Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 5007: AssessmentEditor: Henyee Translations

Facing Major General Yang’s doubts, Xia Jinyuan didn’t explain further. He only said, ”The more skills one has, the better.” Major General Yang immediately understood why he could accept two years of separation.

Right on the heels of that, Xia Jinyuan continued, ”Do you think Azure Bird will need two years to leave the air force?”

Hearing that, Major General was full of respect for him. With Azure Bird’s ability to learn things, she really didn’t need two years.

With Xia Jinyuan’s explanation, Major General Yang completely believed him.

After reporting to Commander Xia, Major General Yang wanted to know if the father and son had a tacit understanding and how much they understood each other. He deliberately asked Commander Xia if he felt that Xia Jinyuan would change his mind midway.

”They couldn’t bear to part for half a year, and he pestered me until I felt dizzy. Now, they’re willing to separate for two years. Do you think they’ll treat this matter as child’s play and change their mind after that?”

Commander Xia pondered for a moment and smiled. ”No, Little Six won’t change his decision easily. Little Ye is the same. The two of them have their own opinions. They won’t go back on their word.

”They couldn’t bear to part for half a year, but he’s willing to give her up for two years. I think Little Ye didn’t agree at first, but Little Six thought that it was feasible, so Little Ye ultimately nodded and agreed.”

Major General Yang really believed that although the father and son had a unique way of interacting with each other, their relationship was actually very good.

He specially called to confirm it, but Commander Xia didn’t need to. He could guess who was the one who suggested that Ye Jian could train with the air force.

”You’re right. Little Six was the one who suggested it first before Little Ye agreed.”

Commander Xia glanced at his subordinate who had been following him for more than ten years and said with a faint smile, ”What’s the matter? Did you want to test me to see if I understood Little Six?”

”Hahaha, no, no. I just wanted to know if your relationship with Little Six was good. It’s very good. There’s no problem at all. In the future, when you quarrel with Little Six, even if it looks like you’ll pull out your guns, I’ll be able to watch calmly.”

”You like to worry too much.” Commander Xia didn’t blame Major General Yang. They had known each other for many years, and they were friends in private. There was no need to worry about these harmless things.

He took out a document and handed it over. ”Look at this. The headquarters has decided to assess the female soldier led by Little Ye on the 21st of March. They will also send a special forces unit from the northern military district to fight against them. All the combat subjects have been drawn up. Come and see if there are any problems.”

Since it was related to Ye Jian, Major General Yang took the document seriously and looked through it. There were a total of 18 combat subjects. It was mainly jungle and desert combat.

There were 12 small subjects in the 18 subjects. They basically included all the subjects for the special forces assessment. It could be seen how much importance the headquarters placed on the female special forces unit.

”Ye Jian did training for these subjects. I don’t think there’s a problem.” Major General Yang had confidence in Ye Jian. A total of 30 tests wouldn’t be a problem.

If Ye Jian was fine, the soldiers she led would definitely be fine too.

He trusted Ye Jian so much.

Commander Xia felt that there was nothing wrong with it. ”What I mean is, do you want to make it more difficult? It’ll be better for Little Ye if it’s a little difficult and challenging.”

”I’m just afraid that the 20 female soldiers aren’t strong enough and won’t be able to challenge more difficult subjects.” Major General Yang was inclined to be conservative. It was beneficial for Ye Jian to increase the difficulty and challenge. However, if the female soldiers couldn’t complete the assessment, it was very likely that this female special forces unit wouldn’t be able to be established successfully.
