The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 323: True intentions

Yes, she transformed, but not to her current appearance, but to the human form she had before her demonic growth phase with black hair and golden eyes.

I don’t quite understand what she’s going for with this whole couple thing, to the point of showing me part of what she really looks like, just to get me to stop using her appearance to reject her.

But I want to believe that I know her at least a little bit, and everything in me screams that this is one of her devious plans.

There is no real interest here. Just some hidden intention; he wants to use me for something other than what he is asking me for.

I too thought he was just refusing to let me tell him my secret, because of his stubbornness and pride , but it seems that even from third parties like me he refuses to get the straight answer.

’So it’s okay if it’s indirect as usual?’

’that’s why she was asking about the relationship between us?’

’Or has she already found the answer?’

’or does she think I don’t know so much?’

’well let’s get to the bottom of this, Elena didn’t praise me for nothing.’

”If I’m this pretty, you’d go out with me without asking, right?”

”Pff.... well, now I know you can disguise yourself, but it’s still a disguise. I know I’m very handsome and irresistible, but just give up. You and I are not meant to be. If you’re so desperate for a boyfriend, why don’t you try Ivan? Maybe he’ll buy into that disguise and-”

”Grrrr! This is my real appearance, you fool! The Aurora you see every day is the disguise! Besides, who’d want to date a shallow like that idiot?”

”And so am I as I said there is and a minimum standard and I don’t think that’s your true appearance. Give me proof.”

”You’re just a womanizer! Why are you suddenly playing hard to get, you idiot?”

”Huh? What did you say? I don’t date just anyone! All my girls are cuties that I love with all my heart, and my heart tells me that you just want my body, you selfish woman.”

”...Who wants your body? You keep playing games, I told you to take me seriously.”

”I am, I really am! Now I’m starting to believe you really are a man, with that kind of taste and all as proof. You’re having fun fooling us with your real gender. What bad taste, what a bad way to use your skill!”

”Damn right! You keep playing dumb, this is going nowhere. Fine, I’ll show you how serious I am. I know you know anyway, because your girlfriends know it too. here’s my true appearance!”

She was already starting to lose her patience, and just then I noticed that she deactivated her entire transformation, even the artifacts I had given her.

Now she was really showing her true demonic hybrid form: black hair, pink locks, heterochromatic eyes -one pink and one gold-, horns and tail.

’Let’s see... in this situation, I should...’

”...Oh no! A demon infiltrated replacing Aurora! Damn, Aurora must have died! Damn it, you died so young...and I think a virgin too. I swear I’ll take revenge for you!”

”Are you done? ”눈_눈

”...Yes.”

Well, I wanted to keep playing dumb, but she looked at me very piercingly and menacingly.

For a moment, my instincts told me that it would be really bad to continue, so I’d better stop.

Under her intense gaze, I sat back down, but really... I guess it’s true: if the twins know, it’s no wonder I do too.

’hum, but for him to show me his demonic appearance at this dangerous time...’

’although, following your logic, I should know. Still, there was some risk that I wouldn’t know.’

’Will she want to use her charm?’

”Haa~ Why are you two equally dumb...? I imagine you know all about me, right? I don’t know what kind of relationship you two have exactly, but I have to assume you know as much as your girlfriends, at least.”

I thought there was something fishy going on when she seemed surprised at my rejection, but it seems she was coming with the premise that she already knew everything, huh? Still, it seemed like she was hesitant to show herself fully, because I played dumb.

She stopped being cautious though because she lost her patience.

’well, I guess now it’s like a restart, a new starting point. Let’s go with the initiative.’

”Alright, Aurora! Miss half-demon, transvestite princess, terrorist? what’s the point of all this? If, as you thought, I already know everything, now tell me: what do you know and what do you want? At least by coming to see me and confirming that I know so much...”

”Yes, I knew you knew everything, and you kept playing ignorant.”

”Hey, wouldn’t it be easier for you to go straight to your purpose by just charming me? Why don’t you do it now that you’re good... pretty?”

That made me curious. If she already revealed that she’s half-demon anyway, why not use that ability that -if I had to say so- is very good, and a key characteristic of her race?

