Chapter 1652: Chapter 575: Lin Muxue: Showing Off Without Me? (2)

”Hello, Muxue, do you have some time now?” Bei Yuwei’s pleasant voice came through the receiver.

”Yes, I do.”

”I’ve just checked into the Four Seasons Hotel and am sitting here at the executive lounge on the 45th floor. Let’s talk about tomorrow’s LVMH banquet and get to know each other formally in advance~”

”Great, I’ll head over right away!”

”Ah, and by the way, there’s another guest with me, arranged by President Mo.”

Lin Muxue’s heart moved slightly, ”Alright.”

Indeed, Mo Xiangwan had mentioned arranging two people to accompany her.

But the other person hadn’t contacted her, it seemed they were with Bei Yuwei.

Could it be another big celebrity?

She hung up the phone.

Lin Muxue glanced at the meeting minutes that hadn’t been opened yet, as if she vaguely sensed their significance.

No rush though, she thought, let’s meet Bei Yuwei and the others first, and review it later.

...

Executive Lounge.

Guided by the waiter, Lin Muxue walked through the spacious and quiet viewing area and stepped into the lounge.

By the large glass window overlooking the sea, two ladies were seated on a dark leather sofa.

Considering she was a popular and trending star, Lin Muxue immediately recognized Bei Yuwei.

Compared to her video appearances, she looked slimmer and more refined.

Dressed in a black blazer and white high-waisted wide-leg pants, the crisp cut accentuated her tall figure, and her thick, fluffy hair was dyed with red and blue gradients, creating a bold presence and high celebrity identifiability.

Next to her was a middle-aged woman in her 30s, with an upright posture and calm demeanor, wearing a beige business suit.

An unfamiliar face, apparently not a celebrity or artist.

Noticing the movement, Bei Yuwei looked over.

Her makeup was exquisite, facial features bright.

Their eyes met, and Bei Yuwei stood up first, beaming with a radiant smile.

”Hello, Muxue, very pleased to meet you.”

”Hello, Yuwei.”

Lin Muxue smiled slightly, quickened her steps involuntarily, reached out for a handshake naturally.

The two exchanged friendly handshakes and briefly assessed each other.

Bei Yuwei was amiable and enthusiastic, sincerely complimenting her appearance and demeanor.

Lin Muxue responded with a smile, devoid of any nervousness.

Given her relationship with Mo Xiangwan and Su Yu, she didn’t feel any sense of awe or admiration towards any celebrity, regardless of their fame.

After brief pleasantries, Lin Muxue turned her gaze to the poised middle-aged woman next to Bei Yuwei.

Bei Yuwei hadn’t introduced her yet, but the woman stood with a smile, saying, ”Hello, Ms. Lin, I’m Cheng Siman from TY Precision.”

Lin Muxue was slightly stunned.

She hadn’t expected someone from TY Precision to be here.

Bei Yuwei quickly added in a low voice, ”President Cheng is the head of the consumer electronics business unit at TY Precision and is one of the most significant invited guests for this LVMH Asia-Pacific elite gathering.”

Realizing her identity, Lin Muxue felt a jolt in her heart.

She quickly composed herself, speaking with a hint of tension, ”Hello, President Cheng, I’m honored to meet you.”

Though unfamiliar with the name, she knew about TY Precision.

Especially because of Tian Jing, she’d researched it thoroughly before.

As a leading global tech manufacturing group, TY Precision was monumental.

The consumer electronics segment was one of the most publicly engaged and popular components within the TY system.

The smart sports camera she herself used was from this business unit.

Not to mention the range of smart wearable devices, AR glasses, AI terminals, notebooks, among other product lines.

An individual of such caliber holds a central position anywhere, on par with high-level executives at LVMH Group.

She found it almost unbelievable—Mo Xiangwan arranged for such a ”big shot” to accompany her into the venue.

This level of ”backing” was beyond what an ordinary person could possess.

She even suspected that it was Su Yu personally reaching out, to care for her as a ”close friend”, hence the grand arrangement.

The three sat down at the sofa area, and the waiter served tea as small talk ensued.

When the conversation turned to the LVMH banquet’s agenda.

Cheng Siman said casually, ”This banquet is actually a joint promotional release by TY and LVMH. Next, we’ll be venturing more into the fashion industry, engaging in collaborative designs, such as customized high-end wearable devices and co-branded electronic accessories.”

Lin Muxue nodded eagerly, ”I see, a top-tier tech company like TY certainly has the capability for this. I’m very much looking forward to the collaboration results of both firms and will definitely support it when the time comes!”

”Haha, thank you,” Cheng Siman smiled and then said, ”By the way, you’re the Chief Assistant at Rongliu Capital, right, Ms. Lin?”

”Yes, I am.”

”Then we’ll soon have the opportunity to collaborate, and I hope you’ll support us when the time comes.”

Lin Muxue was briefly taken aback, ”What do you mean, President Cheng?”

Cheng Siman said softly, ”My visit to Xiang River is also for a very important matter. Our subsidiary, Xuanji Light Realm, is preparing for a major funding round, and the leading investor is your company—Rongliu Capital.”

”Xuanji Light Realm...” Lin Muxue muttered, her mind racing.

Although she had never heard of the company.

Cheng Siman explained, ”It’s a startup team spun off from TY’s lab, aiming to redefine mobile internet interaction through lightweight AR glasses with edge AI computing, crafting the next-generation human-machine interface.

This is an undertaking President Mo has come to discuss in Xiang River. Besides Rongliu Capital, investors this time also include Tangzong Entertainment, Qingning Technology, which are also focal points of our companies’ future development.”
