Chapter 1097: Chapter 1097: The Demon Child’s Daughter

Only after hearing his mother’s words did Ye Fei finally feel relieved. However, he still held her hand, staying by her side. As for his poor newborn daughter, he had completely forgotten about her.

Ye Fei had forgotten, but Liu Yiru, the mother, was brimming with maternal love. After the baby was born, she was taken away by Dongfang Ruolan to be cleaned up. Liu Yiru hadn’t even had a chance to take a look at her.

”Quick, bring the baby over here so I can see her,” Liu Yiru said eagerly. In truth, with her physique and cultivation, she could have easily gotten up and even practiced some boxing right after giving birth. But she knew how anxious her son was about her, so she didn’t make any big movements and just sat up.

Dongfang Ruolan walked over with a smile, handing the tiny baby to Ye Fei while saying, ”Here you go, take a look at this little miracle of yours. She’s quite special.”

Special? Of course, she was. What baby doesn’t cry at birth? But when Ye Fei took his daughter into his arms and looked at her with his mother, he realized that her uniqueness went far beyond that. He was stunned for a moment.

Even though Ye Fei had never seen a newborn baby before, he knew that most babies were born with wrinkled faces that took some time to smooth out. But his daughter’s skin was already smooth and plump.

Her eyes were wide open, curiously looking at her parents. Her big, bright eyes, high nose, and small mouth were all strikingly similar to Liu Yiru’s.

Moreover, unlike other newborns who had big heads and small bodies, this little girl was perfectly proportioned. If it weren’t for the lack of hair on her head and the parts of her body that hadn’t fully developed yet, she would have looked like a mini version of Liu Yiru.

In other words, this tiny newborn had already been born with the most perfect appearance. Just imagine how stunning she would be when she grew up!

”Wow, she’s so beautiful!”

At that moment, the other women entered and gathered around Ye Fei and Liu Yiru to look at the baby. They couldn’t help but exclaim in unison.

”So pretty, no wonder she’s the daughter of Mom and Brother!” Ye Yunqi was even more straightforward in her praise. Then she asked, ”By the way, Mom, Brother, what are you going to name her?”

Ye Fei smiled and replied without hesitation, ”I’ve already thought of a name. Let’s call her Ye Liuer.”

The name was something Ye Fei had come up with on his own, without consulting anyone. When he said it, the women all fell silent for a moment, each with their thoughts.

Liu Yiru was filled with happiness, while the others were extremely envious.

The name ”Ye Liuer” might seem ordinary, but its significance was far from it. Just with this name, Ye Fei and Liu Yiru were tightly connected.

The daughters of the other women might not have such an honor, especially Liu Fengyi and Liu Junyi. It wasn’t like their daughters could all be named Ye Liuer, too.

However, while they were envious, no one felt jealous of Liu Yiru. Everyone knew in their hearts who Ye Fei loved the most. If Liu Yiru had been selfish, they wouldn’t have even had the chance to be with Ye Fei. In other words, they were all sharing Liu Yiru’s man.

Among the women, Ye Yunqi was the youngest and the most childlike. She hadn’t even thought about having children, so her feelings were the least affected. She was the first to respond, blinking her big eyes and looking at the baby in Ye Fei’s arms with great longing. She asked cautiously, ”Brother, can I hold her?”

”Sure, no problem,” Ye Fei replied with a smile, handing the baby to his younger sister.

Ye Yunqi gently took the naked baby and held her in her arms. The more she looked at her, the more she loved her. She couldn’t help but tease her, ”Little Liuer, you’re so beautiful and cute. Come on, say...”

She stopped abruptly, then made a face and looked at her mother and brother, asking, ”Should she call me sister or aunt?”

Hearing this, everyone was a bit puzzled. Calling her ”sister” made sense, since Ye Liuer and Ye Yunqi shared the same mother. But since Ye Liuer’s father was also Ye Yunqi’s brother, calling her ”aunt” seemed right too.

”Let’s go with ’aunt’,” Liu Yiru finally decided. ”Although we are mother and daughter, we are all now your brother’s women. Once married, we follow the husband, so it makes sense to center our relationships around our man.”

The other women nodded in agreement, thinking Liu Yiru made perfect sense. Since they were all Ye Fei’s partners and loved him dearly, it was only natural to put him at the center of their relationships.

Ye Yunqi finally settled on the title and giggled as she spoke to the baby in her arms, ”Little Liuer, come on, call me ’aunt.’”

Ye Yunqi just wanted to play with the beautiful baby, who looked just like her mother.

To everyone’s surprise, as soon as she finished speaking, the tiny infant opened her mouth and said, ”Aunt.” Her voice was incredibly delicate, but her pronunciation was surprisingly clear.

This shocked everyone. The little girl was just too extraordinary. Not only was she different from other children, but she could speak right after being born. Could she be a reincarnation of some kind of spiritual child?

Ye Fei and the other women tested her a bit more and finally breathed a sigh of relief. Although the baby could speak and call out ”mommy” and ”daddy,” and even seemed to recognize who was talking to her, she didn’t seem to have any real thinking ability. She was just like a parrot, repeating whatever she was taught.

Apart from her ability to speak, the newborn girl was also extraordinary in other ways.

Out of curiosity, Ye Yunqi placed her on the bed to see if she could walk.

At first, she wobbled a bit, but within moments, she was walking steadily. She seemed to know who she was closest to and walked straight to Liu Yiru, nestling into her arms.

At the same time, she reached out a tiny hand and grasped Ye Fei’s big hand, as if trying to connect the three of them tightly as a family.

Seeing her daughter snuggle into her arms, Liu Yiru knew she must be hungry. She gently lifted her clothes, revealing a breast that was fuller than usual. She guided the nipple to her daughter’s little mouth.

Nursing is an instinct for all mammals, including humans, so no one needed to teach Little Liuer. She opened her mouth, took her mother’s nipple, and began to suckle gently.
