Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 1254 - Three Lovely Gains

After confirming his relationship with Niera, he returned to the underground cave to safely experience a breakthrough to the King Soul Stage without meeting Ezekiel Alstreim or anyone else. He had wanted to talk to them to see if he could take them out but talking with Niera had made him determined to take them out.

Nieraʼs emotions towards him were as confused and innocent they could be as she was a maiden in love, and that didnʼt change after they had kissed. She still looked at him with a bit of adoration and shyness that he couldnʼt help but ask why she fell in love with him.

Her answer was that she didnʼt know, and when she came to realize it, she was already feeling like wanting to make him hers in this sealed space. After all, she initially thought that there was no way out of this sealed space.

Davis couldnʼt help but laugh wryly at her answer. As expected, he was her fantasy, a strong, talented cultivator who came from the outside, which was something new to her, and even while knowing the differences between their families, she still couldnʼt help but fall in love with him.

Surely, he felt complex emotions about her the same way she felt about him. Although the love he felt for her was quite vague in the sense that it hadnʼt reached the level he had for his first three women, there was the feeling of wanting to protect her and wanting to meet her belief in him, which he wouldnʼt feel for a normal woman or any women for that matter other than his mother and little sisters.

Nevertheless, he still couldnʼt believe that he made himself three women on this particular training session that now lasted for nine months.

ʼSophie, Nadia, and Niera... Iʼm dead....ʼ

Davis couldnʼt help but chuckle wryly, feeling bothered if Evelynn and Natalya would come to accept them or not, especially if they would accept Nadia as she was a magical beast. He would be troubled if they could not accept, but he was determined to convince them, citing the vast world and whatnot.

Although it was incredibly selfish of him, he didnʼt know what else to do other than justifying this way, and the awareness of it made him feel like shit. Sometimes, he wished that he was a sc.u.m instead of a caring person so that he can act as he wished, but in the case of his loved ones, he felt like he could never act like that.

ʼAlright, setting these disgusted emotions of myself aside, I still have to perform a breakthrough to the King Soul Stage. Fortunately, the Solitary Soul Avatar had become a Peak-Level King Grade Alchemist a week ago, and after I reconnected in the Lightning Sea, today, my comprehension had reached that level.ʼ

Davis couldnʼt help but smile, ”Now I can make the Prismatic Soul Resonance Pill...”

”Whatʼs that, Davis?” Nadia suddenly echoed from beside as she simply stared at him for a while.

The way she was now, she couldnʼt help but be more open to her feelings as well as lazy because she had already reached her peak in terms of what she could reach. Peak-Level King Beast Stage was her limit, and further improvement was for her to mutate again, which was right now unknown.

Davis turned to look at her as he spoke, ”Thatʼs something that would allow me to comprehend Peak-Level Supreme Soul Stage comprehension, hopefully...”

”Oh, but isnʼt your soul force already at the level of Mid-Level Eighth Stage...?” Nadia blinked as she doubtfully asked.

”Haha, I meant that since my cultivation pace is fast, I have to comprehend more compared to others to keep my foundation stable.”

”Oh... You did ask Sophie about Soul Forging Cultivation. So it was for this...” Nadia nodded her head in understanding.

Davis laughed and turned his head back with a stiff smile, feeling that it was quite careless of him. Even if he could tell her, he felt that it might affect her negatively, so he had no choice but to lie.

Nevertheless, taking out the cauldron and the necessary ingredients he collected in the Dark Thunder Island like the Prismatic Lightning Arc Herb and other ingredients, he began to refine them and threw them into the cauldron or did the vice versa for certain other ingredients.

Some were required to be squashed, powdered, broke down into little particles, while others did not. Every ingredient has a special way to be refined, and so every pill recipe was unique that without countless experiments and knowledge, it would be difficult to create a pill recipe.

Davis, who possessed the Prismatic Soul Resonance Pill Recipe, was able to perceive it to its initials and followed the concocting methods in it to a precise manner.

The amount of soul force he used to use soul flames and refine every ingredient in the cauldron till the final concoction did not even reach ten percent, and the time he took was less than an hour as he finished concocting the pill with his soul force comparable to Mid-Level King Soul Stage.

