The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1780: Chapter 1780: Learning the Rules (5)

Wei Bingcen heard his daughter went to Beijing and breathed a sigh of relief. As long as his elder brother couldn’t find Wei Yao, he would have something to say, and they decided to head towards Beijing.

As for Wei Yao’s safety... since the Yang Family had said someone would accompany her, there should be no problem.

At this moment, Yang Ruxin was unaware that someone was coming to seek refuge with her, because she was balancing a bowl of water on her head while walking like a cat.

Early in the morning, the Crown Princess Consort had sent over a nanny named Yu, to teach her the palace etiquette.

Nanny Yu was an old nanny in the palace, reportedly having entered the palace at the age of eight, and had been there for thirty years. She once served by Yunnuan’s side, and after Yunnuan passed away, she served by the Crown Prince, and after the Crown Prince got married, she served the Crown Princess Consort.

So it could be said that she was a very loyal nanny by the Crown Prince’s side.

Gu Qingheng was a reliable aide by the Crown Prince’s side, so naturally, the Crown Princess Consort wouldn’t send any disloyal people over to trouble Yang Ruxin.

Although Nanny Yu was very amiable and didn’t intentionally make things difficult for Yang Ruxin, the palace rules truly existed. To achieve them flawlessly, one had to practice diligently, which was very arduous.

”Madam is doing very well,” Nanny Yu said, smiling with satisfaction. ”If your steps were a bit smaller, it would be even better.”

Yang Ruxin then shortened her steps: ”Nanny, I heard the palace is very big. With such small steps, how far do I have to walk?”

”Hehe...” Nanny Yu laughed, ”Madam, these small steps are for when you enter the grand hall; outside, there’s always a soft sedan chair...”

Yang Ruxin nodded but forgot she had a bowl of water on her head, and it fell immediately. Although she caught it, she got splashed with water all over.

Nanny Yu was startled and hurriedly attempted to apologize, because in any situation, it was always considered the servant’s fault, as was the custom in the palace and large families.

But before she could kneel down, Yang Ruxin grabbed her: ”Nanny, what are you doing? It’s my own fault, how could I let you apologize?”

A chuckling Du Juan quickly came over to help handle the situation.

Nanny Yu was dumbfounded.

”I’m such a stupid student, Nanny, please don’t mind...” Yang Ruxin glanced at Du Juan, and suddenly a gleam flashed in her eyes.

”What are you saying?” Nanny Yu laughed, ”It was this servant who didn’t teach well.” At first, when she heard this madam was a country girl, she worried it might be challenging to teach her properly. However, upon meeting her, she found her to be an agile woman, and now realized that she was also a kind master.

”The master shows the way; the disciple must pursue it,” Yang Ruxin waved her hand. ”Though I’m a bit dull, my servant girl is clever.”

Du Juan immediately felt a chill.

”I can bring a servant girl when I enter the palace, right?” Yang Ruxin smiled mischievously at Nanny Yu, ”So my girl has to learn the rules too. So... I’ll go change clothes first; Nanny, teach Du Juan, I’ll return shortly...”

”Madam!” Du Juan protested.

”This is called sharing blessings and hardships,” Yang Ruxin patted Du Juan’s shoulder, then signaled Hong Yi and Lun Yi to follow her upstairs to change clothes.

Nanny Yu couldn’t help but smile, thinking this master and servant seemed more like sisters, and strangely, she found herself liking Yang Ruxin a little more.

Du Juan pouted but followed to practice the catwalk anyway.

At this moment, an eagle’s cry rang through the air, and Xiaohei swooped into the room, then hopped up the stairs to the second floor.
