New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 769: Final ranking

Arkorʼs forehead was entirely covered in sweat because he felt a bad premonition and hurriedly tried to dodge the attack.

”Not so soon.”

ʼTingʼ

Arkor heard Ajaxʼs words beside his ear along with a metallic swinging sound.

ʼCome out, everyone.ʼ

Arkor didnʼt know what he was doing because he felt like he would die if he didnʼt use his final trump card.

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as he did that, three elemental spirits cultivations of level 8, level 6, and level 4 elite general realm appeared and blocked Ajaxʼs inheritance sword.

All three elemental spirits were in red-colour, and with a look, anyone could say that they were fire elemental spirits.

ʼWhat?ʼ

Ajax was surprised by the sudden appearance of the elemental spirits; however, he soon suppressed it and disappeared from his place before appearing 20 meters away from his earlier position.

”What? Arkor is a summoner?”

”He even has three elemental spirits with such high cultivations.”

”Compared to Ajaxʼs dark elemental spirit, they were too powerful.”

”Until earlier, I had a small hope of Ajaxʼs win; however, with the appearance of the elemental spirits.”

Not only Ajax, everyone except for the sect leader of the fire sword sect were shocked by the sudden appearance of the elemental spirits.

Actually, except for Arkorʼs master, no one from the entire Zrochester province knew that he was a summoner because he didnʼt want others to know about it.

He wanted to summon his elemental spirits after reaching the top level in the Zrochester province; however, today, he had to summon his elemental spirits to save his life because of Ajax.

”Ajax, I am going to kill you today.”

Thinking about his dream, Arkor became angry and shouted at Ajax before ordering his elemental spirits, ”You know what to do, right? As long as you kill him, I will ask my master to allow you into the ʼFire sword poolʼ.”

Unlike Jastin, Arkor was not harsh with his elemental spirits. As long as they do something for him, he would reward them with valuable items.

In the beginning, there were many items he could give them; however, with the increase in their cultivation, those items became useless except for one cultivation resource, which had some use for these elemental spirits.

As for the ʼFire sword poolʼ, it is a grade 1 elemental paradise created by the previous sect leader of the fire sword sect.

”Thank you, summoning master.”

All the elemental spirits became excited when they heard Arkorʼs words.

Even though he could kill Ajax for himself with his speed, he decided to let his elemental spirits defeat him because he made him summon them.

”You want a summoner battle?”

Ajax looked at the three incoming elemental spirits and asked Arkor; however, before he could reply, Ajax himself answered the question, ”No. I have other things to do. So, I will finish this battle as soon as possible.”

Without any hesitation, he clenched the inheritance sword in his hand and looked at the protector Olek for a second before shouting, ”Enemy annihilation.”

ʼPuchiʼ

ʼBoomʼ

The inheritance entered into the huge stage without any difficulties and what happened next was a huge explosion.

However, when he saw Ajaxʼs look, the protector Olek felt something was wrong and became a little alert because he already saw how powerful the attack could be.

So, he cast a barrier, and before the energy waves could hit Arkor, the protector Olek appeared beside him and saved him.

”Ajax wins and stays in his first rank.”

Before the dust could settle, the protector Olekʼs voice resounded in the surroundings.

As for Arkorʼs elemental spirits, luckily, they were still alive.

Even though the protector Olek created a barrier around those three elemental spirits, they were so close to Ajax which made them injure despite the pace there was a barrier around them.

ʼHoly heavens!ʼ

ʼWhat is that attack!ʼ

ʼSee! Even the huge stage that was filled with many strength runes is destroyed.ʼ

ʼTo repair the stage, the royal family has to spend quite a lot of spirit stones.ʼ

Everyone started whispering about Ajaxʼs skill that could even kill a cultivator of level 6 elite general from a distance of more than 20 meters.

As for the elemental spirits, they would definitely if they were very close to Ajax.

ʼThis skill became even more powerful.ʼ

Even Ajax was shocked by the first skill of the inheritance sword because this was his first time using the skill after entering the general realm.

ʼI need to find the other two sword inheritances and unlock the two more skills.ʼ

Since the first skill was already very powerful, Ajax became curious about the other two skills and wanted to find them as soon as possible.

”Do you have any problem with the result?”

The protector Olek asked Arjor with a slight smile on his face.

No matter how much the protector Olek was shocked, he would always show the same slight smile on his face.

”No.”

Arkor, who was still in shock after seeing Ajaxʼs last attack, felt his soul was shaken.

With the protector Olekʼs words, he came out of his shock and shook his head, and without saying anything, he summoned back his three elemental spirits; he went back to stand with other top ten participants.

He felt like Ajax was the true monster among the young participants he had seen so far. No one was a match for him.

”Okay.”

Protector Olek nodded his head and asked Heavenly raven and others whether they want to challenge others or not?

The reply he got from them was a ʼNoʼ.

Since everyone was friends with one another and most of them didnʼt have any confidence to win against Levi and Ajax. So, they didnʼt want to fight.

As for their true battle prowess, it will be shown when required, and there was no need for them to showcase their abilities in front of everyone.

”Since no one wants to challenge others, the final ranking among you will be announced.”

As soon as the protector Olek said that, a huge mirror screen appeared right above the huge stage.

1. Ajax

2. Levi

3. Fearless gorilla

4. Dark flame

5. Silver goliath

6. Heavenly raven

7. King killer

8. Arkor

9. Brer

10. Alhan

Soon, the names of the top ten participants of the champions contest appeared on the mirror screen.

Apparently, there were no changes from the earlier display of the ranks.

”Damn it!”

When the top powers of the Zrochester province saw the ranking list, they cursed themselves because they not only failed to complete the mission given by their backers, they also didnʼt manage to get the top five rankings despite using so many resources.

”We are proud of you.”

While the leading figures were cursing, the vagrant cultivators were proud of their personal disciples.

They didnʼt expect six of their personal disciples to enter the top 10, and the most important thing was their ranking was higher than the geniuses of the top powers.

”Looks like there will many changes and assassination attempts in the future.”

As for the low-level families and wandering cultivators, they were happy that the personal disciples of the vagrant cultivators got a good ranking compared to top powersʼ geniuses.

”Now, itʼs reward time.”

Protector Olekʼs voice got the attention of everyone who was busy in their own thoughts.
