not something you have to worry about little king~ All you have to do is follow our little plan~”

Not the slightest bit scared upon hearing what Su Wuhan said, the woman from the church of the plague god laughed a bit as she said this.

”Hmph, I hope your church knows what itʼs doing! If not… It will end up dragging me down and revealing some of my masterʼs plans to the Sky Empire! If my master-”

”Yeah, yeah, I know~ Your big scary master will be angry with my little church~ How scary~”

Not at all intimidated by what Su Wuhan said, the woman from the church of the plague god instead began teasing him before disappearing from the throne room.

”That damnable woman-!”

Not knowing what to say, Su Wuhan barely managed to keep his composure as he stared in the direction that the woman from the church of the plague god had left in.

If not for them suddenly showing up and messing around with things in his kingdom, he would never have had to worry about an Archbishop from the Order of the Sky God coming to visit!

Not only did it put his life at risk if he was seen through by the other party, but he would also end up risking revealing some of his masterʼs plans!

If he really ended up revealing something to the Archbishop of the Order of the Sky God… He dared not imagine what his master would do to him…

At the very least, the protection master placed on me should be able to fool the sight of anyone below the Soul Ascension Realm… As long as the Archbishop is not in the Soul Ascension Realm. Everything should be fine…

Thinking this to himself, Su Wuhan glanced towards the entrance of his throne room once again before standing back up.

Knowing that the people from the Order of the Sky God would soon arrive, he had to properly prepare himself and make sure that the Archbishop would not be able to find anything wrong with him!

…

Flame Mountain City, a city located just at the outskirts of the Burning Mountain Range and also the location of an Explorer Union Branch.

”Finally! We are back!”

At this moment, Gui Hu exclaimed loudly as he rushed through the small gate leading inside the city. Completely ignoring the few guards standing at the front and the line of people standing in line in front of him.

”…”

”Donʼt worry about it, members of the Explorer Union and people above the Foundation Establishment Realm can enter without waiting in line. The guards here… Are also quite familiar with Gui Hu…”

Seeing Chu Yang staring weirdly towards the direction Gui Hu had run off to, Chen Yang felt like he had to explain this, as he smiled a bit wryly while pointing in the direction of the group of guards that had completely ignored Gui Hu as he rushed past them.

From the looks of it, the guards had indeed already gotten quite used to this…

”For now, how about we enter the city and go visit the branch? If Iʼm not wrong, they should have a map of the surroundings available for you to look at.”

”Sounds great…”

Not feeling too confident about his ability to find his way back to the Flying Sword Sect, Chu Yang half-heartedly agreed to what Chen Yang said before following him inside the city.

No matter what, he was more than happy that he had managed to get out of the Burning Mountain Range.

Finding his way back to the Flying Sword Sect was not something he needed to worry about for now, as he had only been gone for about a week…
