Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 5022: Hard To Look Back OnEditor: Henyee Translations

They answered the squad leader in unison. After a while, the female soldiers wiped their tears. They wouldn’t disappoint their instructor. They could definitely do it!

”Captain, the female soldiers are in high spirits. We have to be careful.” A male soldier from the Blood Wolf Special Forces, who had been paying attention to the squad leader of the female soldiers, said in a low voice. ”The sudden departure of their instructor has stimulated the female soldiers’ fighting spirit.”

”It’s a little strange. The confrontation is imminent. As their instructor, why did she leave at the last minute? Is it part of her plan? Isn’t she afraid that her soldiers’ morale will collapse?”

The male soldiers from the Blood Wolf Special Forces, who didn’t know much about the female soldier class, were at a loss. There were still a few hours before the confrontation started, but the instructor, who was responsible for stabilizing their morale, actually left. What kind of tactic was this?

Squad Leader Hu didn’t know either.

”The instructor left, but the company commander is still here. Why would the morale of the soldiers collapse?” Although he didn’t know, Squad Leader Hu said, ”The instructor is only in charge of training. The real backbone is still the company commander. With the company commander around, the female soldiers will naturally look for the company commander if anything happens.”

However, Company Commander Zhu said that he wouldn’t intervene in anything. He was just a mascot this time.

Well, he could be a mascot to stabilize the soldiers’ morale.

Facing Ye Jian’s entrustment, the mascot smiled and sighed. ”Instructor Ye, let me tell you the truth. Actually, I want the female special forces to be successfully formed more than you. Although our land has always been dominated by male soldiers, it’s better for the female soldiers to do some things.

”Nowadays, the lives of the commoners are getting better and better. Tourists will come to take photos of us from time to time in depopulated zones like the desert. We male soldiers are all straightforward and rough people. You know that the military unit is tough. If you’re wrong, you’re wrong. We won’t tolerate your nonsense. Hence, sometimes, when tourists meet us, they’re quite unfortunate.

”With the female soldiers around, their methods will be much gentler. You know what happened last year. Something almost happened because there were no female soldiers.

”Don’t worry. Since I’m here, I’ll definitely keep an eye on the female soldiers and encourage them. If there are any problems, I’ll definitely resolve them in time and not delay the female soldiers.

”Alas, actually, I want you to stay too. I just don’t understand why the military wants you to leave at this time. Won’t the female soldiers lose their backbone? There’s no hurry to wean them off, right?”

Xia Jinyuan coughed lightly. He thought that the company commander’s last sentence was a little crude. He was worried that Ye Jian would feel awkward.

Ye Jian did feel a little awkward when she heard that. She smiled and said, ”I can understand why the military asked me to leave at this time. They want to see the female soldiers’ reaction.

”It doesn’t matter if an instructor like me is present or not. If their strength is limited to me being present, it’ll be troublesome.

”It’ll be perfect if I can stimulate their potential with my departure.”

”If that’s the case, as the company commander, I can rest assured!” As he spoke, he looked at his watch. It was getting late. ”It’s getting late. Captain Xia and you still have to take turns driving. I’ll send you off here. If there’s a chance... we’ll meet again.

”I don’t know if there’s a chance,” the company commander added sadly.

Ye Jian nodded. ”Of course, there’s a chance. If there’s a chance, I still have to come back and visit the female soldiers. I hope that you’ll let me in when the time comes. I hope I won’t be rejected just because I caused trouble for the camp for the past half a year.”