”Do you think I’m dumb? If you already know so much about me and you’re not nervous, it obviously wouldn’t work. Besides, you’re blessed by Aeloria. It’s well known that regardless of blessing, everyone is resistant or even invulnerable to things like enchantment.”

Well, his reasoning is logical. But right now I’m a doppelgänger who is already using morphogenesis, so if she does, I think that quite possibly - along with her beauty and adding the fact that I like her - I would fall very easily.

She could easily achieve her goal if she did. Well, she’s the one who missed the opportunity.

Likewise, my main self would forcibly remove me from this doppelgänger if she thinks it’s necessary.

”Well, it looks like we’re being honest, right? Tell me what you want and why you’re telling me nonsense from the beginning.”

”Fine. First swear to me by the name of your goddess that you have no relationship with Seraphina. For a blessed one like you there is nothing worse for your future than lying by doing that.”

”Why all the spinning, is that really necessary?”

”Yes.”

”Huh? Well... I swear it. And let my goddess be witness: between me and Seraphina there is no relationship. May, as her blessed one, her divine punishment befall me if I lie.”

”...”

What I said is of little use and there will be no repercussions, nor will Aeloria listen to me, with my protection, whether it is true or not, but this did not seem to move forward if I did not say it.

She showed her demonic side even with the risk, so even if it sounds like she’s asking me nonsense or just plotting something-which may still be the case-it must be something more serious than I thought.

”Hum, but... Aurora, I’m going to be honest with you: are you asking me on a date with you because of Seraphina’s secrets and what we’re up to, and why I was able to make that oath, even if it sounds contradictory. If so, as I said before I will tell you, no problem, so you don’t have to do this”.

If my fun forces her to do things like this, I’d rather stop. It stops being fun when it starts to affect them negatively.

If she’s asking to date someone she really doesn’t like just for information, it’s best not to continue.

”I already told you it’s not necessary. It’s enough for me to know that you don’t really have any cooperative or plotting relationship. Although... it still doesn’t seem that simple. I assume you’re bound by some kind of contract. I don’t think you can say much to begin with.”

”Hum, not really. I told you I can tell you what’s going on...”

”No, I understand. You’ll probably tell a lie, which she prepared for a moment like this. She’s very thorough. My situation is similar. We have a sort of contractual connection, but we don’t have a relationship per se. You don’t need to tell me anything. I just want us to formalize a relationship.”

’No, Aurora, what do you mean we don’t have a relationship? That hurts my heart.’

’She really wouldn’t trust even if we told her the truth.’

’We ruined her by teasing her so much.’

’I’m not even that meticulous, am I?’

’I thought she might have really gotten it right, about the secret and came to check it out.’

’She doesn’t seem to, and she still sees us as separate entities.’

’Or is she just feigning ignorance?’

’Damn... she’s mean too. Maybe she’s toying with us, out of revenge.’

’She’s learned to disguise her lies better... I’d have to make contact to know.’

’And why the hell is she bringing up the relationship thing, what’s that got to do with it?’

’If we accept...maybe her goal is to create conflict with Seraphina?’

’She wants to use me to cause jealousy myself, is that new?’

There were so many thoughts, but in the end I was getting tired of this game of intrigue between us, so I better decided to be more direct.

”Hey, but... why do we always come back to that, what does it have to do with everything else? Besides, over there I heard that you like women. Especially Seraphina, with whom you’re about to start a relationship. I don’t understand your point.”

”Yes... I knew you knew so much, that’s why you didn’t take me seriously. I should have been direct from the beginning. Okay, I’ll be honest. Everything you said is true, and I understand your skepticism. Still... it’s not as simple as you said.”

”...”

’uhm, considering that shelikes me (Seraphina) .... so is it to make me jealous, is this really all about that, is that why her questions about...’

’No!? More importantly, did she just accept that she likes me!? She did say that, didn’t she?’

’Oh, it’s true! She said it clearly, didn’t she?’

’hey don’t get distracted, that’s basically a statement.’

’holy shit, it’s true’
