Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 515: Chu Yangʼs Journey... On the Right Path...

Hiding the ancient teleportation formation on the side of the primeval forest to the best of his abilities, Xuan Hao returned back to the valley once again before finding the grand elder of the Half Spirit Race.

After informing him about some of the dangers he had encountered on the other side of the ancient teleportation formation, Xuan Hao easily managed to convince the grand elder to not enter the ancient teleportation formation and to do his best in preventing his people from entering it as well.

In the end, it had been far easier to convince the grand elder than he had first expected. The main reason for this, was that according to the grand elder, his people didnʼt use the ancient teleportation formation for anything other than catching a few weaker demon beasts for their coming-of-age ceremony.

Outside of that, the ancient teleportation formation was more of nuisance, as some demon beasts managed to get through it from time to time and attack their small town.

The short conversation with the grand elder only lasted for a short moment and Xuan Hao soon left the small valley of the Half Spirits before making his way back towards the Flying Sword Sect.

…

At the same time Xuan Hao began making his way back towards the Flying Sword Sect, Chu Yang who had been wandering in the direction that the people of the village had pointed him towards for the last few hours.

”This… Does not look like the Shattered Star Peaks…”

Looking over at the other side of the ravine suddenly blocking his path forward, Chu Yang had a feeling that he was not going in the direction of the Shattered Star Peaks…

On the contrary, the ravine in front of him looked eerily similar to a ravine that was described as one located at what was the border between the Flying Sword Sect and the Raging Flame Sect… At least that was the case when the Raging Flame Sect had still been around…

”According to the description about the ravine that served as a border, there should be an outpost on the side of the Raging Flame Sect. Even if the Raging Flame Sect is gone, there should at least be a few ruins left behind…”

Muttering this to himself, Chu Yang began to inspect the other side of the ravine. Looking for the ruins of what had once been an outpost of the Raging Flame Sect.

”Looks like there is nothing! If I donʼt remember wrong, there should also be a ravine on the path to the Shattered Star Peaks… I should still be on the right track!”

Not seeing any ruins from an outpost of the Raging Flame Sect on the other side of the ravine, Chu Yang felt himself grow confident that he was on the right path towards the Shattered Star Peaks after remembering that he and his master had passed also passed over a ravine when they had gone there together.𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

The time it took to reach the ravine in question was far less than what it had taken him, but Chu Yang just blamed this on the fact that he had taken a wrong turn at the start.

Like this, Chu Yang easily jumped to the other side of the ravine and confidently continued his journey towards the Shattered Star Peaks. Completely missing the ruins of several large buildings that had seemingly fallen into ravine before being covered up by a few plants that had grown over the past year.

Missing the buildings that had fallen into the ravine was not something easy to do, as even a quick glance over the ravine would be more than enough for even a normal mortal to stop them…

However, Chu Yang had completely neglected the fact that the outpost of the Raging Flame Sect might have ended up in the ravine below. Not thinking that someone would have gone through the effort of throwing the entire outpost in to the ravine below…

Unfortunately, Chu Yang had no idea about all of this and directly left the Flying Sword Sects territory. Entering the territory that had formerly been under the control of the Raging Flame Sect.

Not knowing just how chaotic the place had become following the Raging Flame Sectʼs destruction…ʼ

…

Only a short time after having jumped over the ravine, Chu Yang was rendered speechless, as he was met with the sight of two large groups of cultivators numbering in the hundreds clashed with each on a large open pasture below the hill he was standing on top of. Instantly devasting everything in their surroundings.

BOOM!

Along with what he assumed to be the leaders of both sides clashing, the battle taking place in front of him became even more intense.

After all, the people fighting on the green pasture below him were all relatively strong. Most of them having reached the Foundation Establishment Realm, while at least five on each side had reached the Core Formation Realm. The leaders clashing with each other were both people above the Third Stage of the Core Formation Realm. Having reached the Fourth Stage of the Core Formation Realm.

”Hm? Whoʼs there!”

Suddenly feeling a presence of someone, Chu Yang called out as a he took out his spear and got ready to fight.

”Haha, no need for that, Iʼm just here to watch the fight between to Simen and Mapai Sect. Arenʼt you also here for that?”

Followed by a short laugh, a tall man appeared on the small hill. Making sure to keep some distance between himself and Chu Yang.

”Simen Sect? Mapai Sect? Havenʼt heard about them before…”

Frowning slightly upon hearing the name of the two sects fighting on the pasture below, Chu Yang tried his best to remember the names of the smaller sects inside the Flying Sword Sectʼs territory, but ultimately failed. After all, he had never really spent much time learning about the names of those weaker sects living inside the Flying Sword Sectʼs territory…

The reason for this was rather simple… They were simply way too weak… This could easily be seen from the battle taking place on the large pasture below. Even the strongest among them had only reached the Fourth Stage of the Core Formation Realm…

A sect where the strongest person had only reached this realm, Chu Yang really didnʼt want to waste his time remembering the hundreds, if not thousands of sects like that inside the Flying Sword Sectʼs territory…

”You donʼt know about the Simen and Mapai Sect!?”

Showing a slightly shocked expression on his face after hearing that Xuan Hao hadnʼt heard about the two sects before.

”Yes? Is something wrong?”

Not feeling that anything was wrong with him not knowing about the two obviously weak sects, Chu Yang could not help feeling curious about why the tall man had showed such a shocked expression on his face after hearing that he didnʼt know about the two sects.

”You must be a traveller from one of the other regions to not know about them. After all, they are extremely famous!”

”Is that so… What are they famous for?” Not refuting the tall manʼs description of him, Chu Yang asked about the two sects currently in the process of fighting to the death.

Even if he didnʼt care about them, he still became rather curious after seeing just how shocked the tall man had become after realizing that he had no idea who the Simen and Mapai Sect were.

”The Mapai Sect is well known for being beast tamers, they are most famous for their Great Fire Demon Horses! One of those demon beast horses even reached the Core Formation Realm! Look, its down there as well!”

Introducing the Mapai Sect to him with a smile on his face, the tall man proceeded to point towards a large black horse with fire all around it fighting against two Core Formation Realm Experts on the Simen Sectʼs side at the same time.

At the same time, he could also see several weaker horse demon beasts supporting the members of the Mapai Sect. Some of them even sacrificing their lives to keep them safe…

The difference between the Mapai Sect beast tamers and the Flying Sword Sectʼs beast tamers… It was simply way too large… And not in a good way.

”What about the Simen Sect?”

Turning his gaze towards the Simen Sectʼs side, Chu Yang could not help asking. Having grown even more curious about the two sects fighting to the death on the green pasture spreading out below him.

”The Simen Sect… They are quite well known for producing all kinds of special silk. Their strongest silk is even rumoured to be strong enough to block the attacks of someone at the Core Format-”

”AH!”

A loud painful scream suddenly interrupted the tall man, as he narrowed his eyes and looked down towards the battlefield below.

At this moment, the Simen Sect had gotten the advantage, as they began pushing back the Mapai Sect. The painful scream from earlier had come from the leader of the Mapai Sect, who had his entire left arm cut off by the leader of the Simen Sect!
