The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 318: Did he let himself get NTR’d?

’Damn... He really is a magnet for trouble, but this time it was a great piece of luck.’

I couldn’t help but groan and, at the same time, internally thank William for the situation that suddenly formed.

I was there because I was part of the plan my principal self set in motion when I saw the light of what I now know was William, shining as a distraction...just as I taught him.

I was already prepared for Elena to pull me out of the dimensional stone where I tend to be most of the time.

It was one of the many plans we had ready in case of a terrorist attack. Elena even cast a concealment spell on me and on the way, I changed my appearance to that of William.

I prepared myself just in case... and it was indeed happening.

William never ceases to amaze me. Like an insect to the light, he was drawn to this.

Although, come to think of it, the oddest thing was that with his luck he didn’t have an active role in the previous situations.

But, although I understood the situation, at first I saw no need to intervene. I just watched from just over halfway through the confrontation.

I thought I wouldn’t have to do anything. William and the others seemed to be able to handle it; they didn’t look that strong enemies.

But I realized that the demons were executing a more complex plan..... This looked like it was going to drag on , and he didn’t seem able to stop it. And, most importantly, the girls were there.

Since he couldn’t figure it out quickly, I will. I hate to spread things out unnecessarily, and I didn’t see why stay on the sidelines if I could avoid an accident that would affect the girls.

And well them being my friends, I wasn’t going to stand by and watch, although I planned to do it in secret.

However, due to William’s thunderous and showy final attack, my parents-who were nearby-arrived. I had no choice but to reveal myself-that was better than being killed for being suspicious.

They are both powerful-at least I know my father is-and he could discover me even with Elena’s concealment spell.

But I had forgotten that I had William’s face. With his face, I could always get out of any inconvenience...even if I got caught.

Now, however, that we’re both in the same place, it became awkward. I can no longer impersonate him as I had planned.

The reason I blathered on about being brothers was because I saw that I could use that mistake to my advantage and baffle them...at least long enough for my father to hesitate longer and make my point clear, and thus buy the time needed to cast the soul-reading spell.

I was worried that my father would attack with his rank; I wouldn’t even notice thankfully thanks to my foolishness or I couldn’t finish doing what I was originally going to do secretly.

Finally, the memories of this guy-who obviously wasn’t going to cooperate-came to me as the forbidden spell destroyed his mind. Such is the fate of the uncooperative.

His rank, just like mine, didn’t help him, and it was easy... even though I was just a doppelgänger.

Uhm... let’s see. This is a collaboration between two demonic realms. Well, three, if you count the very wounded ”Eternal Night”, which collaborated with the artifacts left behind by Aurora’s mother-now I found out she was the empress of that realm-before she died.

So I guess the voice I heard from the other side that time... was from the king I severely wounded.

’Did he let himself get NTR’d because of the infiltration? And what was their objective? Did they achieve it? Or was their thing just something that happened afterward? Hm, well, not that I care.’

He was not king by strength but by lineage; he was barely in the ninth metamorphosis. He was only saved by the absurd amount of defensive artifacts he had.

I finally read everything I thought was important in this plan and discarded the rest, obviously when I finished the guy went down with his mind destroyed, it’s no better than being dead.

I looked to the front and saw two new additions Who arrived at the moment that, I was reading the memories of the guy, one was the minister of defense-my father-in-law-and the other, was my doopelganger number 1.

who was in the middle of the combat against my father-in-law when the explosions and light sounded.

’ You lost?’

I said it because he looked more beaten up than my father-in-law and hadn’t been paying attention to his side.

’Hey! The battle was interrupted! Besides, that guy has at least eight metamorphoses in physical strength, ... and on top of that he used magic to strengthen himself! Cowardly!’’

’Yeah, yeah, whatever you say. Luckily this happened, we were spared a beating. Oh now that I see who gave you the grandiose idea of rubbing it in that his daughter called us daddy?’

’Well, I got a little excited... Anyway, let’s get this over with quickly. Oh, and put on a mask.’

’Oh, right. So I can... good...’

I followed what number one told me and took out a mask from my storage. I always wore them, and this time I put on the Ant-Man one... although now I’m a little dreading being suddenly pierced by something. Good thing I’m a doppelgänger.

