Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 85 - 79: Altar, Shining Gemstone!_2

At this moment, with the addition of other recruited creatures to the battle, these two bizarre goblins were no longer able to stir up any trouble.

Even Brent Sulfur Stone and Renice did not need to take action.

Cao Xing began to examine the attributes of these two goblins.

[Corrupted Goblin: Level 18]

[Race: Goblin]

[Life Value: 3212/6740]

[Attack Power: 361~378]

[Skill: Corrupted Claw Strike (wields corrupted sharp claws, dealing 80% of attack power in damage twice to enemies, and adds 2 layers of Frost Ice Corruption Mark); Corrupted Shell (covered by corrupted ice, armor is increased by an extra 100 points, reducing physical damage by 10%)]

[Talent: Alchemy]

[Note: This is a group of goblins guarding the palace, corrupted by Frost Ice for some reason, losing their minds while gaining immense power.]

…

Seeing the description above, Cao Xing’s face showed a look of realization.

“So that’s it. I was wondering why these goblins are so strong, turns out it’s because of these curses.”

At this moment, these two goblins were being besieged by everyone.

Assam and Andrew kept inflicting terrifying damage on them, with two boss-level creatures nearby.

This battle was essentially a foregone conclusion.

Cao Xing also raised his magic wand and hurled three ice cones.

[-74]

[-75]

[-77]

Three damage numbers floated up.

For Cao Xing, whose attack power had already surpassed 200, the damage seemed very low.

Cao Xing remarked, “That Corrupted Shell skill is quite perverse!”

“It directly increases armor by 100 points, rivaling the bonuses of a full set of equipment.”

However, although Cao Xing’s attack power was very low, the attack power of other recruited creatures was quite considerable.

Sarah, in coordination with the shovel loader robot, was dealing with one corrupted goblin, with the Shadow Blade flickering continuously.

[-587]

[-571]

[-1129!]

Terrifying damage numbers floated up.

In no time, the blood volume of this corrupted goblin had dropped below a thousand.

Sarah also suffered four attacks.

Although her blood volume didn’t decrease much, the troublesome part was the faint white frost over the areas of Sarah’s body that had been attacked.

Cao Xing checked Sarah’s status.

[Status: Corrupted Mark 4 layers (When Corrupted Mark accumulates to 10 layers, it reduces 10% of the life limit until the Corrupted Mark disappears)]

Seeing the description of this Corrupted Mark.

Cao Xing pondered, “This is a bit troublesome.”

“It’s actually reducing the life limit by percentage. If a group of corrupted goblins gangs up on someone, wouldn’t just stacking the Frost Ice Corruption status reduce the enemy’s blood volume to the lowest?”

“No wonder the system says this is a high-difficulty area. Just these two goblins at the entrance could wipe out many survivor squads.”

At this moment, it was time for the Aurora Knight to make an appearance.

Cao Xing looked at Liu Muxue beside him and said, “Muxue, remember to observe the status on their bodies.”

“When you see someone’s Corrupted Mark exceeding 5 layers, throw a Purification Skill at them.”

With Liu Muxue’s attribute enhancement now, a single use of [Purification Skill] could cleanse 3 layers of negative status.

Moreover, the cooling time of this basic skill was not long—only 5 seconds of CD.

Holding her shield, Liu Muxue responded solemnly, “Okay… I will, Axing!”

After speaking, she raised her longsword, directing a blast of Holy Aurora towards Sarah.

At the same time.

Renice was also attacking the two goblins nearby.

Her body stood upright, like a standing green pine, perfectly displaying her curves.

The bowstring in her hand slowly pulled back, and in an instant, an arrow was shot out.

Whoosh!

The arrow hit its mark.

[-372!]

This arrow hit the head of the corrupted goblin, causing critical strike damage.

Whoosh! Whoosh whoosh!

The Shaman also cast a totem skill, increasing the critical strike rate and hit rate of allied creatures.

With the ferocious attack of several powerful creatures.

Soon, the blood volume of these two corrupted goblins at the entrance was almost depleted.

Sarah swung her blade, and the last goblin fell.

