New Age Of Summoners

Other than Paulin, Silver goliath and Neil, there was another strong young man who was also there with them who was fighting an elemental spirit on his own.

’Thud’ ’Thud’ ’Thud’

He was hitting his chest as he transformed into a huge gorilla.

’Slash’

’Slash’

’What the hell? Why are my attacks not working on him?’

The elemental spirit he was fighting frowned when it saw that its attacks were not even making small cuts on the huge gorilla in front of it.

”Since you attacked me until now, it is my turn to attack you.”

The huge gorilla scoffed at the star elemental spirit as it stopped hitting its own chest and rushed towards the elemental spirit.

’Thud’

’Thud’

With each step it took forward, the ground below its feet shook a little.

”You think you can catch me with that body size of yours? In your dreams.”

Even though the star assassin elemental spirit didn’t know how the huge gorilla could have such an insane defence, it was not worried about getting caught by that huge gorilla.

The star assassin elemental spirit was known for its speed and camouflaging skills and as long as it continuously escaped the huge gorilla’s attacks while finding out its weakness of it, it could easily win the fight.

’Looks like the others are also having a difficult time with these newcomers.’

The elemental spirit called Star assassin was outside Cain’s spirit consciousness from the beginning and knew everything was under control until the new youngsters came.

’I have to kill this huge gorilla and help others as soon as possible; otherwise, the summoning master will stop caring about me.’

Even though Star assassin was Cain’s official elemental spirit, it cared for Cain’s attention just like the other elemental spirits under Cain.

As long as they prove their worth, they would get many cultivation resources and all other things that an elemental spirit desires. So, everyone was eager to fight their opponents and kill their enemies as soon as possible.

”Do you think you can hide just because of your camouflaging skills? Let’s see.”

Seeing that the star assassin disappeared from its view all of a sudden, the huge gorilla looked at its surroundings and scoffed at the star assassin that was hiding somewhere around him.

”Fearless gorilla, go and help Neil if your opponent is such a coward.”

That’s right!

The huge gorilla was none other than the Fearless gorilla, one of the adopted children of Edmond and one of the personal disciples of the vagrant cultivators.

Strength wise, he would be in the top five among the personal disciples of the Vagrant cultivators and an emotional one.

So, when he saw King Killer and Shadow siblings’ pitiful situation he was unable to control his anger as he transformed into a huge gorilla to take revenge on their behalf.

Nevertheless, the elemental spirit named ’Star assassin’ that he was fighting was hiding from him, making him even more angry. So, he decided to follow the words of Silver goliath in assisting Neil who was barely keeping an upper hand against the elemental spirit he was fighting.

’Roar’

With a loud roar, Fearless gorilla rushed to the place where Neil was fighting and started smashing the elemental spirit into the ground.

Unlike Star assassin, that elemental spirit was unable to escape from fearless’ hands as it became mincemeat in no time.

’Phew’

Neil heaved a sigh of relief for a moment before saying, ”Brother Fearless, you are awesome.”

Even though Fearless gorilla uses brute force to attack his enemies, it was almost impossible for anyone to escape them.

”It’s nothing.”

Fearless gorilla shook his head and asked, ”So, shall we take care of the elemental spirit that was hiding from me.”

Even though Neil didn’t have brute force or his battle prowess were not as comparable to the other personal disciples, he had excellent eyesight to see through the things that regular cultivators can’t see.

So, Fearless gorilla asked Neil to help me catch the elemental spirit.

”Sure.”

Neil nodded his head and casually checked his surroundings.

”Huh?”

However, Neil frowned when he was unable to see elemental spirit anywhere in his surroundings.

”What happened?”

Fearless gorilla could sense that Neil was having some problem in finding out the location of the hiding elemental spirit. So, he asked about it.

’Wait a second.’

Nevertheless, Neil didn’t say anything as he thought of something before moving from his place to check in a particular place.

’Found it.’

All of a sudden, the frown on Neil’s face disappeared as it was replaced with an excited smile as he replied to Fearless gorilla through the voice transmission. ’Brother Fearless, it is hiding in your shadow.’

’What? It is hiding in my own shadow?’

