Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3790  Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragon

From sidestepping, using Rumbling Laws to utterly defeat the Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragon until she soulscoured him, only three seconds passed. She performed it smoothly as though it was a dance, causing the Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragonʼs eyes to tremble heavily.

He still couldnʼt sense this womanʼs prowess, which meant she was way stronger than he had expected.

Was she an Empyrean!? Wait… this aura… was she an Emperor-Tier existence!?

While he was full of dread, Isabella extracted his memories, seeing a vast number of cruel actions towards humans while still retaining an intellect that was capable of understanding emotions and the perspectives of all sides.

At that very moment, she wanted to crush his head but kept him alive, turning back as she headed towards the settlement.

She walked into it, causing the juvenile Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragons to be alarmed as they scampered away.

She didnʼt go after them.

Instead, she visited this tribal village headʼs house. It was not a house but a wooden hut. Inside, she saw a few silhouettes mating without a care in the world. There was even someone who hadnʼt come of age yet inside, causing a chill to creep inside her soul.

Waving her hand, the wooden hut came off the ground, revealing them to her.

”Ahh!”

There was one man who reacted rather consciously while the others were still in a state of euphoria. He was naked and hiding his pathetic figure while Isabella coldly looked at him.

From the Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragonʼs memories, he knew this man had struck a deal to start this livestock village so that he could send tributes while he lived a debaucherous life. He didnʼt hesitate to sacrifice his own children and wasnʼt bothered if he was mating with his children as well.

Raising her hand, a crimson-golden palm formed right above his head.

She brought it down, crushing him into meat paste before he could make a sound.

A Mid Stage Sovereign died just like that.

The scent of blood filled the air, but it was way more calming to Isabella than the stench of disgusting bodily fluids pervading the atmosphere.

She didnʼt stop but continued to hunt down a few more conscious individuals who were perfectly aware of what they were doing, including women.

This wasnʼt the only settlement.

After a full round of heading across twenty-eight tribal settlements, she saved a total of one thousand eight hundred and ninety people.

She felt that she couldnʼt ignore it after coming this far. It took her a few hours, but eventually, she gathered all of them in one place.

Most of them were uncivilized and wild, looking at her with lecherous gazes stemming from admiration. It seemed that dual cultivation was incredibly common to them that they were offering it to her as a form of thanks. She could only feel pity for them.

Fortunately, there were some intelligent people in there as well who simply didnʼt want to partake in this madness and went as far as to castrate themselves or remove their wombs, which the Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragon used as gatherers to feed the village by making them collect resources around, whether it be ingredients or other magical beasts.

After all, it wasnʼt only Immortal Stage wildlings the Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragon consumed. He wanted Immortal Kings and above.

The ridiculous thing was about seventy percent were born immortal or transcendent, so as soon as they reached sixteen years old, they stepped into the Immortal Stage or the Transcendent Stage. Their evil ancestors possessed talent, so it could be said that they have gotten some kind of advantage.

Isabella glanced at the severed head she kept on the primitive wooden table before her.

She wasnʼt angry at him since he was a magical beast. To him, they were only meat, but to those humans, what they did was unforgivable, relegating themselves their own children to the status of cattle.

Fortunately, she had taken out her anger and managed to calm down.

However, the problem arrived on a silver platter served by herself.

What was she supposed to do with these people? Just leave them here? But since she came this far, she couldnʼt just leave them here, right?

”…”

Isabella worried about it for some time before consulting the intelligent ones. They agreed to take care of the uncivilized ones, so Isabella thought about bringing them back to some kind of town.

However, that would leave a trace unless she could successfully just drop them there.

She didnʼt know if it was a bad thing or not.

ʼI wish we still had our city…ʼ

Isabella sighed.

They had accepted refugees who had tried to escape war from the changing eras, so this was no different. However, they had no city now and would probably be forced to run repeatedly based on what Myria warned them about, so she couldnʼt just accept them.

Still, she didnʼt want to abandon them.

After some intense ruminating, she decided to keep them in her life ring for some time.

ʼWhatever… if I could no longer keep them, Iʼll sell them to slave trainers as a last resort so that they could be taken care of…ʼ

Isabella inwardly grumbled.

She had no idea what to do with them as no one would accept them. They were good for nothing, not even knowing the Sky Word Language, the basics of all. It was magical that some of them could even reach the Immortal King Stage, making her wonder if they were instinctive cultivators who feel the energy coursing through when dual cultivating.

Taking them all into her spatial ring, she looked at the emptied settlement and glared at the Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragonʼs severed head, although he was still a human head.

”Now then— will you become my slave or meet death?”

”Slave please, Empress.” The Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragon was full of emotions.

”…”

As for his beast wife and children, it seemed that they also decided to join as slaves.

The rule of survival of the fittest seems to be working in full force here, although she guessed it might also have to do with her Emperor-Tier Earth Dragon aura.

Without that, the magical beasts may have converged on her into a life-and-death battle instead of escaping.

With that over, Isabella left for the east instantly after she heard that human settlements were this way.

This place was none other than the Magical Beast Wildlands. It was west of the Great Desolate Plains.

A day later, she eventually arrived at the Great Desolate Plains and reunited with Davis, unable to believe she was far enough to be not able to communicate but close enough to eventually arrive. Shirley was also with him, which gave her double the joy, but that joy was diminished when she heard that there was no sign of Evelynn.

Since Shirley was found in the east and she was found in the west, they decided to send Tanyaʼs avatar to the south.

After the treacherous poisonous sea, there were human cities, so they must be careful.

However, little did they know that Evelynn would come from further west, appearing at the Three-Headed Hydra Border Town before making a downward arc to the Highnode Town while ignoring the Magical Beast Wildlands
