The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 897: Chapter 897: Rescued (1)

The sheer terror and the rapid descent made Yang Ruxin forget about the spatial device. Her only thought was that she was probably going to smash into pulp.

Yet, it seemed that fate still favored her, something caught her.

Because she had tumbled during the fall, she was face down when caught. Fortunately, the impact was on her stomach, and had it been on her neck, she probably would have died instantly.

”I don’t know if my ribs are broken,” Yang Ruxin grunted, then grasped the stick that had caught her stomach. However, even broken ribs were better than falling to her death and turning into pulp.

So, Sister Xin was still very grateful for the wooden branch that had jutted out.

Lying on it and taking a deep breath, she looked down to see nothing but endless darkness. Thankfully, looking up, the situation was different. The hole above wasn’t too far away; she could vaguely make out a small patch of sky, even two stars in the sky...

What lay below was unknown, so the only option was to climb up after the people above had gone. But how to climb was the challenge. She had fought and climbed mountains in her past life but had never rock climbed, and besides, rock climbers at least could see the rock face they were climbing, whereas she could see nothing.

Sighing softly, she suddenly felt a sting in her palm.

”Why do I drop the ball at critical moments? Forgot about my ace in the hole,” Yang Ruxin smacked her forehead and then flashed into the spatial device.

At the same time, a light flashed in the dark hole; someone above had thrown a torch down. If Yang Ruxin had been a step slower in entering the spatial device, she probably would have been discovered by the people above.

Though there was no lamp or sun in the spatial device, it was always bright. She lifted her clothes to check and found her chest was bruised, but thankfully, the ribs weren’t broken. After applying some ointment and massaging it, she felt much better.

”I didn’t have much of a chest to begin with, and now with this ordeal, it’s probably even smaller.” Yang Ruxin looked at her ”Wengweng” small steamed buns and sighed with gloom, ”I wonder if it’s damaged and won’t grow anymore...” In her past life, she was always sleek and cool; she never had a bulging chest, never revealed her disguise as a man, and now, after having crossed over and changed bodies, she still couldn’t fill out, that feeling... oh mother, it’s uncomfortable!

But the discomfort was fleeting. She hadn’t forgotten her current predicament. Going out wasn’t feasible, so best to rest for now. She lay directly on the small bed in the spatial device and fell asleep.

She didn’t know how long it had been when Yang Ruxin faintly heard the cry of an eagle. She opened her eyes to find that there seemed to be some light outside, and her chest no longer hurt. Checking it out, the bruising was almost invisible now, her master’s medicine was truly wonderful.

After hastily eating something, she left the spatial device and lay on the tree root that had saved her. By this time, her surroundings were not so dark, and she could vaguely make out some features of the cliffs around her.

Only then did she realize that the wooden branch that saved her was actually a tree root, extending out from some tree, conveniently saving her life.

More eagle cries came from above.

Yang Ruxin looked up to see Xiaohei, about six or seven meters away at the opening, craning its neck and looking down.

”Xiaohei, you can’t come down even if you keep staring. Go back and get Gu Qingheng to find someone to rescue me...” Yang Ruxin wasn’t sure if Xiaohei could hear her but shouted as loudly as possible.
