Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1071: Chapter 1071: Wishing for Her Failure

As they stepped outside, Ye Fei and Ye Ningxue saw three people standing not far from the door. Among them were Senior Master Jingxu and Miao Chan, whom Ye Fei had just parted with not long ago.

The third person was a nun dressed similarly to Senior Master Jingxu, but unlike her, this nun did not appear kind and amiable, nor was she as fierce as Mieyin. Instead, she exuded an air of grandeur and solemnity.

Although the three stood together, both Senior Master Jingxu and Miao Chan were slightly behind, indicating that the nun, whom Ye Fei was meeting for the first time, held a higher status in Cihang Jingzhai than Senior Master Jingxu.

Upon seeing Ye Fei and Ye Ningxue emerge, the nun did not show any impatience despite having waited for quite some time. Instead, she spoke with great respect, ”Senior Aunt Ningxue, Young Master Ye, I apologize for interrupting your conversation.”

Hearing the nun’s words, Ye Ningxue’s pretty face flushed red. Although it was clear that they had not discovered the fact that she had just been having sex with her own nephew, even so, it was still embarrassing enough. After all, the three of them had been waiting outside the wall for quite a while, which made her feel as if her affair had been exposed.

Ye Fei, however, was unfazed. He smiled and said, ”It’s quite alright. We’ve finished our discussion. May I ask who you are, Senior Master?”

”I am Senior Master Jingkong, in charge of some secular affairs within our sect,” Jingkong introduced herself first, then continued, ”Your visit has brought great honor to our humble place. I should have led everyone to welcome you, but most of our disciples are devoted to their cultivation and not skilled in socializing. I feared that calling them might offend you, so I came alone. I hope you will forgive me.”

”Not at all, not at all. To have the abbess herself receive me is already an honor beyond my expectations,” Ye Fei quickly replied. Although Senior Master Jingkong spoke modestly, Ye Fei had already learned from Miao Chan that the current abbess of Cihang Jingzhai was indeed Senior Master Jingkong. Unlike the impulsive puppet leader of Wudang, she was a person of real ability.

”Alright, we’re all not outsiders here. Let’s skip the formalities and find a place to sit and talk,” Ye Ningxue interjected, seeing that the two were about to continue with polite exchanges. Although she had found a very capable master, her cultivation was still in its early stages, and her internal foundation was quite weak. After being so thoroughly ”exerted” by her nephew, her legs were now extremely weak, and she naturally wanted to sit down and rest.

The nearest building to where they were standing was Ye Ningxue’s own cottage. However, first, it was not a place for receiving guests, and there wasn’t even a proper place to sit. Second, after the intense session between the aunt and nephew, the room was still filled with the scent of their lovemaking, which they certainly didn’t want others to smell. Therefore, they decided to move their conversation to the reception hall located in the middle of the valley.

This decision, however, made things difficult for Ye Ningxue, whose legs were so weak from being fucked by her nephew that she could barely stand, let alone walk such a long distance. In the end, it was the considerate Ye Fei who stepped forward, wrapped his arm around her slender waist, and half-carried her to the destination.

This scene caught the eyes of Senior Masters Jingxu and Jingkong, making them feel somewhat awkward. However, as people detached from the secular world, they had little interest in gossip and did not ask any questions. This allowed the extremely embarrassed Ye Ningxue to breathe a sigh of relief inwardly.

Upon arriving at the reception hall and taking their seats according to the host and guest protocol, Senior Master Jingkong got straight to the point: ”May I ask, Young Master Ye, what brings you here this time?”

Ye Fei did not hide anything and replied honestly, ”I came here for two reasons. First, to fulfill my promise and bring Miao Chan back to visit. Second, to take my aunt home.”

”This...” Senior Master Jingkong couldn’t help but feel a bit troubled. Although she had more or less guessed Ye Fei’s purpose for coming here, guessing was one thing, and hearing it spoken out loud by Ye Fei was another.

Ye Ningxue had just begun her martial arts training and was not yet a master, but as a disciple of a senior predecessor of Cihang Jingzhai, it was difficult for her to leave without proper explanation.

Seeing the troubled look on Senior Master Jingkong’s face, Ye Fei was puzzled and asked, ”What’s the matter, Senior Master? Can’t my aunt leave here?”

Although Jingkong was the abbess, Ye Ningxue was her senior in terms of generation, so she couldn’t make decisions about Ye Ningxue’s affairs. She quickly said, ”Of course she can leave, but Senior Aunt Ningxue is a disciple of Senior Ancestor Mengling. It would be difficult for us to explain her sudden departure to the senior ancestor.”

”That’s easy to solve. Just let my aunt go and tell her,” Ye Fei said with a smile.

”That’s not possible,” Ye Ningxue interjected this time. ”My master is in a life-or-death meditation. We can’t disturb her.”

”Life-or-death meditation?” This was the first time Ye Fei had heard this term, and he couldn’t help but feel puzzled.

Seeing her nephew’s inquisitive look, Ye Ningxue shook her head slightly and said, ”I’ve just joined the sect, and I still know very little about these martial arts matters. I don’t understand what it means.”

”It is a unique cultivation method of our Cihang Jingzhai. Senior Ancestor Mengling’s cultivation has reached the supreme state of ’Sword Heart Enlightenment.’

If she successfully completes this meditation, she will achieve the legendary state and transcend the void,” Senior Master Jingkong explained, her face showing an envious expression.

”Then just tell her when she comes out of meditation. If she misses my aunt, she can go to Wanghai to find us, or let us know, and I’ll bring my aunt to see her,” Ye Fei said nonchalantly. He added, ”I hope she fails this time.”

”Why would you say that, Young Master Ye?” Senior Master Jingkong’s face changed slightly, and the others were also puzzled. Generally speaking, when hearing that someone is in meditation, people usually wish them success. But Ye Fei was now hoping for failure, which was quite contrary to common sense.

Ye Fei’s words were not meant with any ill intent. On the contrary, because of his second aunt, he had a rather favorable impression of the ”Senior Ancestor Mengling” he had yet to meet. The reason he said this was genuinely for her benefit.

After hearing from Li Canghai that one could enter the cultivation realm after transcending the void, Ye Fei had secretly tried countless times. But every time he broke through the void and probed his consciousness inside, all he could ”see” was chaos.

There was no sign of the cultivation realm. Moreover, the suction force coming from inside was incredibly strong. If he hadn’t only opened a small gap each time, he feared that even with his strength, he might not be able to stabilize himself and avoid being sucked in.

Therefore, Ye Fei had a hypothesis that the space he currently lived in, along with other spaces like the cultivation realm, were all enveloped in boundless chaos, much like islands in a vast ocean.