Everything instantly became easier for him that Davis looked at the pill with three glowing arcs of lightning swirling around the pill with a bit of dumbfoundedness. It appeared extremely special for a moment before the glow faded, replaced by the three dull colors of red, blue, and green.

However, the reason he was dumbfounded remained in the fact that he was easily able to create such a thing without even having to break a sweat while he cast his gaze towards the remaining seven pills that were floating above the cauldron.

”Seven Advanced-Tier Pills...” Davis uttered in disbelief before he cast his gaze back to the pill he held, uttering again in deep disbelief, ”Perfect-Tier Pill...?”

Davis was not sure, but recognizing that its efficacy and aura was larger than the other seven pills, he could help but arrive at the fact that it was a Perfect-Tier Prismatic Soul Resonance Pill!

After the feeling of disbelief faded, rabid excitement began to swell in his heart and soul, thinking that with this Perfect-Tier Pill, he could definitely comprehend what he lacked in the comprehension of heaven and earth energy in terms of the soul!

ʼI really became powerful... huh...ʼ Davis thought as he clenched his palm.

Obvious as it could be, when the effects became apparent in reality, it caused him to feel that all that time spent on training was worth it.

He inwardly heaved a glad sigh and kept all of the remaining seven pills he had concocted into a tiny bottle before popping the Perfect-Tier Prismatic Soul Resonance Pill into his mouth, feeling it slide down his throat before it started to quickly dissipate like vapor.

As Davis closed his eyes, his eyes squinted, wondering where all the efficacy had gone before his entire being suddenly felt a chill. The next moment, it was as if he was taking submerged in a volcano as he felt incredibly hot, feeling that his body was going to explode before everything became calm as a ripple less lake.

To him, the surroundings became dead calm, including Nadiaʼs soft breathing.

He instantly entered a strange state where he was able to connect with the heaven and earth energy while his soul force simultaneously began to extend as it resonated. Comprehension kept flowing through him like a tide. It was as if he wasnʼt comprehending, but the heaven and earth energy was forcefully making him comprehend, although he felt that his comprehension was just as much as the aid he received.

Time passed.

Davis opened his eyes after a few hours passed. There were no signs of a phenomenon, but Davis knew that he was now at the extreme peak of the Peak-Level Supreme Soul Stage. Moreover, he felt that it was possible for him to comprehend King Soul Stage comprehension now.

He felt as soon as he entered the King Soul Stage, it was possible for his comprehension to level up as well, but to increase the chances, he quickly took out the records of King Soul Stage comprehension Old Man Garvin left behind for him.

A contained appeared, and from it, he began taking out numerous scrolls containing the comprehension of King Soul Stage. Davis decided to give himself a month in order to take in all of this cryptic information.

As he read, he became more and more understanding of why many people did not manage to become Soul Kings. It was because of the extensive discrepancy of where the soul of a King Soul Stage experiences a massive change that allows them to tower over the masses just by sending their soul forces out without having it even change into a technique of pressure.

It was similar to bloodline suppression of magical beasts, but especially to people of oneʼs own blood. They could not help but feel reverence from deep inside their soul when faced with a King Soul Stage ancestor like they were nothing more than ants.

ʼEven the Heavens depict that seniority and strength is power... Hierarchy, huh...ʼ

Davis understood that this was the basis of a large family. If people naturally felt reverence towards their ancestors, everyone would be compelled to follow their ancestors from the depths of their soul. No wonder he felt that he would be able to enslave millions of people when he became a King Soul Stage Cultivator. It was because of this change where it towers over ordinary people.

A King indeed!

Perhaps, only Supreme Soul Stage Experts and Eighth Stage Experts in the other two cultivations can resist this passive feeling of reverence, and now that he thought about it, the soul slowly grows from Nascent Soul Stage to the Ninth Stage, the Emperor Soul Stage!

The meaning of Emperor was rather clear, the ruler of Kings! Perhaps, even Soul Kings would only be able to resist a bit over feeling reverence towards Soul Emperors!

Davis increasingly became addicted to learn and comprehend as he finished reading Old Man Garvinʼs initial records of King Soul Stage.