Fearless gorilla was a little surprised as he asked Neil, ’Did it inside the ground merge with my shadow or is it just using its camouflaging skills to hide above the ground?’

If it was hiding in his shadow, then Fearless gorilla didn’t think his skills would work; however, if it was using his shadow’s black colour to hide above the ground, Fearless gorilla could kill it with his brute strength.

’It is hiding in your shadow.’

Neil replied with a serious look as he knew it was impossible for anyone to land a physical or energy attack on the elemental spirit hiding inside a shadow.

”What happened to you? Where is the elemental spirit you were supposed to kill?”

Silver goliath had already killed the elemental spirit that tried to kill King killer and moved King killer away from Cain, before shouting at Fearless gorilla and Neil.

”We are unable to find it.”

Fearless gorilla replied while rubbing the back of his hand which seemed funny because currently, he was still in the huge gorilla form.

’Currently that elemental spirit is hiding in Brother Fearless’ shadow and we can’t attack it unless it comes out of the shadow.’

As Fearless gorilla replied to Silver goliath through normal communication, Neil used the voice transmission to inform Silver goliath about the truth.

’Oh. So that’s how it is.’

Silver Goliath understood the problem with the ’Star assassin’ elemental spirit as he nodded his head.

”Die”

’Puchi’

’Kacha’

At the side, both Snowstorm and Dark flame used their final moves to kill the elemental spirits they were fighting.

’Phew…finally killed all the elemental spirits of that b*stard.’

Both Snowstorm and Dark flame heaved a sigh of relief as they assumed they killed all the elemental spirits.

Of course, they didn’t know that the ’Star assassin’ elemental spirit was still hiding in Fearless Gorilla’s shadow and waiting for the right time to come to assassinate one of them before hiding into the shadow again.

’Master, just give me some time, I will kill them all. You can use the skill ’Shadow hide’ to hide in any shadow nearby.’

From its hiding place, the last elemental spirit of Cain transmitted its voice to Cain.

’Do we have to do that?’

As for Cain, he was still not showing any signs of regret or pain or anything for losing all his official and unofficial elemental spirits except for Star assassin.

Moreover, when he heard Star assassin’s voice in his head, Cain lazily replied to it before saying, ’Fine then. I will give you five minutes, if you can kill at least one of them, I will give you another five minutes for another assassination.’

’Thank you, summoning master. I will prove my worth to you.’

Star assassin was over the moon with Cain reply as it swore to prove its worth.

”If you failed to kill anyone in the next five minutes, I will make you the slave for all the elemental spirits.”

Cain replied to the elemental spirit, making it raise its brows.

’What? All the elemental spirits are killed by this group of youngsters. So, what elemental spirits the summoning master is talking about?’

Star assassin was obviously confused with Cain’s last words and thought about it.

First, the two unofficial elemental spirits were killed Snowstorm and Dark flame after they were severely injured by Shadow siblings.

Later, Snowstorm, Dark flame, Silver goliath and Fearless gorilla killed two official elemental spirits and two unofficial elemental spirits, leaving the only official elemental spirit ’Star assassin’, which was currency hiding in the shadow.

So, of course, Star assassin was confused with Cain’s words as there were no more elemental spirits in Cain’s spirit consciousness.

’Swoosh’

As for Cain, he didn’t bother to explain anything to his last living elemental spirit; instead, he jumped into the shadow of a tree right in front of everyone’s eyes.

”So, he also got that skill.”

Silver goliath got a headache when he saw that the summoner also hid in the shadow of a tree.

”Dark flame, why don’t you use your fire hammer to smash Fearless’ shadow and make that elemental spirit come out?”

Silver goliath asked Dark flame to try to attack the shadow because everyone already tried their attacks, except for Snowstorm and Darkflame, who were surprised to know that there was still one elemental spirit left alive.

”Paulin, let’s go and make the summon come out.”

As for himself, he brought Paulin to the place where Cain was hiding.

’I am waiting for you to leave. Now, I can kill one of you.’

As soon as Silver goliath and Paulin left, Star assassin came out of Fearless gorilla’s shadow and tried to assassinate the weakest member of the group and it was Neil.
