Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Chapter 1651: Chapter 575: Lin Muxue: Showing Off Without Me?

The timeline goes back one hour ago.

Executive suite at the Four Seasons Hotel, study room.

On the desk, two computers are placed side by side.

The left desktop is playing a remote MBA course video from Imperial College, ”Global Asset Allocation and Cross-Border Fund Management.”

The sound of the instructor’s British accent is heard.

After a while.

Lin Muxue rubbed her temples, paused the video, her eyes showing a hint of fatigue.

She picked up her phone, opened the WeChat interface, and left a message for Tang Song: ”President Tang, you’re coming to Xiang River tomorrow, right? I’ve already booked the hotel for you, do you need me to book your train ticket as well?”

”Buzz buzz buzz——”

[Tang Song: ”Yes, I’ll be there around 11 AM tomorrow. I’ve already bought the train ticket.”]

Lin Muxue quickly replied: [Okay, I will pick you up at the station on time.]

Then, she sent over the precautions, processes, and pickup location details for entering Xiang River from Shen City, clearly organized and thoroughly arranged.

Putting down the phone, Lin Muxue bit her lip, beginning to look forward to Tang Song’s arrival.

The plane ticket for Tang Song’s trip to Shen City was bought by her, but he didn’t share his detailed itinerary with her as his assistant.

With her high emotional intelligence, she naturally sensed that Tang Song was going to accompany another woman.

So she sensibly did not mention going with him.

She opened her Moments, and a post caught her eye.

[Shen Yuyan: ”The heart rate of a city, some people are trying hard to get closer. The wind in Xiang River is a bit salty, and a bit wild.”]

The accompanying photos were ones she had just taken:

The city skyline of Central at night, champagne glasses on the terrace of Huaxia Club, blurry figures at financial social events, and a three-person group photo, with composed smiles and assured demeanor.

As a former ”fake socialite,” she really understood the subtleties of this ”subtle boasting” style.

It was about showing the steps into a new social circle, without losing grace and restraint.

She let out a slight hum, casually gave it a like, and complimented her.

Lin Muxue took a photo of herself working diligently and posted it on her Moments.

Captioned: ”Late at night, high in the building. The words in the files are brighter than the city’s neon lights.”

After posting on Moments.

Lin Muxue encouraged herself, turning her gaze to the laptop on the right.

As a financial company, especially for a key executive like her, remote work or accessing important documents via external networks requires ”data transfer encryption” through VPN to be viewed.

Recently, due to Tang Song being busy with Songmei Clothing, coupled with Rongliu Capital’s stable business.

She was only assisting with some business and hadn’t been paying serious attention to all developments.

And Shen Yuyan’s performance completely awakened her competitive awareness, starting to seriously ”catch up.”

Quickly, her gaze landed on a folder.

([Internal Communication·Confidential Only] Sensitivity Level: L3 | Restricted to ”read-only permission” personnel.)

This was created last weekend, and considering the sensitivity level, only a very few people had permission to view it.

As a VP level and Tang Song’s chief assistant, she naturally had this permission.

However, at that time, she received an invitation from Mo Xiangwan, her mind fully occupied with the upcoming LVMH social event and the trip to Xiang River.

She hadn’t noticed this document added by the headquarters’ HRD Yao Meicun, Macy.

She clicked to view it.

[FOF-Alpha Project] | Proposed Draft for Organizational Structure Reform

[Attachment] Personnel Confidential Approval Process | New Position Permission Division

[Attachment] Document Preparation Group | Personnel Background Check Assistance Request

Lin Muxue slightly frowned, quickly clicking to read.

The more she read, the more she felt something was off.

This was not just some ordinary process document, but a complete systemic organizational structure design for a ”large-scale private equity hybrid strategy”!

Due to the unique nature of Rongliu Capital (single LP, fully controlled by Tang Song), the original company structure was barely suitable for traditional international capital, not even as complete as Yan City’s WOFE.

There was no board of directors, investment committee, or management committee.

Along with the redundancy of personnel positions, it was somewhat of an ”unprofessional group.”

According to this new organizational structure, it would be a full five-layer structure.

Employees’ positions would also have stricter classifications.

For instance, based on her current annual salary, she should be classified as an ED (Executive Director) level, which is the second tier.

Meanwhile, new departments like an overseas strategy group, FOF liaison office, and institutional LP relations department would be established.

What was most shocking was the ”candidate list.”

It included an investment vice president from Goldman Sachs Asia, a risk strategy expert from former Tai Meng Capital, and even a fund partner candidate from BlackRock Xiang River, all marked as ”potential recruits.”

”What’s this... another big change?”

Lin Muxue gasped, realizing she had indeed been negligent, noticing such major developments only now.

She bit her lip, quickly opened her corporate email, her fingers flying as she conducted a keyword search.

Subsequently, another email marked with sensitivity came up.

[Meeting Minutes (Excerpt Version) with Head of International Affairs M. Leonard from Kate Trust]

It was sent by Simon, the vice president in charge of fundraising at the head office, to Tang Song the day before yesterday, Cc’d to five people including her.

Her fingertip paused, just about to click and view it.

But at that moment, the phone buzzed ”buzz buzz buzz.”

[Bei Yuwei]

Lin Muxue was slightly taken aback, picked up the phone, and answered the call.

In a gentle voice, she said, ”Hello? Yuwei.”

They had already discussed it beforehand on WeChat, and this currently top female star was very polite and enthusiastic, not showing any celebrity airs, and they got along quite well.
