The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 319: Secondary mission

”Who’s the crazy bastard who’s using Tharothan powder to poison!!! Fuck, are they idiots!!!?”

I finally remembered that there was one material that did have that skill among the ones I knew.

But it is a material that no one, who knows what they are doing, would use for that, it was just a secondary reaction of that material, it was like someone using pepper just to make someone else sneeze instead of making a delicious plate of food.

No, that analogy is an understatement, You’d have to be crazy, it’s so valuable, and I want it too, and they’re using it as a poison! Just to incapacitate!!, These wasteful sons of bitches will pay me back!

’oh!!, but I can extract it from the drinks... some will go to waste, but it’s better than nothing.’

I was pissed, but I thought it was an opportunity to get some rare and useful material, for many plans.

I had previously had from Willian’s legacy but had totally used it during my investment in Ciel.

’well Ciel must have an skill that will help me and with my purification we can do it.’

’I’m going to get my hands on those drinks.’

”Hey, hold still! Don’t think you’ll escape. You have some explaining to do.”(Dante)

My father, who made his way to my side at some point, put his hand on my shoulder. It seems he will follow what my father-in-law asked him to do. Well, I’m not too worried about it.

Thanks to the demon’s memories I already know how to deal with him.

”By the way, you’re from the Silvercrest, right?”

”Yes.” (Dante)

It was a simple and curt answer, different from what I’m used to hearing. Well, if he always acted like a fool it would be too much.

”That guy also had something planned for you and your daughter? ugh! Hey, wait! My shoulder! You’re gonna smash it! Hey, stop, stop-!”

”Wait, Dan, don’t get out of control. Let him talk.”(leonora)

”You tell me, what did you mean? Hurry up!” (Dante)

”Hey, I was going to say it. Now I don’t want to... ugh! Fine, I’ll say it! Let me go, you’ll wreck my shoulder! I’m just saying that they were also planning to kidnap your daughter to keep you in...”

I was about to explain to him what was going to happen, but suddenly he disappeared. I didn’t have time to think anymore, because at that moment....

”Ugh!”

”Hey, you! What do you mean, what happened to my daughter, what happened to Phina, talk!”

”Ughhh!”

That’s what I want to do, damn it. Why are they so impulsive? They won’t even let me talk.

It wasn’t that bad... it was just that the demons were planning to attack with everything. I even saw that there was a plan to kidnap... me, to keep my father in check during the situation.

They even had a backup plan: if they failed to get me, they would use one of the artifacts to have a demon pretend to be me. At least for a moment, to confuse my father.

If I wasn’t in the crosshairs and was somewhere else, it would sow doubt and make him fall for one of their plans to finish him off.

Those two points were the only thing this guy knew. He was the one who planted the bombs and was informed of what would happen next, so he would have the opportunity to kidnap me.

These four would be in charge of kidnapping me during the chaos. So my main self was now relatively safe.

Although these demons were stronger than their equals in rank, I still would have beaten them to a pulp if they came after me. It seems they don’t know all my skills.

”ugh!! gh”

And even though she just scolded my father for not letting me talk, my mother was even worse... she wouldn’t even let me breathe.

My father went to look for me. Which won’t happen easily, because I was in a corner, under the veil of a spell Elena created with all her power.

I wanted to explain a little, but I could not. I had to ask for help, or rather, wonder what that idiot is doing looking at me without understanding.

’Hey, you! Stop looking at me like a fool and help me!’

’huh? Oh, I’m sorry. I was just wondering... now that you’re living it, you can feel our mother’s rank, can’t you?’

’Damn, I don’t know. Her strength feels like about 1000 or so.... Ugh, between the tenth and eleventh rank. Mind you, she’s not holding back... agh, just help me!’

’Yes, I’m coming!’

I don’t know how strong my mother is, as she has never emitted aura or mana of any kind, and I can’t make an approximation.

While genuinely curious, I’d rather that idiot Number 1 intervene quickly.

Although, literally, that’s what I would do if we were in reverse positions. I was always curious.

”This...Ms. Leonora, I think you should let him speak. You may wish to say something urgent.”

”...right”

”Cough! It was just to tell you that they were planning to kidnap your daughter, but in case they couldn’t use her, they’d use a fake one instead to put that old man in check. So I would recommend...get her safe with the rest of the girls and don’t get fooled later. By the way, I saw them in the north wing, in the gazebo near the lotus lake.”

