Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 4818: You Still Have Me

Xia Jinyuan, who was wholeheartedly planning for Ye Jian, talked for more than two hours on the phone. A few times, the train passed through the tunnel and caused the signal to be cut off. After that, he immediately called back and continued preaching.

Ye Jian listened attentively. If she didn’t have a good memory, she would have taken out her notebook and written down everything.

Xia Jinyuan specially took up a morning to impart his experience to Ye Jian. For this, he even poured three large cups of water in advance and placed them on his desk. He said that this way, he didn’t need to get up to pour water for himself when his mouth was dry. He could drink casually without any delay.

“In the new company, you’ll be an instructor. It’s very important to give the soldiers a solid first impression. You can’t be too close to them. It’ll make them think that you’re easy to talk to. In the military unit, easy-going superiors will often raise scattered soldiers.

“You can be strict, but you can’t be rigid. When it’s time to be tough, you have to be tough, especially when it comes to principles, discipline, and rules. There’s no relationship or favor to speak of.

“There’s no need to cling to your own opinions. We can listen to what needs to be heard, but remember not to let the soldiers lead you by the nose. It’s a huge taboo. You can’t let the soldiers think that you don’t have any opinions. Only good generals have good soldiers!

“Every soldier has their shortcomings and strengths. When you go over, the first thing you have to do is to understand all the soldiers’ personalities, weaknesses, and strengths! Once the other party tries to provoke your authority as an instructor, you have to attack their shortcomings directly. Once you attack, the instructor will never have any trouble again.

“During training, you’ll be the instructor of the soldiers. You have to establish your prestige and let them know how to respect you. In life, you’ll become the soldiers’ friend. You have to build trust with them and nurture your relationship with them. You have to let them know that you’re a good instructor and not just strict. If you’re strict in life, you won’t be a good instructor. You’ll be a harsh and petty instructor that the soldiers dislike.

“Remember, you’re a general and they’re your soldiers. Your relationship can be as good as brothers and sisters. However, you must let the soldiers know that no matter how good your relationship is, you’re still their general. As long as they make mistakes, you’ll punish them mercilessly.

“Don’t hide your strength like in the past. When it’s time to attack, you have to attack. You have to shock them to make them accept you.

“There’s no need to be humble. The military sent you to lead the new company because they saw your abilities. If you’re too humble, they might think that you’re hypocritical.

“I’m not too worried about other things. I’m most worried that you’ll be humble. Remember, don’t be humble in the military unit. Soldiers who don’t want to fight for the first place are not good soldiers!”

At this moment, the body of the cell phone was already a little hot. Xia Jinyuan only gave up when the battery on the cell phone couldn’t hold on anymore.

After two hours of preaching and teaching, Xia Jinyuan felt that it was time to hang up.

“When you reach that new place, take good care of yourself. Don’t bear with the grievances alone. You still have me. If you have any grievances, feel free to tell me. Don’t hide them in your heart. It’s not good for your physical and mental health.”

Hearing this, Ye Jian, who had a serious expression on her face, smiled slightly. She was like a lotus petal stained with morning dew. Instantly, the young man sitting opposite her on the bed blushed as if he was on fire.

“When have you ever seen me suffer and not say anything? It happened in the past, but it won’t happen now. Not to mention suffering, it’s not my style anymore.”

In this life, her military career changed Ye Jian’s fate and personality.
