New Age Of Summoners

The white-robed young man’s name was Quinn and he was the most talented cultivator in the Heavenly heart sect.

His cultivation had already reached peak elite general realm a few years back and no one knows what type of cultivator’s law he cultivated; however, there were rumours that he had awakened three cultivator’s law in the last three years.

Whether it was true or false, only time will tell as Quinn never used any of his cultivator’s laws against his opponents until now, making him a top contender in this contest.

Moreover, he never formed a team with anyone and even now, he was sitting alone trying to breakthrough.

’Hey, there is an idiot who is trying to cultivate here. What shall we do?’

’What else? Just eliminate him from the round.’

’Idiot. Why don’t you use your head once in a while?’

’Huh? Is there any need to use my head in our current situation?’

From a distance, two cultivators saw that Quinn was cultivating with his eyes closed in the middle of a contest and started discussing what they had to do to him.

The two cultivators, one was short whereas the other one was quite tall. They were wearing simple clothes and with a single look, anyone could tell that they didn’t belong to any top faction.

’Sigh’

The short cultivator sighed as he placed his hand on his forehead before explaining, ’From his clothes, I can tell, he is from a powerful sect or family. As long as we protect him when he is in danger, he will owe us a favour and we could ask for many things with the help of that favour.’

’Brother, how can you be so intelligent?’

The tall cultivator rubbed the back of his head as he praised the short cultivator.

’So, let’s wait until someone attacks that cultivator. We will make our grand appearance then and make him owe us.’

Looking at Quinn in the distance, the two cultivators could not help but chuckle to themselves as they hid properly while waiting for someone to attack Quinn.

Even though they felt like they were looking at Quinn and his surroundings properly, they failed to notice the grin on Quinn’s face which lasted only for a few moments.

…

At the entrance of a dense forest.

”Keep a close eye on our surroundings, there might be other young participants waiting to ambush us.”

When the huge white crow was above to fly over the dense forces, Heavenly raven asked them to be careful.

”Yes.”

Ajax and Justice nodded their heads as they paid full attention to their surroundings as they could guess the moment they entered the forest, the chances of getting ambushed increased.

”You are right! You have to be careful; however, you are not careful enough to detect our ambush.”

All of a sudden, Ajax and others heard a voice from trees that made all three of them frown; however, before they could do anything, a net made up of golden energy caught them along with the huge white crow.

”Shit. We are ambushed.”

Heavenly raven cursed and tried to cut the energy net; however, he was unable to cut it.

Moreover, he felt his eyes becoming heavy and he wanted to sleep.

’Ding,

The host is affected by the dream-inducing ability of the Dream catcher net.

’Ding,

Detected that the host has consumed a ’Dream resistant pill’. The Dream catcher net’s special effect will not work on the host.

As for Ajax, he was also feeling the same effects that Heavenly raven was experiencing; however, just when his eyes were about to be closed, he received a couple of system notifications, making him completely awake.

’What was that? I nearly lost my life.’

For a moment, Ajax felt fearful because he didn’t even know how he would have died if he had not consumed the ’Dream resistant pill’ in the past.

”Wake up”

As soon as he got hold of himself, he slapped Heavenly raven and Justice before waking them up successfully.

”Advanced Spatial blades.”

Ajax used his spatial blades skills to cut off the dream catcher net; however, the net was strong, making Ajax shake his head.

’Swoosh’

As Ajax and others were stuck in the dream catcher net, a group of silhouettes jumped down from the trees and stood in front of Ajax and others.

”Haha…do you think you can destroy the dream catcher net just like that?”

The captain of the group laughed out loud while looking at Ajax and his friends.

’Why the hell are they still awake? Is there something wrong with the dream catcher’s net?’

Even though the captain was laughing on the outside, he was actually worried about the special effect of the dream catcher net.

According to their ambush, the target should have already lost consciousness by now and they would kill them before disposing their bodies.

After that, they will repeat the same process again and catch the other young participants before killing them.

However, the participants they caught this time were still conscious, making the captain and others a little doubtful regarding the ability of the dream catcher net.

”Is that so?”

Ajax was not worried much about it as he tried to use his other skills.

’Teleport’

’Swoosh’

As soon as he used it, he disappeared from his place and appeared behind the captain.

”Looks like I can still use my skills.”

Ajax shrugged his hands and caught the captain’s head and before the captain could know what was happening, Ajax broke his neck.

’Thud’

The captain of the group was still unable to believe that he was killed by a level 2 elite general realm cultivator in such a short time.

’How can I die here?’

’I even brought the sect’s treasure

’Moreover, he was just a level 2 elite general realm cultivator.’

Never in his wildest dreams, he thought that he would be killed in the third round of the contest.
