The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 907: Chapter 907: King Kang (5)

Gu Qingheng nodded, bent down, and plucked an arrow from a skull, frowning slightly.

”What’s wrong?” Yang Ruxin hurried over.

Gu Qingheng handed her the arrow.

Yang Ruxin examined it carefully and found that despite the years, it was still in perfect condition, with only some rust on the shaft, but the engravings on it were still clear: Kang.

”Kang?” Yang Ruxin’s brows furrowed deeply as her eyes suddenly widened, ”Could it be Prince Kang, Zhao Gou?”

”Prince Kang, Zhao Gou?” Gu Qingheng also frowned, ”You mean...”

”After Emperor Huizong and Emperor Qinzhong were abducted by the Jurchens, Prince Kang Zhao Gou should have ascended the throne in Yingtian, but he was intercepted by Zhao Cheng, who then established the Great Qian Dynasty. Zhao Cheng also redrew the entire nation’s districts, as if to erase all traces of the past...” Yang Ruxin stroked her chin, ”And Zhao Gou disappeared without a trace. Didn’t you say there were no historical records? Could it be that after he died, he was buried here?”

”That theory might not be wrong, but if he escaped, then who built such a massive and concealed tomb for him?” Gu Qingheng frowned, ”At that time, he was just Prince Kang and didn’t know he would become Emperor. Emperors usually start building their tombs from the moment they ascend the throne, but he was just a prince and wouldn’t have pre-built it.”

Yang Ruxin shook her head, ”We can’t guess that, unless...”

”Unless he had descendants,” Gu Qingheng picked up, ”This tomb was built by his descendants.”

Yang Ruxin nodded, ”However, have you heard the legend of Xiaocang Mountain? The story of the Divine Dragon Cangming and his lover, do you think it’s a smoke grenade released by his descendants?”

”It’s possible, but these are all speculations,” Gu Qingheng smiled, ”Let’s not worry about whose tomb it is for now, it seems there are no other paths, we can only go in and have a look...”

”There are words on the floor.” Lin Xiwang, who had almost fainted from the smoke earlier, had been sitting on the floor since arriving here, but now that he had recovered, he hurriedly pointed them out.

Gu Qingheng quickly brought the torch down, and indeed, the stone slab was engraved with a row of large characters: ”Those who arrive, kneel, kowtow.”

”No matter whose tomb it is inside, by coming here, we’re disturbing them. Besides, the person inside is indeed our ancestor, so it’s only right for us to kneel and kowtow,” Yang Ruxin glanced at the others, ”Come on, kneel down and give the ancestors a bow.”

So, the three of them knelt side by side on the stone slab and generously kowtowed three loud times.

However, no sooner had they finished kowtowing than the stone slab they were kneeling on sank slightly. Before they could even feel afraid, two torches suddenly lit on both sides of the stone door with a puffing sound, instantly brightening the place, and a stone platform rose in front of them.

There were squares drawn on the stone platform, some with characters engraved and some without.

”What is this?” Lin Xiwang, who was illiterate, didn’t recognize any of the things on it.

”This is... Sudoku,” Yang Ruxin blinked, ”There are three numbers missing, does it mean that if we figure out these three numbers, we can open the door?”

”Yes,” Gu Qingheng nodded, ”Look.” He pointed at the tightly closed door, ”There are numbers on that door knocker, pressing the correct three numbers will open it.”