”Thanks for waiting. Okay, I’ll give a quick explanation of what I got.”

”First of all... who are you, boy, why did you look so much like young William, what did you do to that demon?”(Cedric)

”Ahem..Minister of Defense, you’re late for explanations. Anyway, I’m William’s long lost brother, separated at birth by a tragic fate...”

’Hum... I feel that sounds very cliché. I should think of something better.’

’But why do you keep going on about separated siblings?’

’That’s right... let’s better skip that.’

”My appearance doesn’t matter. Leaving that aside... Here’s a diagram of the place with the bomb zones marked.”

I quickly made an illusion with the diagram of the castle and all its grounds that was in the subject’s head-marking the bomb locations-and showed it to my father-in-law.

The demons’ plan was to activate the bombs, generate chaos, and use that damn teleportation technology, which I’m already getting tired of, to bring in some high-ranking demons when the barrier fell or was failing.

Maybe this realm doesn’t have anti-space barriers, but it does have detector barriers, offensive artifacts, and other things that give it a huge territorial advantage. It would not be easy to invade.

If they simply showed up, even with their most powerful elite, they would be easily bombed and suppressed, so even if one has magical space magic technology that kind of method is not feasible.

But with bombs, they would disable much of the defense... replicating and going even further than what I did with the Realm of Eternal Night.

Sure, I was lucky enough to self-destruct at a critical and central point in the barriers. But still, both the one surrounding the castle and the entire capital would be damaged enough to be unable to maintain a firm defensive posture.

”These plans of the castle... this is confidential information.”(Cedric).

”Well not so much, it was in that guy’s head. If I were you I’d look for who leaked this. You know, for something like this to happen is because someone is not doing their job well as Minister of Defense.”

”...” (Cedric)

”And here what they plan to do next. Well, that’s it. You, as Minister of Defense, take care of the rest.”

I gave him a green gem that contained the plan following the explosions and the coordinates where you would appear, the demons that would teleport, basically I gave him everything I quickly analyzed from that demon’s memories.

It really is a bit annoying all this unilateral use of space technology, so as an extra I also put things to avoid the use of space artifacts and such, I no longer want problems and I want my life quiet in the academy, these bastards will probably make one or more moves later, I hope this will avoid it.

I think it won’t affect his karma, since I’m the one giving them to him and because of how suspicious it is for demons to have it.

Well, if they are able to find the materials to create the barriers, it’s up to them.

”Oh, by the way, they will explode in eleven minutes and twenty-three seconds. If I were you I’d hurry up and stop looking dubiously at me.”

”Ugh! Damn! I have to make sure of this. I hope it’s true. Dante, keep an eye on this suspicious guy. Until he comes back, don’t let him get away.” (Cedric)

My father-in-law seemed in a hurry because of everything I told him. And in fact, he should be running like he had fire in his pants instead of doubting me.

”Wait, you are the Minister of Defense. Please also stop Her Majesty’s speech. We heard that the drinks are adulterated. They say that by drinking them, they will stagnate the magic power.”(Willian)

”Damn, that too! Well, that situation is urgent. I’ll be mobilizing. I’ll leave it in your care.” (Cedric)

With that, my father-in-law left. Truth be told, I realized I overlooked that I said I just concentrated on what this guy had to do, maybe another demon was the one who did that.

It seems that before I came along, as talkative villains had already blurted out some things Willian is especially good at being in the right place at the right time for these things.

I’d really like to see if it’s a skill, or if this idiot is just an accumulation of good karma, well right now I don’t have available to use my eyes of lust and I probably can’t see anything as usual....

”Hmm... But something capable of stopping the magical flow...”

That also made me a little curious now that I think about it. I wondered: what substance could do something like that? It couldn’t be poison, since there are barriers against that as well.

It couldn’t be an artifact either, so it had to be a material that, in itself, was not considered a poison and that the stagnation was more beneficial than malicious.

But I couldn’t think of anything... among all my memories, none had that as a main attribute and I couldn’t see how stagnation could be a good thing.

’well it’s not like I know everything, maybe there’s a ma.... wait!!!’
