New Age Of Summoners

# Bonus chapter

’Th...this is..’

Even the old man was shocked to see the nearly ice statued Ajax.

However, what shocked him, even more, was the Pure Cursed Energy that he absorbed earlier was being depleted at an incredible speed.

’Damn it...where is it going?’

The old man was unable to find the exact traces of where his Pure Cursed Energy was going and who was sucking him dry with such a crazy absorption speed.

’I don’t have time to think about it. I need to save this kid; otherwise, I might die.’

He was unable to concentrate on the ’Bastard’ that was absorbing the Pure Cursed Energy from his body because he still didn’t know why was connected to Ajax despite being able to form a partial spirit consciousness.

Nevertheless, he didn’t want to take the risk because what if Ajax dies and he would die along with him?

He was barely able to save his small portion of spirit consciousness from his previous bad situation. Now, if something happens to Ajax, he would die for real.

’Damn it….I just came out and now I have to go back.’

’Swoosh’

The old man cursed at his bad luck; however, without wasting any time, he directly entered into Ajax and tried his best to remove the side effects of Cursed Energy.

’Wait a second! Why was his body freezing all of a sudden? Don’t tell me he is the ’Bastard’ who is sucking all my Pure Cursed Energy?’

Once the old man entered Ajax’s body, he was able to stabilize Ajax’s condition and at the same time, he realized that Ajax was the one who was absorbing his Pure Cursed Energy.

However, he could not do anything to Ajax except for sighing.

’Since he was stabilised, I will go out and absorb more Cursed Energy. I don’t think he will continue to absorb all my Pure Cursed Energy.’

As a cultivator who seemed to know everything about Cursed Energy, he knew it was impossible for anything to absorb Cursed Energy continuously without a break.

So, he wanted to go out and absorb Cursed Energy.

’Moreover, in that place, I can easily replenish everything I lost in a couple of minutes.’

The old man thought to himself as he tried to come out.

’Huh?’

’What is happening to me? Why can’t I come out of his body?’

All of a sudden, the old man got stuck by something that made him unable to come out of Ajax.

’No...my Pure Cursed Energy is completely empty.’

Soon, all the Pure Cursed Energy stored in his spirit consciousness disappeared without a trace as he returned back to his previous state where he could only talk occasionally.

’I need to convince him to rotate my ’Mysterious spirit cultivation technique’ along with his main cultivation technique.’

Soon, the old man became anxious because he knew he could not stay in his current form for much time and he would once again enter into slumber.

...

’Ding,

+10 units of Cursed Energy entered into the host’s body and converted into  0.1 percent of one unit of Astral Energy.

.

.

.

’Ding,

+4500 units of Cursed Energy entered into the host’s body and converted into 45 units of Astral Energy.

’Huh?’

Ajax was only getting 10 units of Cursed Energy for every couple of seconds and all of a sudden, he got 4500 units of Cursed Energy which instantly filled Astral Space’s quota in the Sacred Astral Space.

’Ding,

The host’s Sacred Astral Space has enough units of Astral Energy and Sacred Energy.

’Ding,

Merging both energies and creating 51 units of Sacred Astral Energy.

While he was in his thoughts Ajax got two more system notifications that made him excited.

’Hey, young man. Why don’t you rotate both the cultivation techniques once again?’

While Ajax was waiting on the ground for both the energies to merge, he heard the familiar old voice in his head.

’Sorry, old man. My body is still in pain. So, I can’t rotate it for some time.’

Ajax didn’t even think for a second before directly rejecting the old man’s request.

Even though his body was still in the pain, Ajax could push him to circulate both the cultivation techniques; however, currently, Ajax didn’t have any use of Astral Energy anymore.

Moreover, his Sacred Astral Space would be completely filled after both Astral Energy and Sacred Energy merges.

So, why should he have to work hard to gain something he would not be benefited from?

’What the hell?’

Hearing his reply, the old voice cursed Ajax and thought, ’You are the one who sucked all my Pure Cursed Energy and you are behaving like you don’t owe me anything.’

The old man shouted as loudly as possible; however, he was being suppressed by something that was way more powerful than him.

Moreover, without any Cursed Energy or any other kinds of energy, the old voice can’t do anything and let Ajax use the mysterious spirit cultivation on his own.

’And why the hell is he not killing beings with spirit consciouosness after mysteriously upgrading it to level 3?’

There was another thing that was bothering the old man because whenever he killed someone with a spirit consciousness, there was a 10 percent of getting 10 percent of the spirit consciousness of the enemy he killed in the battle.

As for why he was bothering about it, only the old man knows.

’Damn it….it looks like I am stuck with this kid forever.’

Nevertheless, he was sure about one thing and it was that he had to live with the young man forever because of the other thing inside his head that already connected his spirit consciousness to Ajax’s spirit consciousness.

What’s more, it was only connected by a very small portion that even Ajax was unable to notice it.

Soon, the old man entered into his slumber as all the energy in his spirit consciousness was depleted for some time already.
