Chapter 768: Kissing Yingshi

It has to be said that Lan Yueyingʼs words had a significant impact on Ye Fei. She was right—there was no way to know if those legendary powerful beings even existed, let alone encounter them or provoke them.

This realization instantly lifted Ye Feiʼs mood, though it also made him a bit too carefree. He cupped Lan Yueyingʼs face and planted a firm kiss on her lips, grinning as he said, ”My Lan beauty, youʼre always so thoughtful!”

Caught off guard by Ye Feiʼs sudden move, Lan Yueying felt both embarrassed and flustered.

At the same time, a faint sense of sweetness crept into her heart.

Perhaps because she had already resigned herself to her fate, she secretly hoped that Ye Fei would treat her gently while keeping her under his control. Last night, he had spent hours with her but hadnʼt given her a single kiss.

Now, this unexpected gesture filled her with a strange sense of satisfaction.

”Hmph, shameless!” Bai Youʼer snorted in displeasure upon witnessing Ye Feiʼs action and Lan Yueyingʼs bashful reaction. It wasnʼt clear whether she was scolding Ye Fei or Lan Yueying.

Bai Yingshi, however, showed no reaction. She simply smiled as she watched the two.

Back in the Tianshan Mountains, she had already noticed Ye Feiʼs complicated relationships with many women.

But after their competition, she had unknowingly developed feelings for him. Especially after he gifted her that small transmitter, her heart, untouched for decades, was quietly captured by this young man.

From that moment on, she had accepted the reality of his connections with other women.

Now, seeing the man she loved kiss her close friend, she didnʼt mind, even if it seemed like he was ignoring her. Her calm and forgiving nature made it easy for her to forgive Lan Yueying as well.

Hearing Bai Youʼerʼs snort, Ye Fei realized he had gotten carried away. He turned to Bai Yingshi with a mischievous grin and said, ”Hey, my beauty, how about we do the same?”

Ye Fei had meant it as a joke, but to his surprise, Bai Yingshi smiled softly, leaned in, and gently pecked his lips before quickly pulling away before he could react.

Ye Fei felt a pang of regret. This was the first kiss of the most beautiful woman in the martial world, and he had missed the chance to savor it. But he also knew that given Bai Yingshiʼs reserved nature, this was already a big step for her.

Besides, he didnʼt want to rush things with such a serene and gentle beauty. So he didnʼt push further and simply asked, ”The New Year is almost here. Why donʼt you come back to Wanghai with me? My shiniang and the others might be there around that time.”

However, Bai Yingshi shook her head.

”No, I still have some matters to attend to in the Tianshan Mountains. Maybe another time.”

Though she was calm by nature, she was still a woman with emotions.

The thought of her heart, untouched for decades, being claimed by a man half her age made her feel a bit shy about facing Ye Feiʼs other women, especially Zhu Yuyan, with whom she had some acquaintance.

Seeing the faint blush on Bai Yingshiʼs cheeks, Ye Fei roughly guessed her thoughts.

Though he found it somewhat amusing, he couldnʼt bring himself to pressure her, just as he had never forced Liu Yiru. He nodded and said, ”Alright, Iʼll come find you later.”

”Mm.”

Seeing how much Ye Fei cared about her feelings, Bai Yingshiʼs affection for him deepened. However, since she hadnʼt yet experienced the intense pleasures of physical intimacy, her feelings were more about the emotional connection.

A faint sense of longing was enough to make her feel happy.

With everything settled, it was time for them to part ways. Bai Yingshi and Bai Youʼer were returning to the Tianshan Mountains, while Lan Yueying would naturally accompany Ye Fei back to Wanghai.

Bai Youʼer, who still didnʼt know that Lu Feng had been imprisoned by Ye Fei and that his father was already dead, couldnʼt help but feel even more disdain for Lan Yueying.

The four of them took a taxi to the nearby airport, bought their tickets, and sat together in the waiting lounge.

As the time for parting approached, Bai Yingshi, though she preferred a platonic love, cherished every moment with the man she loved.

At this point, Lan Yueying, who still hadnʼt seen Lu Feng, couldnʼt hold back any longer. She timidly asked, ”Master… what about Fengʼer?” She wasnʼt sure how to address Ye Fei.

Calling him by his name seemed disrespectful, but anything else might make him angry. So she used the title he had forced her to call him the night before.

Ye Fei had expected Lan Yueying to ask about this sooner or later, and he was impressed she had held out this long. He smiled and said, ”Donʼt worry, heʼs fine. Iʼve already arranged for him to go ahead. Youʼll see him when we get to Wanghai.”

Hearing their conversation, Bai Youʼer couldnʼt help but feel another wave of disdain—this time directed at both Lan Yueying, who shamelessly called Ye Fei ”Master,” and Ye Fei himself, who used someoneʼs son as leverage.

However, this disdain didnʼt last long, as their flight was about to depart.

Bai Yingshi stood up and let Ye Fei embrace her, returning the hug as she whispered in his ear, ”Come see us soon after the New Year. Iʼll miss you.”

”Mm.” Ye Fei nodded, gazing at the radiant face of the beauty in his arms. Unable to resist, he leaned down and kissed her lips.

Though it was just a brief touch, the public setting made Bai Yingshi blush deeply. She quickly broke free from Ye Feiʼs embrace and, with Bai Youʼer in tow, headed toward the boarding gate.

Watching the two women leave, Ye Fei felt a pang of melancholy.

Seeing the longing in Ye Feiʼs eyes, Lan Yueyingʼs heart stirred with envy for her good friend. She sighed inwardly, knowing that her mistakes had likely cost her any chance of earning his true affection.

After a while, when it was almost time for their flight, Ye Fei finally snapped out of his thoughts. He glanced at Lan Yueying beside him and said with a smile, ”Donʼt worry. As long as you donʼt disappoint me, I wonʼt mistreat Lu Feng.”

”Thank you, Master.”

Lan Yueying seemed to have grown accustomed to the title, though she sighed inwardly as she spoke.

It seemed he still saw her as nothing more than a plaything.

Though she felt a deep sadness about her fate, Lan Yueying didnʼt blame anyone.

After all, she had brought this upon herself. She only regretted not understanding her sonʼs true nature sooner, which had led to her making such grave mistakes.

Ye Fei didnʼt bother guessing Lan Yueyingʼs thoughts. When the boarding announcement came, he led her onto the plane.

Though Lan Yueying had changed out of her eye-catching long dress, her stunning beauty still drew plenty of attention.

This was something Ye Fei couldnʼt control—unless he used his domain to shield her, which he didnʼt see the need to do.

After all, he didnʼt see Lan Yueying as a lover but rather as a possession, he could use at will. There was no need to protect her so meticulously.

With the New Year approaching, the airport was bustling with travelers. Since they had bought their tickets last minute, they were seated in economy class, which wasnʼt as spacious as first class. Though they werenʼt squeezed together, their seats were still quite close.

As Ye Fei caught the mature, intoxicating scent of Lan Yueyingʼs body, his heart grew restless. Though Lan Yueying hadnʼt yet found a place in his heart, her allure was no less potent than that of his true women.

The fact that he could have her at will made her even more tempting.

Add to that the flight attendants walking by—though not as beautiful as Xu Zhiyun, their figures were undeniably appealing, their uniforms and nylon-clad legs only further stimulating Ye Feiʼs hormones.
