Chapter 105: Chapter 98: Can I Also Receive a ”Blessing”?

Ron stood in front of Workshop No. 14 in the East District, holding a brand-new key.

Although this two-story building was not as impressive as the independent towers of the advanced apprentices, it was a remarkably luxurious accommodation for someone who had just been promoted to a professional alchemist.

The brick-red exterior walls, iron-framed windows, and the small flower bed at the front all reflected the school’s importance attached to alchemists.

The two of them together moved Ron’s few personal belongings into the workshop, most of the furniture had already been sent according to Gwyneth’s arrangements.

The interior space of East District No. 14 was even more spacious than Ron imagined—the first floor served as a reception hall and a magic potion refining room, while the second floor had a bedroom and a small experimental area.

”It’s amazing.”

Ron looked around with satisfaction, especially at the spacious and well-lit magic potion refining room, equipped with all kinds of exquisite tools and equipment:

”Much better than I imagined.”

After placing the last box of herbs, Andre wiped the sweat from his forehead and proactively offered to take his leave.

As a member of the royal family, he claimed there was no extra privilege, but in truth there were still some perks, at least he didn’t have to worry about his accommodation.

Moreover, since the other party didn’t actively invite him to stay, it was best to leave promptly.

Ron nodded, bid farewell to Andre, and then eagerly headed to the magic potion refining room.

Just as he was about to stock up on some potions for sale after officially opening, a completely unfamiliar yet wonderfully familiar feeling surged from within his heart.

It was an indescribable existence, neither tangible nor void, like a trickle of clear spring quietly flowing into his spiritual sea.

Ron couldn’t even determine whether it came from outside or stemmed from within, as if it existed in a completely different dimension that happened to intersect with the real world.

This energy seemed to possess an unparalleled purity, without any impurities or negative effects, like the most primitive and pure form of energy in the universe.

Even a brief contact with it brought him an unprecedented feeling of mental purification, as if something silently cleansed a trace of shadow deep within his consciousness.

”Is this...” Ron widened his eyes in surprise, almost dropping the test tube in his hand, ”’Grace’?”

Lady Allen had once mentioned that when a young person experiences a breakthrough under a master’s guidance, the pure energy generated from this growth is given back to the master as ”Grace”.

But at this moment, he clearly felt a trace of subtle ”Grace” flowing into his spiritual world, minuscule yet incredibly distinct.

That feeling was like suddenly finding a drop of dew in the desert, insignificant yet precious due to its purity.

Ron soon traced the source of the Grace:

His mind automatically conjured the image from the previous Magic Circuit Optimization class where Eric asked him to share his meditation experience on stage.

At the time, he used the metaphor ”water flow brushing the riverbed” to clearly explain the principle of circular flow, eliciting resonance among his classmates.

Especially the thin apprentice with glasses, Ron remembered seeing a flash of realization in his eyes, even nodding slightly in agreement.

It was a heartfelt gratitude, born from finally understanding a problem that had plagued him for a long time.

”I see...” He finally realized, placing the test tube on the rack beside him, his eyes shimmering with excitement:

”Not only formal teaching, but as long as you can genuinely help others understand and grow, allowing them to express heartfelt gratitude, you can receive feedback of ’Grace’.”

This discovery greatly excited Ron.

He originally thought ”Grace” was an exclusive benefit for masters, needing long-term systematic guidance to earn.

Unexpectedly, he could also earn this precious pure energy simply by sharing experiences that genuinely benefit others.

Although the ”Grace” obtained today was minuscule, almost as insignificant as a drop in the ocean, its presence proved the viability of this path.

This also explained why in the school, those seasoned advanced apprentices often substitute for masters and periodically hold small sharing sessions to impart experience to junior apprentices.

Ron’s eyes gleamed as he felt that trace of elusive ”Grace” settling in his body.

This energy seemed stored in a special dimension, neither mixing with spiritual power nor affecting the magic flow, as if sealed in an independent space, ready to be called upon to purify spiritual contamination.

”Looks like I must seize any opportunity to showcase myself in the future.”

Ron internally decided, realizing this was a win-win choice:

”By sharing knowledge, not only can I enhance my understanding of skills, accumulate experience points, but also gain this precious pure energy called ’Grace’.”

”Once the workshop stabilizes, maybe I can consider taking on a few truly gifted students. The next batch of candidate apprentices should arrive in a while; we can see if there are any good seedlings then.”

Ron began to form a vague plan in his mind, imagining a corner of the workshop with several workbenches and a few focused young faces conducting experiments under his guidance:

”Those beginners just introduced to magic potion making often need systematic guidance...”

Speaking of Grace, he couldn’t help but think of his teaching master, Lady Allen.

Since he completed the alchemist certification, he hadn’t visited the herb store much.