I spoke quickly, almost running, so I wouldn’t get strangled again, If I didn’t make the information clear... I even gave them my current position so they could go looking for me.

It was better to be near my mother or father.

”Got it, thank you. If everything you say is true, we Silvercrest will be very grateful to you.”

She thanked me, and also left. It seems they both forgot that my father-in-law left them looking after me.

Well, that was my goal anyway... I just didn’t think it would be that easy.

Well, I’ve finished my part, now I’m just going.

”Wait, are you really my brother?”(William)

”...”

’What should I answer? I was just talking nonsense so that my father wouldn’t make me intantania kil’.

”Rather, now that they are gone, shouldn’t we worry about the unconscious demons?”(Ban)

”Oh, that’s a very good observation, Ban!”(Chris).

That’s right, that’s better than wondering if the nonsense I said is true like Willian.

”Oh, Chris, how long have you been here?”(Tharen).

All of a sudden some weird guy is talking to my dooplganger I feel like I’ve seen him before....oh!!!

”Hey, who are you...? Oh, yeah, minion number three?... Ethan?.” (Chris)

”Damn! It’s Tharen.” (Tharen)

I was close, the fucker has no distinguishing features, I think they have the legendary ability to be easily forgotten. I, in his place, would harness it for the greater good...like world peace or something like that.

”Yeah, whatever. A moment ago I was having a ’chat’ with my father-in-law and.... Glowed the explosions, and here we are. Those demons were out of luck.” (Chris)

If I think about it, leaving aside why William and the others were here, and it was the reason we gathered, it was lucky, that my father, mother and father-in-law - who are among the most powerful - were around.

In fact even I, who am the only one who could extract information from him in a short period of time, was nearby, it was a stroke of luck

if we were inside the castle, unless you were looking out the window or from the balcony, we wouldn’t have noticed any of William’s glow.

I knew there was going to be a toast and the instructors recommended not to go out. But I didn’t care, and I did it anyway, because I could, and I didn’t want to be inside with the nobles.

That’s why Lys asked me if it was allowed when I asked her to leave. Well yes, we could go out... but staying inside would have been the prudent thing to do.

Anyway, starting with us, followed by Tristan, then my father and mother tracking each other, and running towards me.

and my father-in-law looking for a secluded place to talk to me... and hit me, even though we are not in the labyrinth we are in a place where we noticed the glow and we got the sound of explosion.

all the right people were in the worst possible place for the demons, it was all bad luck for them... or maybe it was William’s luck at work.

”Yeah, well, take care of these demons and get to a safe place. I’m off. By the way, little brother, if you want to know the truth, look for me at the top of Yggdrasil. I’ll be waiting for you.”

”No, wait... Are you really my-?”(William).

It was better not to waste any more time and I already had something to do while I was away, so I stopped using morphogenesis. Since I put on a mask some time ago, they didn’t notice.

I used shadow assimilation and disappeared, but not before giving William a secondary mission,.... although if I think about it, getting there is more like the main mission.

Well, small details, it was just to annoy him for asking me silly questions.

*****

”Hey, he disappeared!!!” (Mike).

”ugh!, Mike, stop yelling about anything silly!”

I had to complain. After all, he was right next to me. That guy is always unnecessarily loud.

”Don’t you think this situation is bad? He looked like someone suspicious. The Minister of Defense said he had to be held. Chris, why didn’t you stop him?”(Ivan).

”Why should I? This doesn’t concern me. We are just students for now. Leave such things to those whose business it is. Besides, he seemed to be Willian’s brother, didn’t you see him? He’s obviously one of the good guys.” (Chris)

”hey that’s stupid, that guy was definitely wearing some kind of disguise like demons!” (Ban)

”Another good but unnecessary observation, Ban. Well, who cares if it was a disguise, let’s just take these fainters and hand them over. Let’s leave the rest to the right people. It’s not our place to meddle. Unless someone here wants to play hero.”

I said looking at Willian specifically, but he just looked thoughtful. i caught that he was mumbling something that i didn’t understand , so i moved closer to hear what it was, and....

~”I have an older brother....Yggdrasil..hum” (Willian)

”...”

I wonder if having done that will earn me a smack from Elena later on....

’Well if she finds out, I’ll just say the situation warranted it.’

Putting aside this nonsense, I wanted to see where Lily and the twins were, and see if they were okay.

It looked like the situation could be controlled now that the Minister of Defense was doing his job, but I want to at least be near them you never know.
