Chapter 611: Chapter 305: High-Spirited, [Mall Refresh Card]_2 Chapter 611: Chapter 305: High-Spirited, [Mall Refresh Card]_2 The sky outside the window displayed a soft, gray-white hue.

It was a cloudy day.

Gao Mengting stretched a big yawn and placed the book she was holding back on the mini bookshelf.

She opened the door with brisk steps.

On the living room yoga mat, Cheng Qiuyu was doing a workout.

“Good morning, Qiuyu,” Gao Mengting said with a smile.

“Senior sister, good morning!” Cheng Qiuyu exhaled and turned around.

Gao Mengting involuntarily lowered her gaze when she saw the prominent curves beneath her junior’s tight shirt.

Wearing a tank top as well, the stark contrast was quite hurtful.

She originally didn’t particularly mind this.

However, Tang Song had once joked that her bust wasn’t prominent enough which made the company clothes look really good during the live streams.

That was indeed a fact.

If her bust were larger, many fashionable, loose garments would appear bulky on her.

However, Tang Song’s casual comment stuck with her and became a nagging thought.

What the heck, isn’t a B+ cup just right?

But now, living every day with a D-cup junior made her inevitably very conscious about it.

Probably because her junior’s figure was indeed too good.

A standard comic book figure, irresistibly enviable.

…

Breakfast was simple.

Hot milk + toast + boiled eggs + small pickles.

Gao Mengting as if remembering something suddenly, slapped her forehead and said, “I forgot to tell you, our company is building a live broadcast IP, the packaging for the courier is planned to be distinctive and unique, in addition to that, there are promotional posters and so on, I’ll send you the materials later.”

Cheng Qiuyu nodded hurriedly, “Thank you, senior sister!”

This was considered a private job, quite essential for her who was strapped for cash.

Previously, to attend Su Yu’s concert, she practically emptied her savings.

Now she had rent, as well as motorcycle maintenance, fuel costs, and money for food and clothing.

After graduation, without the resources from school, she also got fewer gigs, and her financial situation was quite tense.

Otherwise, she wouldn’t have agreed to join Liu Wenning and the others in forming a temporary band, this time even cycling to the club performance.

“Friendly tip!” Gao Mengting tapped on the table and laughed, “Our company is pretty impressive now, the money will definitely be much higher than the previous LOGO design fee, charged by the design company’s standards. Perform well, and you might become a long-term partner.”

“The normal fees are fine! You gave those concert tickets to Su Yu last time, I was very grateful, I wouldn’t mind even if it wasn’t paid!” Cheng Qiuyu quickly set down her cup, her lips still smeared with white milk, her expression sincere and somewhat dazed.

“That’s a separate issue, let’s keep work professional, we typically engage professional design companies, and the price definitely won’t be lower than 30,000. I’ve talked it over with President Tang, and that’s the price we’re offering you.”

Cheng Qiuyu gasped softly, quickly shaking her head, “That’s too much! It’s not suitable!”

Like her previous design of the “Songmei Clothing LOGO,” six versions of the demo only amounted to a design fee of 1,500 yuan.

The current packaging + posters might require a lot more work, but it was not justified to be twenty times higher.

“NO! NO!” Gao Mengting fondly ruffled her hair, “This will take a long time, conservatively estimated at two to three months, with continuous updates based on customer feedback, it’s quite a tedious process. And now that you’ve graduated and are a genuine professional designer, it’s right for you to receive this amount.”

Cheng Qiuyu pursed her lips gently and hummed a soft, “Thank you.”

“No need to be polite with me, and about that White Knight band, better not to go if you can avoid it, Liu Wenning and his gang are not your kind of people.”

As they interacted and through several heart-to-hearts, Gao Mengting had come to deeply understand Qiuyu.

She had a somewhat cold nature, and actually didn’t like the bar environment.

After a moment of silence, Cheng Qiuyu said softly, “Okay, senior sister, I will try to go less in the future.”

…

8:10 in the morning.

“Knock knock knock—” the sound of knocking came.

Soon, Liu Wenning’s voice came from outside the door, “Qiuyu, it’s time to go, Moli and the others are downstairs!”

Cheng Qiuyu bid farewell to her senior sister, slung on her backpack, grabbed her helmet, and opened the door.

She waved and said, “Morning.”

“Good morning.” Liu Wenning’s eyes flashed with astonishment.

Since there was a performance at the club later, Qiuyu and the others were dressed uniformly today.

Jeans, white T-shirt, and for safety, a breathable white riding jacket thrown over.

She looked sexy and fiery.

Noticing Liu Wenning’s overly intense gaze, Cheng Qiuyu zipped up her riding jacket and headed downstairs.

Feeling her aloof attitude, Liu Wenning frowned slightly and followed her down, a hint of resentment flashing in his eyes.

Damn that damned Tang Song!

Initially, right after graduation, he and Qiuyu had gotten along very well.

Especially when he played and sang folk songs, her focused and appreciative gaze was like smoke that made him addicted.

He liked the feeling of being admired and enjoyed interacting with such simple young women.

But ever since he was detained, Cheng Qiuyu’s attitude towards him had subtly changed.

The previous admiration and worship were no longer there.

“Morning!””Morning.””Morning!”

“Wow! QQ! You look sharp today! Too cool!”

Moli moved forward enthusiastically and hugged Qiuyu.

The four chatted briefly.

They put on their gloves and helmets and mounted their motorcycles.

Accompanied by the engine’s humming, four motorcycles of different models drove out of Bamboo Stream Community, heading in the direction of Chang’an District.
