New Age Of Summoners

”You don’t have another option other than killing me.”

The primitive ape king shrugged his hands as he replied to Ajax in his usual hoarse voice.

’Huh?’

Ajax was surprised a little when he heard such a reply from the primitive ape king.

”Why do you want to become my partner. I don’t have high cultivation but I have a lot of powerful enemies which makes me a burden for you.”

Nevertheless, Ajax shook his head as he continued, ”Since you don’t want to become a contracted spirit beast, I suggest you go and live your own life. Stop bothering me.”

Actually, Ajax felt the logic said by the primitive ape king of becoming a partner was good; however, without forming a contract with the spirit beast, he could not put him into his inner world.

Also, it would have been not a problem for him; however, from now on he had to travel to other worlds and who knows how long it would take for him to destroy them.

So, Ajax felt that only if the primitive ape king forms a contract with him, he could take him along because the spirit beast looked powerful and it would be a great help in the other worlds.

”Exactly. The reason why you want to become your partner is to protect you from your enemies because your cultivation is still low.”

The huge ape nodded his head as though what he said just now was 100 percent true.

”...”

Ajax became speechless at the primitive ape king’s words as he silently thought, ’Bro, if you want to follow me, it’s okay but why do you have to say unnecessary things.’

”Young master, I think, you should take it with you. Once a Primitive ape king decides on something, unless you kill them, they will never change their decision.”

Just when Ajax was going to say something, the Nameless cultivator suggested Ajax allow the primitive ape king to follow him.

”Hm”

Ajax nodded his head because he was also thinking the same.

’However, the problem is, currently, I am entering a small world to destroy and according to the system, I can’t take anyone except for my contracted spirit beasts and elemental spirits that were inside the inner world of spirit consciousness.’

Ajax had long decided to allow the spirit beast to follow him without a contract; however, he thought of his current problem and started thinking of an alternative.

”Okay...fine. I will allow you to follow me on one condition.”

Finally, after thinking for a few moments, Ajax nodded his head as he replied to the primitive ape king.

The primitive ape king didn’t say anything as he waited for Ajax’s condition and silently thought, ’No matter what, I have to fulfil that condition.’

”You have to guard those 10 cursed beasts against leaving this cursed heaven while learning a bestial law. As long as you can learn beast law by the time I return, I will consider you as a reliable partner.”

Seeing that the primitive ape king became serious, Ajax stated his condition to become a partner without a contract.

’Looks like a good condition.’

Nameless cultivator, who was at the side, shook his head and felt pity towards the primitive ape king.

For a being to enter into the King realm, they have to learn a law and increase that level to the peak.

As for the laws, they were classified into different types depending on the type of beings;

They were Elemental laws, Cultivator’s laws, Bestial laws, Demon laws, Devil laws and many more.

However, it was not mandatory to be called by different names. Most of the time, people use only ’Elemental laws’ even if it was awakened by a human or a spirit beast.

For everyone, the level of difficulty for awakening their respective types of laws are equal and now, Ajax had given the task of awakening a bestial law for the primitive ape king.

So, of course, Master Elek shook his head.

’...’

Just like Ajax expected, the primitive ape king fell into a dilemma and started thinking about something.

”So, what do you say? Are you in or out?”

Ajax was a little disappointed when he saw that the primitive ape king fell into the dilemma because from Master Elek’s words, he thought primitive ape kings were adamant about their decision.

Nevertheless, he asked once again.

”Can I know when you will come back?”

The primitive ape king didn’t agree to the condition directly; instead, he asked something else that made Ajax could not help but smile.

’I thought these primitive ape kings were dumb but look like this one is clever.’

Ajax’s previous disappointment disappeared as he replied, ”I think, it will take one month or so.”

”One month?”

Master Elek shook his head once again as he directly came to a conclusion, ’Looks like the young master didn’t want the primitive ape king to follow him without a contract.’

The thing is, all cultivators and spirit beasts in the Zrochester province were cultivating for centuries just to awaken a single law and here, Ajax was giving the target of awakening a bestial law in a single month.

There is almost no chance for the primitive ape king to awaken a glimpse of a bestial law, not to mention completely awakening a bestial law.

”One month is more than enough for me to learn the Bestial law.”

To everyone’s surprise, the primitive ape king nodded his head with an excited look on his face as though learning a bestial law was very simple for him.

’What the hell?’

Both Ajax and the primitive ape king were shocked at the primitive ape king’s words; however, they didn’t have any confidence in the primitive ape king because learning a bestial law in a single month is just a joke.

”Good.”

Nevertheless, Ajax nodded his head and looked at Nameless cultivator before saying, ”Senior Nameless, with the primitive ape king in the cursed heaven you can take breaks more often.”

After finishing his words, Ajax walked out of the cave to officially start his mission.
