The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2466: Chapter 2466: Scarcity Marketing (2)

”You’ve worked hard.” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”Have a seat and drink some water.”

”I’ve talked more today than I do in a year.” Hao Jian gulped down a cup, ”But I just said, our medicinal wine is definitely going to be a hit.”

”Whether it becomes a hit or not will depend on the sales later on.” Yang Ruxin chuckled, ”That’s on you guys.”

”No problem, the wine shops are all set up and just waiting for stock.” Hao Jian looked smug, ”I promise it will be a hit.”

Yang Ruxin was noncommittal. She wasn’t that optimistic; new things take time to be accepted. Given time, they’ll definitely be a hit, because she had faith in spatial products.

”Ruxin, shouldn’t our wine have a name?” Hao Jian suddenly asked.

”Of course.” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”Let’s call it Xiaocang River Wine.” She pointed to a few ceramics on the table, ”I designed these wine jars.”

Only then did Hao Jian and Qin Shou notice that the wine jar already had ”Xiaocang River Wine” engraved on it, and at the bottom, there was a ”Yang” with Arabic numerals beside it, meaning each jar was numbered, and only Yang Ruxin’s people knew these numbers.

”But sis, aren’t wine jars used to store wine? Why did you design bottles like this?” Qin Shou picked up a slender bottle with a puzzled look, ”This bottle can’t hold much.”

”These are for holding red wine.” Yang Ruxin chuckled, ”Didn’t you taste it before? Each bottle can hold a little over a kilo, we’re going for the high-end market.”

Hao Jian and Qin Shou exchanged glances, suddenly feeling that their business acumen paled in comparison to her.

On April 1st, the medicinal wine workshop started operating, and after half a month, the first batch of 500 jars of Ginseng Wine came out, targeting ailments like palpitations, shortness of breath, nervous breakdowns, and physical weakness.

Qin Shou and Hao Jian took 200 jars, and Yang Ruxin sent another 100 jars to Beijing, having Gu Di use Aunt Hong Ye to present them to the Empress Dowager, Emperor, and Crown Prince in the palace.

Subsequently, they also released over a dozen varieties like Eucommia Bark Wine for kidney deficiencies and Poria Wine for insomnia.

The Qin and Hao families are merchants by nature, so they had their methods for selling, handing out flyers, offering free samples, even hiring people to play sick customers grateful for the medicinal wine’s healing.

In short, the sales tactics were endless.

Of course, they didn’t forget to leverage the fame of Yunmen Mountain’s Divine Doctor Dao Xuzi.

After this series of maneuvers, the medicinal wine gradually gained a foothold, with Ginseng Wine being the best-seller.

”Sis, the Ginseng Wine is sold out.” Hao Jian excitedly ran over, ”Should we increase production?”

”No.” Yang Ruxin shook her head, ”Starting next month, each store can only sell 50 jars a month, no more, and it’s the same for the other wines.”

”Why?”

”Do you understand scarcity marketing?”

Hao Jian shook his head.

”Let me put it this way.” Yang Ruxin looked at Hao Jian, ”Have you eaten now?”

Hao Jian nodded.

”If I give you a chicken leg now, how would you feel?”

Hao Jian patted his belly: ”I guess I could squeeze it in?”

Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but giggle, ”Even if you could squeeze it in, wouldn’t it feel a bit forced?”
