30th floor of Cloud Stream Building, Songmei Clothing.

“Put the fridge here, close to the pantry, convenient for the staff to grab things.”

“Master, please check again, the surveillance must cover every corner, and the office area will also store quite a bit of merchandise.”

“The printer shouldn’t be so close to the water dispenser…”

Today, besides Tang Song and Gao Mengting, there were seven or eight property management staff.

The office equipment, computers, and electrical appliances ordered online were arriving one after another, making the office a busy scene.

By 3 p.m., everything was finally arranged properly.

The previously empty office instantly looked full and quite presentable.

Gao Mengting walked around the office with a cheerful smile, taking pictures non-stop.

After a while, she seemed to finally settle down.

Leaning on the pink, cloud-shaped sofa, she squinted her eyes, her face showing a blissful expression.

“The office is now just as I imagined it, though not very big, it has everything we need, warm and harmonious. My favorite is the pantry, which is especially nicely decorated and has a large floor-to-ceiling window; it’s great.”

“It’ll get even better,” said Tang Song, stretching lazily and smiling down at her.

Today the partner had a sporty style.

A beige sun-protective garment, tight-fitting base layer, jeans, and a high ponytail.

Coupled with her beautiful face, she looked youthful, pretty, and sexy.

Seeming to notice Tang Song’s gaze, Gao Mengting subconsciously crossed her arms over her chest.

“Since I’m setting up the office today, I dressed casually. Don’t worry, when we interview staff tomorrow, I’ll definitely wear formal attire.”

Upon hearing this, Tang Song was startled and suddenly realized that he did not own a single outfit suitable for formal occasions.

He had bought a set of generic brand suits right after graduation.

He had hardly worn it; it was still being pressed in a box, all crumpled. Plus, he had lost quite a bit of weight, so it surely wouldn’t fit anymore.

With a crisp snap of his fingers, Tang Song spoke up, “Mengting, let’s tidy up and head to the mall; help me pick out a suitable suit. I really trust your taste in outfits.”

Gao Mengting stretched her legs out energetically and smiled, “Sure, I haven’t been shopping in a long time, I’ll go with you.”

Now that the company was registered and the office set up, she also felt much lighter.

After packing up their things and grabbing their bags, they followed Tang Song out.

While waiting for the elevator, she suddenly covered her mouth with a light laugh, “I almost forgot the important stuff, I haven’t posted on my Moments yet.”

After saying that, she took out her phone and began to use it.

A moment later, Gao Mengting gave an OK sign, “Done!”

Once on the elevator, Tang Song casually opened WeChat to check the latest updates in Moments.

The post was accompanied by a full set of 9 pictures.

Brand new notebooks and monitors, professional live broadcasting equipment, high-end cozy decor, exquisite potted plants, and the beautiful cityscape outside the glass curtain walls…

The photos were beautifully taken and looked very appealing.

Seeing this, Tang Song instantly understood her intention.

This was her way of fighting back, a counter to those who were always waiting to see her fail.

…

Cloud Stream Building is located in the center of Yan City, surrounded by bustling commerce.

The largest of these is Star Joy City, a newly built commercial complex in recent years with a commercial area of over 100,000 square meters.

Parked the car in the underground garage.

The two took the escalator up to the first floor.

On a rest day afternoon, the mall was bustling with people coming and going, and there were lively events happening in the hall organized by merchants.

Gao Mengting gently patted his arm and asked, “What price range are you looking to spend on a suit? I can help you choose a brand.”

Having worked nearby for 3 years, she was very familiar with Star Joy City.

Even the men’s clothing stores were no strangers to her.

“Price doesn’t matter, as long as it’s not too outrageous. I mainly want to pick a comfortable and good-looking suit.”

Now that he wasn’t short of money, with nearly 300,000 yuan in his account, his speech was particularly assertive.

Gao Mengting nodded, thought for a moment, and pointed in a direction, “Then let’s go to Zegna first. They have a range of prices, and the quality isn’t bad either. Plus, I think their styles will suit you more.”

“Alright, I trust your judgment.”

They walked into the dark brown storefront entrance.

Gao Mengting led him directly to the men’s suit section, her eyes sweeping over each garment.

She occasionally picked up a piece of clothing to compare against his figure.

Having worked in the clothing industry for so long, she naturally had good insights into fashion.

She quickly picked out a set for him: a gray-brown suit, a classic white shirt, and black leather shoes.

“I think this color scheme and style suit you best, and the material is pure wool, which is very comfortable to wear,” she said.

The female sales associate nearby chimed in, “100% Australian Merino wool, with fibers between 15-18 microns. Besides its excellent softness and luster, it also has great wrinkle resistance and durability.”

“Then let’s try it,” Tang Song conceded in this realm, opting to take advice.

He took the clothes and turned into the fitting room.

After carefully dressing up and making sure everything was in place, he pushed open the fitting room door and stepped out.

He stood in front of Gao Mengting and turned from side to side, smiling as he asked, “How does it feel?”

Gao Mengting looked him up and down for a good while, took a deep breath, and said, “Very handsome!”

After the effects of the Basic Body Optimization Potion, Tang Song’s body proportions were quite good, definitely fitting the description of broad shoulders, narrow waist, and long legs.

The dark suit paired with a white shirt made him look sharp, handsome, and composed.

Plus, with his charming smile, he had the aura of an elite gentleman.

The female sales associate sincerely praised, “Sir, this suit complements your skin tone and figure well, and it has a casual flair. It doesn’t look stiff at all and is very suitable for you!”

Tang Song carefully examined himself in the mirror and moved around a bit, then said definitively, “I’ll take it!”

After paying, the total came to 42,000 yuan, the most expensive piece of clothing he had ever bought in his life.

Gao Mengting’s eyes twinkled as she suggested, “Why don’t you wear this suit and walk around the mall with me? Get used to the outfit and check how comfortable it is.”

Tang Song, in his new suit, looked handsome and exuded an elite charm—just the type of guy she liked most.

She couldn’t help but make a suggestion with a bit of personal interest.

Tang Song raised his eyebrows and laughed, “Sure.”

Gao Mengting smiled widely and took the initiative to remove the tags from his suit.

They exited the Zegna store.

Tang Song pointed to the nearby Chanel boutique and said grandly, “Let’s go, partner. You’ve been working hard recently and even accompanied me to pick out clothes today. I must get you a little gift.”

Gao Mengting quickly shook her head, “No need, it’s what I should do.”

“Then just keep me company while I take a look around,” Tang Song said with a smile as he waved her on and headed for the store.

In the past, constrained by financial struggles and conservative spending habits, he had never been to such a luxury store, so he was quite curious.

Gao Mengting hesitated for a moment but still followed.

The store was spacious with high-end and sophisticated decor.

Tang Song looked around curiously and noticed several familiar figures.

Du Shaokai, HR Liu Huihui, and the receptionist Du Yuying were standing at the cosmetics counter, engaged in a lively conversation.
