Standing in a spacious and cozy office area, she looked around.

As the company’s first interviewed and hired employee, Sun Youguang was overwhelmed with excitement.

He felt that his life was full of hope.

He walked into the finance office.

He tidied up the office area, replaced the trash bags, and started to get busy.

It was almost 9 o’clock.

Supervisor Zhang Chunling and cashier Wang Xin came in one after another.

Sun Youguang greeted them and continued with the routine accounting tasks.

The company’s new organizational structure had been adjusted, with clearer division of roles and effective distribution of authority.

Take the finance department as an example, there are currently three people.

Supervisor, cost accountant, cashier.

Everyone had their specific duties, well-organized and orderly.

The organizational efficiency and response speed of other departments had greatly improved.

Thinking about this, Sun Youguang couldn’t help but admire the abilities of the two bosses.

The company had developed so smoothly; this new organizational structure really deserved credit.

At 10 o’clock in the morning.

A DingTalk message suddenly popped up on his computer screen.

[HR Director – Yu Qiuguo: “Youguang, come to the HR office.”]

Sun Youguang quickly replied “Received,” stood up from his seat, and walked briskly outside.

Being approached directly by the HR director made this junior employee a bit nervous.

“Dong dong dong—”

“Please come in.”

“President Yu,” Sun Youguang looked nervously at Yu Qiuguo in front of him.

At the age of about 35 or 36, his face had faint wrinkles and he was very slim with bright eyes.

He was decisive and very charismatic.

It was said that he was a talented person poached by Knowledgeable from the largest e-commerce company in Yan City.

“Have a seat,” Yu Qiuguo pulled a stool to the side and then passed over two contracts, with a smile, “You have performed very well, President Gao spoke highly of you in the meeting last week. This is your contract for becoming a permanent employee, sign it, your regular employment will start from July.”

Sun Youguang was momentarily stunned, his face beaming with joy, “Thank you, President Yu, thank you, President Gao.”

He had truly joined the company just over two months ago, while the company’s policy was a three-month probation period.

Being made permanent early was a sign of the company’s recognition of him and meant a more stable job.

He opened the permanent contract.

Position: Accountant, contract duration: 3 years.

Base salary: 5500 yuan/month, performance pay: 1500 yuan/month.

Sun Youguang looked up in surprise and blurted out, “President Yu, this… why do I have performance pay now?”

Yu Qiuguo smiled, “In our company, the functional departments also have performance assessments after becoming permanent, and since it’s an assessment, naturally there is a bonus, it’s just that the amount varies. This was specially arranged by President Gao.”

“Oh, thank you, leadership! Thank you, company!” Sun Youguang’s cheeks were flush with excitement.

He signed and fingerprinted the contract, becoming a formal employee of the company.

Sun Youguang walked back to his desk, his heart pounding, and his body trembling slightly.

Songmei Clothing already offered very good benefits, including full social insurance and housing fund contributions, as well as communication and meal subsidies.

If calculated, his real salary was almost about 7400 yuan/month now.

In the entire Yan City finance job market, this salary was enough to be a manager in a small company.

After all, the competition is really fierce nowadays.

Sun Youguang took a deep breath and boldly sent a message to the vice president: “Thank you for President Gao’s recognition!”

“Ding dong—”

[Vice President – Gao Mengting: “Keep up the good work, strive to become a certified intermediate accountant soon. Our finance department will expand, maybe you can be promoted to supervisor in the future. (#Smile)”]

Seeing President Gao’s response, tears of excitement welled up in Sun Youguang’s eyes.

At the beginning, everyone worked in the same office area and had good relationships.

He even often chatted with President Tang and President Gao; thinking about it now, it was indeed an immense honor.

He had once mentioned that he was ready for the intermediate accountant examination in September, but didn’t expect President Gao to actually remember.

“Buzz buzz buzz—” His phone in his pocket vibrated.

“[China Merchants Bank] Your account ending in 5411 received an incoming transfer of RMB 4584.30 on July 10 at 10:19.”

His salary had been deposited!

Sun Youguang bowed his head and was silent for a while, then he opened WeChat and clicked on his girlfriend’s chat box.

First, he told her about his promotion and salary increase.

Then he messaged, “Juan’er, let’s discuss later if we have the possibility of buying a house in Yan City.”

His girlfriend was already 26 this year, and their marriage would likely happen within the next year or two.

Countless times, Sun Youguang had seen in his girlfriend’s eyes the longing and aspiration for a house here.

Moreover, house prices had dropped quite a bit, and if they both passed the intermediate accountant certification in September,

with the thriving platform of Songmei Clothing and such appreciative leaders,

maybe they really could leave their small town and settle in Yan City.

Deciding to join Songmei Clothing was truly the best decision of his life!

Sun Youguang’s face glowed as he picked up his water bottle and walked toward the pantry.

As he was about to make a cup of instant coffee, he heard a familiar voice next to him: “Brother Sun, are you making coffee? Let me make you a cup, instant isn’t good.”

“Then thanks, Lili… oh no, thanks, Yiyi.” Sun Youguang said, watching He Liting come in, and he awkwardly scratched his head.

Since the company had expanded, he had fewer chances to see He Liting, and he hadn’t yet gotten used to the new way of addressing her.

He Liting covered her mouth and giggled, “Alright, Brother Sun, let’s not be so formal with each other.”
