The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2465: Chapter 2465: Workshop Completed (Part 1)

After everyone left, Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but giggle. In less than two hours, Luo Qiaoqiao and Ma Laiwang’s lifelong matters, which had been troublesome for ages, were settled. Wasn’t that neat and efficient? She really liked this style.

The weather was getting warmer. Everyone started to take off their heavy cotton clothes and put on jackets. Yang Ruxin’s belly grew larger, and she even began to feel frequent fetal movements.

However, the content of Gu Qingheng’s letters changed, turning into reports of joy, not distress.

Yang Ruxin knew that war couldn’t be entirely good. Previously, many soldiers from Prince Yun’s troops had died, and even Gu Qingheng almost succumbed, as the opponents were well-trained monsters.

Of course, she understood that he was trying not to worry her, so she acted as if she believed him. However, the concern in her heart grew heavier.

Mid-month, Gu Yao couldn’t stay idle anymore and suggested going to assist Gu Qingheng. Erni no longer stopped him.

Yang Ruxin let Gu Yao take a large eagle with him, instructing him to relay the situation from the frontline promptly.

By the end of March, the medicinal wine workshop was completed, not only constructed but also included a large wine cellar.

Simultaneously, a stone bridge was built to facilitate the Yang Family’s access to the village.

Since the enterprise produced a series of medicinal wines and teas, the workshop was divided into two parts: one for drying and preparing medicinal herbs, and the other for brewing.

Yang Ruxin couldn’t brew wine and couldn’t produce modern brewing equipment, so she could only rely on the brewing techniques of this era. Initially, they would buy spirits for further processing; if the market expanded, they might brew their own. Anyway, the Hao Family and Qin Family dealt in grains, which was advantageous for brewing.

In fact, medicinal wines existed during this era, sold in many pharmacies. However, her medicinal wines had advantages such as well water from her space and herbs that outsiders couldn’t match or replicate.

The first batch of workers included only twelve, who signed employment and confidentiality contracts, including Ma Laiwang.

”Xinxin, are we really capable of growing medicinal herbs?” someone not selected asked.

”Of course.” Yang Ruxin nodded, ”Although I have my own medicinal field, if the sales go well later, it’s hardly enough. So, as long as you plant medicinal herbs up to standard, the workshop will purchase as much as you grow. We can sign a contract on this. If I don’t buy, you could sue me at the Governor’s Office. Of course, if you don’t plant well, I could ask you for compensation.”

”But we don’t know how to plant herbs.”

”There’s someone to teach, and seeds can even be provided to you.”

”Alright, I’ll sign the contract with you.”

”Me too...”

Yang Ruxin was surprised at everyone’s unprecedented enthusiasm, which kept them busy for most of the day before things calmed down.

”Xinxin, why don’t you tell me what to do, and I’ll help you?” Dong Wenxiu felt sorry for her daughter. ”You’re heavily pregnant. It makes me very anxious.”

”Mom, I’m fine.” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”Once everything is arranged, I won’t intervene anymore. Besides, I’ve been sitting all the time, not tiring.”

”Alright.” Dong Wenxiu could only sigh, ”Then I’ll see if there’s anything to eat and bring some over for you.”

Yang Ruxin nodded.

Just as Dong Wenxiu left, Hao Jian and Qin Shou came in, grinning, ”Sis, everything is ready. We’re just waiting to start.”
