New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 752: Ajax versus Jastin

Jastin, the personal disciple of the sect leader Gerg has cultivation of level 5 elite general after consuming all the resources given by the headquarters and his job in the champions contest was to kill as many young geniuses as possible from the other powers.

However, because of the sudden appearance of the protector Olek and the change of the sparring tournament into a ʼKill the demonsʼ mission.

Moreover, everyone was given an escape talisman that could help them escape from the bronze demon world, making Jastin and the chosen ones from the other powers.

Nevertheless, with the appearance of the worm-like demonic beasts, he was able to sneak and kill many of the participants.

However, when he saw Ajax in the distance, his eyes sparkled with killing intent.

ʼEveryone, try to assassin the participants from the other powers,ʼ

Soon, Jastin transmitted his voice to his 5-6 fellow disciples who had varying cultivations from level 3-level 8 general realms.

Within a few minutes after the appearance of the worm-like creatures, a few lucky ones were able to escape; however, many unlucky ones were assassinated by the assassin sect disciples.

So, the overall participants remaining in the bronze demon world were less than 40.

Among them, the unlucky ones were the great families. Except for the one who was nurtured with all the resources, the remaining participants were either teleported back to Zrochester province or killed by the assassin sect disciples.

The participants from the sects were also not in a good position.

Except for the assassin sect which still had six disciples, the fire sword sect has three disciples left. As for the combat king sect, it only has two disciples left in the bronze demon world.

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as they received the order of Jastin, the five participants from the assassin sect dispersed and whenever they got time, they would silently kill the weakest participants from the other families.

ʼAs long as I kill you, the headquarter will greatly reward me and if I am lucky, they might even take me to their province,ʼ

Looking at Ajax, Jastin was excited because the rewards for killing him would be more compared to the rewards he would get from killing all the participants from an entire sector the great family.

ʼAs for why the headquarters wants to kill him, who cares? As long as I get the rewards, itʼs worth it,ʼ

With that thought in his mind, he disappeared from his place and appeared behind Ajax as silently as possible.

However, Ajaxʼs senses were not normal and it could be comparable to an elite general realm cultivator.

So, just as Jastin appeared behind him, Ajax unconsciously shivered and at the same time, he felt a bad premonition in his heart.

ʼTeleportʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSlashʼ

Without any hesitation, he used the first effect of his level 1 lightning cloud steps and teleported himself 10 meters away from his current location.

ʼHuh?ʼ

Jastin was shocked at the speed of Ajax and thought, ʼHe nearly reached the speed which was comparable to teleportation….looks like the fight is going to be interesting.ʼ

So far, Jastin had assassinated so many geniuses in his lifetime and the more trump cards that genius had the more excited he would feel.

Ajaxʼs speed was a surprise for him and looked at Ajax, ”I will see how many trump cards you have under your sleeves.”

Earlier, he just wanted to finish Ajax before killing the other participants and bronze demons; however, he wanted to see the trump cards.

ʼDamn you, assassin sect,ʼ

Ajax was completely enraged with the sneak attack on him because even if he were to react a single second, he would have died even without knowing who killed him.

ʼUltimate Spatial blades,ʼ

As soon as he saw the attacker, Ajax cursed the assassin sect and without any hesitation, he used the ʼspatial bladesʼ with 10000 units of the essence of nature.

ʼSlash slashʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

However, Jastin disappeared from his place and once again appeared behind Ajax before saying in Ajaxʼs ear, ʼPowerful skillʼ

ʼSlashʼ

While praising Ajaxʼs spatial blades, he lightly made a cut on Ajaxʼs back before distancing himself from Ajax.

ʼAarghʼ

This time Ajax was one second late and received a cut on his body making him shout in anger.

ʼExcellent speed, powerful long-range attack that could take out multiple targets at once,ʼ

Jastin was once again surprised by Ajaxʼs powerful skill which was a perfect skill to fight multiple targets.

”Even though it is a good skill, the speed of that skill is still not comparable to my speed,”

He acknowledged Spatial blades are a good skill to have but using them on him, itʼs just a waste of time and the essence of nature.

”Show me what other skills and techniques you have in your arsenal,”

Jastin waited for Ajax to use his next attack.

ʼHeheʼ

In reply to his words, Ajax just revealed an evil smile and tightly clenched the inheritance sword in his hand.

”I fear you will not be alive to see all my trump cards.”

As soon as he finished his words, he released a sword wave of 10 meters at Jastin.

”You want to kill me with just a sword wave? In your dreams,”

As for Jastin, he didnʼt take Ajaxʼs words seriously and glanced at his left before disappearing from his sport.

ʼHeheʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

Ajax was keenly observing Jastinʼs eyes and as soon as he noticed that Jastin was looking to his left, Ajax teleported himself to the place where Jastin might appear.

ʼFound you,ʼ

ʼSpatial bladesʼ

And to Ajaxʼs luck, he teleported himself right in front of Jastin before using the ultimate spatial blades.

ʼWhat?ʼ

Jastin didnʼt expect Ajax could exactly guess when he would appear and moreover, Jastin was shocked before Ajax could use the powerful spatial blades and fast movement technique back to back.

It was common sense that if a skill or cultivation technique is powerful, then the consumption rate for them would be insane.

Just after using his fast movement skill three times, Jastinʼs spirit consciousness was half emptied.

Not to mention, he was a level 5 elite general realm cultivator with more than 30000 units of the essence of nature in his spirit consciousness.

As for Ajax, he was just a level 9 elite commander who will have around 6000-7000 unit0s of spirit consciousness capacity. Moreover, he was using the fast movement technique along with a powerful skill that could even injure him, a level 5 elite general realm cultivator.

”You still want to see my trump cards? You are going to die even before I could use any of my trump cards,”

After releasing the spatial blades, Ajax mocked Jastin for underestimating him.

What Ajax said was true. He didnʼt even use any of his trump cards yet.

He was using his regular skills which were already known by many.

As for underestimating him, was Jastin wrongly underestimated Ajax?

He, a level 5 elite general realm cultivator thought he could kill a level 9 elite commander realm cultivator whenever he wanted to kill; however, before that he wanted to see what kind of trump cards he had on him that helped Ajax survive his sectsʼ assassination attempts until now.