[Your territory member: Sarah Blade Dance killed a Corrupted Goblin Lv18, gaining 200 points of experience value]

[Combat personnel gained 100 points of experience value]

[Your territory member: Renice Hawkeye killed a Corrupted Goblin Lv19, gaining 220 points of experience value]

[Combat personnel gained 110 points of experience value]

…

The battle took less than thirty seconds in total.

Cao Xing was elated inside.

“Although these goblins were quite troublesome to deal with, the experience they gave was quite substantial, equaling that of a level 12 elite monster.”

Cao Xing glanced at his own experience bar.

[Current Level: 8 Level 16%]

Liu Muxue’s level had also reached 7 Level 4%.

At the moment, they were still first and second on the leaderboard, far ahead.

“Very good, in this way, we just need to wait until we both reach level ten, utilize the rewards on the leaderboard, and we can directly advance.”

“Not only that, there are two recruitment scrolls, which can greatly enhance the strength of my territory.”

Cao Xing was filled with anticipation.

However, what was more important now was exploring this goblin treasury.

Then, as usual, Cao Xing approached the goblins, beginning to search for the loot.

[Obtained Large Dry Food *1]

[Obtained Magic Power Book · Medium *1]

[Obtained Corrupted Scale *7]

[Obtained Basic Elemental Crystal *2]

As usual, Cao Xing examined the attributes of the two newly acquired materials.

[Magic Power Book · Medium: Increases the spiritual attributes of allied units by 2 points.]

(Note: Cannot be used on the Lord.)

…

[Corrupted Scale: A scale tainted with corrupted aura.]

(Can be used to create certain special equipment, or collect a certain number and submit to the ‘Giant Dragon Research Society’ to receive rich rewards.)

“Is it related to the giant dragon again?”

Cao Xing shook his head, putting away these two items.

Then said, “Keep moving forward.”

Along this stone-brick passage, everyone continued forward for about two hundred meters.

Soon, they arrived at a spacious space that looked like a hall.

Ancient stone pillars, with a black altar engraved with mysterious patterns in the center of the hall.

A group of corrupted goblins kneeled in front of the altar, as if worshipping something.

Their bodies were stiff, covered in frost, seemingly maintaining this position for a long time.

Cao Xing roughly scanned, seeing more than 10 goblins here.

Among them, he also saw a strong goblin wearing armor, holding a black iron hammer.

He glanced at their attributes.

[Corrupted Goblin: Level 19]

[Race: Goblin]

[Life Value: 6840/6840]

[Attack Power: 377~384]

[Armor: 137~154 (extra +100)]

[Skill: Corrupted Claw Strike, Corrupted Shell.]

…

[Corrupted Goblin Warrior: Level 20]

[Race: Goblin]

[Level: Second Order Elite Level Creature]

[Life Value: 10760/10760]

[Attack Power: 554~571]

[Armor: 215~243 (extra +100)]

[Skill: Head Strike (delivers a heavy blow to the enemy, dealing 150% of attack power in damage, causing the enemy to fall into a 2-second state of dizziness); Fury (after taking 10 hits, enters a fury state, increasing attack speed by 20%); Crack Earth Strike (swings the hammer heavily, dealing 80% attack damage to enemies within five meters, adds 1 layer of Corrupted Mark); Basic Corrupted Shell (Armor +100)]

[Talent: Alchemy]

…

“Goodness, an elite monster with four skills, also with Corrupted Shell.”

Clearly, with over three hundred armor, this guy’s defense was terrifyingly strong.

Plus, there were eleven ordinary goblins around.

The strength of the goblins here was quite terrifying.

They could easily obliterate a survivor team of a hundred people.

Cao Xing did not rush over immediately but continued looking for something in this hall.

Behind the group of goblins, Cao Xing seemed to spot a row of treasure boxes!

A total of four treasure boxes, two silver treasure boxes, two bronze treasure boxes.

“Truly worthy of being the Goblin Treasury! So many treasure boxes appeared at once!”

Moreover, what caught Cao Xing’s attention even more was the black altar.

Which seemed to be inlaid with a few shining gemstones!
