Chapter 5027: Lieutenant Colonel Xia Wants His HoneymoonEditor: Henyee Translations

Xia Jinyuan’s heart was beating faster. He retracted his arms and hugged her waist even tighter. He didn’t stop until Ye Jian was pressed tightly against his body.

Xia Jinyuan, whose breathing was accelerating, tilted his head and kissed Ye Jian’s smooth forehead forcefully. ”Look at you. Company Commander Zhu and I never thought that the female soldiers would lose. After half a year of harsh training, we saw the improvement of the female soldiers. Even if we want to see them lose, will they be willing to do so?

”Although the difficulty of all the combat subjects has increased, the military didn’t blindly do it. It’s because the female soldiers’ training content and results have been comprehensively considered before raising the difficulty of the combat.

”You hope that the female soldiers will win. You hope that the female soldiers can work together to realize each other’s dreams. It’s the same with the military.

”They spent so much effort to choose female soldiers with strong comprehensive abilities from all the military units so that they could successfully form a female special forces unit. How could the military treat the special forces casually?”

Ye Jian, who was still in good spirits, smiled even more. She felt proud. ”That’s right. They’ll definitely win.”

”After they win, they might sit on the top of the mountain like me and watch the sun rise and set. They might enjoy the scenery of the desert.”

Xia Jinyuan specially observed Ye Jian’s expression and confirmed that when she mentioned the female soldier again, she didn’t look sad at all. He raised his eyebrows and smiled. ”That might not be the case. Previously, didn’t you fail to admire the scenery as well?”

”That’s different. There are many of them. As long as someone takes the lead, they’ll definitely take a good look at the scenery around them. I’ve seen the scenery of the northwest now. When I return to the military unit, I should have a chance to see the desert scenery you talked about.” Ye Jian’s eyes flickered as she laid on his shoulder and said softly. There was yearning on her face. ”The beauty of the rivers of Jiangnan, the beauty of the yellow soil in the northwest, the beauty of the Xinjiang desert... We should go see all of them, right?”

Ye Jian’s open-mindedness made the smile in Xia Jinyuan’s eyes deepen. ”The beauty of Jiangnan is a little difficult. We can go on our honeymoon and see it together. The beauty of the yellow soil in the northwest is right in front of us. We’ll see the beauty of the Xinjiang desert together.”

Thinking about the years she would have to walk in the future, Ye Jian was filled with anticipation.

The female soldiers had their own paths to walk, and she had her own path to walk too. There was no need to be too sad. They would meet again one day.

After chatting for a long time, Ye Jian became more and more indifferent. The last trace of sorrow in her heart dissipated.

She smiled sweetly and looked forward to the future.

It was rare for Xia Jinyuan to be so relaxed. He hugged the girl he loved and talked about the rivers and mountains in their country.

He talked about the places he had been to, the people he had met, the things he had encountered, and why he joined the Xueyu unit. ”The old company commander only asked me what my plans were when I was about to return to school. He asked me if I wanted to go to a better military unit to train and if I wanted to become an ace soldier.

”At that time, Old Xia was frustrated with me. He thought that even if I got into the military school, I would still be a bastard who would waste the food of the country. I wanted to fight for my pride, so when I heard that there was such a good place and that I was a soldier, I agreed without hesitation.”

Xia Jinyuan had never told Ye Jian how he knew about the Xueyu unit. Now that he mentioned it, Ye Jian listened to it with relish. The real story and the plot were so filled with ups and downs. She had to listen carefully.
