New Age Of Summoners

’Death strike’

There was a U-shaped blade in Cain’s hand as he directly rushed towards the five participants with an evil smile on his face.

’Clang’

However, one of the participants saw the incoming Cain and blocked the U-shaped blade in a timely manner.

”Haha…as I thought, you are different from others.”

Cain laughed out loud when he saw how easily his attack was blocked by one of the five participants.

”Everyone, stand back. I will take care of him.”

The one who blocked Cain’s attack asked others to stand back in a calm tone as though he was confident in taking care of Cain.

”King killer, be careful.”

The other four participants nodded their heads as they asked him to be careful.

That’s right!

The one who blocked was none other than the personal disciple of Seward, King killer.

As for the four other participants, they were also the personal disciples of the vagrant cultivators and they were Snowstorm, Dark flame, Moon shadow and Bright shadow.

Even though King Killer seemed like he was acting like he was an arrogant young master, the others knew that King killer was like that from the beginning.

Also, they were taking turns in fighting their opponents and it was finally King killer’s turn.

”I know.”

King Killer nodded his head and looked at Cain with an excited look as he continued, ”Looks like all my waiting has paid off as I got a powerful opponent to fight.”

When they drew sticks to decide how they had to fight first and last, King killer drew the short stick, making his number last.

Until now, the opponents fought by others were not weak but compared to Cain, who emitted a devious aura, they were all weak.

So, King killer, who always likes to fight strong opponents, was excited as he finally got to fight someone powerful in the third round.

”I will tell you one thing. Fight together; otherwise, it is no fun for me.”

Cain frowned when he saw how only one of them would be fighting against him, which was completely different from what he imagined.

Even though they were strong individually, Cain felt they were worthless if they fought him individually and asked them to fight together.

Only then, he would feel a little pressure.

’Why would someone form a team if not for fighting together?’

Cain muttered to himself as he looked at the four other participants who didn’t have any intention of helping their friend.

The thing is, it was not Cain’s fault for misunderstanding that they would fight him together when he first saw them.

The only reason Ajax and other personal disciples of the vagrant cultivators decided to form a team was that the powerful participants from the Ylercester province and Xacaster province were doing.

They formed a team to stop the other teams from ganging up on the individual members of their team.

”Sorry to tell you this, but fighting a single target with a group will not be fun for me.”

In reply to Cain’s words, King killer shrugged his hands with a nonchalant look on his face.

”Sigh…I thought it was going to be an interesting fight. Looks like I have to find another group of strong participants.”

Cain shook his head in disappointment as he completely lost interest when he saw how overconfident King killer and his friends were.

”…”

King Killer was speechless at Cain’s words because the only overconfident and arrogant one he saw was Cain but the other party was telling that he was overconfident.

”That is too soon to tell.”

Nevertheless, King killer was not the one who got affected by his opponent’s word as he rushed towards Cain with his long sword.

”A common sword opening.”

Cain didn’t think much when he saw King killer was using the most common sword opening move.

”You can die now.”

In the next second, Cain threw the U-shaped blade in his hand at the incoming King Killer which flew like a boomerang.

”You don’t know how powerful the most common sword opening move will be when it was practised for 10 years.”

In King killer’s eyes, the U-shaped blade was nothing but a distraction which he didn’t bother to dodge at all as he continued to rush towards Cain.

’What a fool.’

Cain’s evaluation of King killer degraded even more when he saw King Killer was not even planning to dodge his blade and continued to rush like a mad man.

”Now, go to die.”

All of a sudden, the distance between King killer and Cain decreased from 10 meters to one meter in just a second as King killer slashed his sword at Cain with full force.

’What the…’

Cain was not expecting such an insane speed from the King killer and what’s more, the speed at which he swung his long sword could be considered godly.

’Slash’

Cain tried his best in dodging King killer’s long sword; however, he was still unable to dodge it completely as a small cut appeared on Cain’s cheek.

’Clang’

”Not bad, you have a fast reaction speed.”

Even though the King killer was able to make a cut, he knew how hard it was for others to dodge it with just a single cut. So, he acknowledged Cain’s fast reaction speed while blocking the U-shaped blade that finally reached him from behind.

”You got a nice blade. Is it a legend grade weapon?”

When he deflected the U-shaped blade earlier, King killer felt his hands go numb for a second and he could tell it was definitely not a Heaven grade weapon.

”You made a cut on me?”

Cain had a surprised look on his face as he looked at King killer in a new light.

”Looks like the fight is going to be interesting. Let’s have some fun. Shall we?”

Touching the cut on his cheek, Cain replied to King killer with a slight smile on his face as he directly rushed towards King killer.

”Sure.”

King killer also nodded his head and soon the fight started.
