Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

As Wu Chang shot Kent’s head open, the player’s Blood-Colored Will dissipated, displayed on his attribute panel, his Strength and Will Attributes each increased by 1 point, and Inspiration increased by two points.

This wasn’t the first time completing Blood-Colored Will, having gone through the same process many times, he initially just glanced at it without paying much attention.

He was about to shift his focus when he suddenly sensed something amiss, discovering that the attributes gained through resentment did not get suppressed to 10%, but were fully added onto the current attribute panel.

Was it his special Exorcism Talent, or was the power accumulated within the dungeon not subject to extra attribute suppression?

He looked at the vital energy floating from Kent’s dead body, allowing True Self to devour the vital energy.

Strength +3.

Oh ho.

Wu Chang could be certain, given Kent’s stats, the vital energy in his body would never give Wu Chang a strength +30; hence, in the dungeon, accumulated attributes indeed are not affected by extra attribute suppression.

He was initially excited but soon calmed down.

No, in other A-Level dungeons on the verge of losing control, devouring elite monsters to gain 30 points of strength is not rare; from a certain perspective, the ability to accumulate attributes was still weakened.

For others, it’s weakened, but for him, geometric weakening is actually an enhancement.

Because after weakening, his ability no longer touches the Desolate Realm Barrier, without the constraint of the Desolate Realm Barrier, his accumulated attributes can increase in full.

Thinking about it like this, the Numerical God indeed has not abandoned him.

Though Sea Giant’s Infinite Growth is actually suppressed when considering the A-Level dungeon’s expected yield.

But the attributes obtained through exorcism are genuine and identical, the dark red resentment, no matter what dungeon, always one free attribute, one will, and two inspirations.

Even the Cursed Dungeon cannot influence the effectiveness of exorcism; this talent’s authority level is indeed high.

Having confirmed the attributes, Wu Chang shifted his focus back to the Item dropped from the dark red resentment, which was a white belt.

”Item Name: White Ghost”

”Artifact Level: B”

”Item Skills: Swiftness”

”Skill Description: When equipped with White Ghost, the player’s movement speed increases by 20%, the speed of vehicles piloted by the player increases by 10%, and the guiding time, charging time, loading time, rate of fire, and aiming time for all skills and item skills used by the player are reduced by 10%.”

”Item Skills: White Ghost”

”Skill Description: Activate the skill to temporarily enter the White Ghost state. During the duration of the White Ghost state, you cannot be locked or aimed at by any technological weapons, and when affected by the area strike of technological weapons, there is a 30% chance to be immune to damage. Skill duration: Will Attribute / 2 seconds, skill cooldown time: Will Attribute × 1000 seconds.”

”Note: White Ghost state is elastic in timing, can be paused or restarted at any time. Only when all duration is consumed does the skill enter cooldown time.”

No wonder during the charge towards Kent in the dark red resentment, the resentment owner was not sniped by the gunmen; it was because he entered the White Ghost state, making it impossible for the gunmen to aim.

Too bad the White Ghost only targeted technological weapons and not physical attacks. The resentment owner barely rushed in front of Kent, only to be easily put down by Kent and executed on the spot.

Young, too young.

In the Abyssal Game, acting hastily without collecting sufficient intelligence first could result in large losses.

What, you can’t see other players’ resentment, no source of intelligence? Then it’s fine.

After taking down Kent, the next step is to deal with the three gunmen.

These gunmen were brainwashed by Kent since childhood, utterly loyal to Kent, leaving any behind is trouble, and without Kent, they’ve lost the meaning of Life, sending them down to reunite, they would surely be willing.

The attribute values of the gunmen are not high; each gunman provided Wu Chang with only 0.5 Strength Value.

In other dungeons, he’d be too lazy to even look at such value; however, in the Cursed Dungeon, it’s highly significant.

After Kent and the gunmen, the next ones to be settled are the people present from White Old K.

Due to the fermentation of battles over this period, everyone in the scene has already been lost in Chaos Authority; as long as Wu Chang wishes, he can slaughter them all.

A few senior officials have strong willpower, detected abnormalities during the battle, remaining lucid, yet the Deep Water Bite accumulated within their bodies is enough to make them lose control of their bodies like the gunmen.

When Wu Chang’s real body and True Self walked out from behind the cover, only they could still maintain mobility.

They first went to the fat bald guy’s side; they were guests, few in number, lacking firepower, in an absolute disadvantage during the gunfight, twenty or so people initially, only nine left gasping for air.

But merely gasping for air, Survivors each suffer from at least three gunshot wounds; death is just a matter of time.

Old Wu, kind-hearted, couldn’t stand to see them suffer, shot them each, freeing them from their suffering.

Seven stout clients, their standards vastly differ from the gunmen’s, each only providing 0.5 Strength Value.

The other two were quite surprising, being contestants in Secondary Wars and Ace Wars, their strength comparable to Gray Wolf, each provided 1.5 Strength.

After dealing with the clients, it was the turn of White Old K’s people themselves, same as before, the gunmen certainly can’t be left.

Wu Chang, calm and composed, stepped into the darkness, dragged out gunmen one by one, then shot them away.

The entire process was without hesitation, without emotion.

Effortlessly as if crushing an ant rather than taking a human’s Life.
