Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 5367: Chapter 5368: Something Big Happened

Melbourne train station is located on the southeast side of the city center. The station’s interior space has been converted into a shopping center, making it one of the busiest places in Melbourne. Many tourists who visit Melbourne take pictures at the train station as a keepsake, unwittingly turning it into a landmark.

Every day, the place is packed with people, cramped and disorderly, which prompted the current government to allocate police forces to maintain order and ensure the normal operation of the train station as well as the safety of citizens and tourists.

However, for a city like Melbourne where everyone carries a gun, these measures are merely a drop in the bucket and far from sufficient. Violent incidents are frequent, and bloodshed continues unabated. Seeing little effectiveness, authorities later turn a blind eye, allowing things to take their own course, with some violent cases left unresolved.

Tourists are aware that the train station is a place of both prosperity and danger, but the danger is not enough to deter them. They know the risks, yet they still flock to the station.

Ye Jian, strolling through the pedestrian street of a foreign land, received a call from Xia Jinyuan. She answered with a smile curling at her lips but, upon hanging up, her expression turned serious, devoid of any hint of a smile.

She didn’t linger on the pedestrian street any longer, and immediately took a taxi to the direction of the train station.

The hotel they were staying at was not in the same direction as the train station, and the two who had moved separately weren’t in the same area either, but the time it took to get to the train station was roughly forty-five minutes for both.

Mr. Will arrived earlier than both of them. Xia Jinyuan did not actually arrive within the normal travel time. When Mr. Will suddenly asked him to go to the train station, Xia Jinyuan agreed with a ”Sure,” but alarms were going off in his head.

Familiar with Melbourne, Xia Jinyuan told Ye Jian to meet at an address close to the train station. They would meet there before going to see Mr. Will together.

While still on the phone with Ye Jian, Xia Jinyuan thought that he needed to contact V8, who had been closely watching them from the shadows, to ask if there was any situation. As it happened, right after he finished speaking with Ye Jian, V8’s call came through.

”Damn it, finally got through!”

As soon as the call connected, V8’s relieved voice could be heard, ”Q King, I’ve got a situation here! Noah pulled back all of the surveillance on you guys, and he even took away all the cameras from our rooms. There’s something fishy here! Why would he suddenly change his mind?”

The intelligence from V8 was extremely timely!

Noah’s role was the same as his, both were in Melbourne for a mission. Thinking from Noah’s perspective, Xia Jinyuan surmised there were two possibilities.

The first: Noah suspected their identities.

The second: Noah did not suspect their identities.

Before checking into the hotel, Noah must have always been suspicious of their identities, hence the constant probing and assigning people to keep a comprehensive watch on them, including surveillance in the rooms.

In what situation would he stop watching them?

He would stop monitoring them if he no longer suspected their identities! Hence, he decided to pull back the surveillance and remove the cameras.

Why did he suddenly trust them?

Something must have happened that convinced Noah that they were indeed mercenaries and not Chinese operatives sent to rescue Alice Cheng.

Could it be...

Suddenly, Xia Jinyuan’s expression turned grim, and he immediately said to the driver with authority, ”Quick! Contact the ambassador and ask him to notify our home country immediately, there’s danger for another action team!”

Hearing this, V8 on the other end of the phone jumped in shock, ”What’s going on? What’s going on? Why are you suddenly saying that another group is in danger?”

What the hell is happening now?

He hadn’t said anything just now, had he?
