The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 895: Chapter 895: The Terrible Dream (5)

”Alright.” Lin Xiwang nodded, ”Sister, be careful.” Saying so, he passed the chopping knife in his hand.

”I don’t need it, you keep it for self-defense,” said Yang Ruxin with a smile, then got up and ran towards the back.

”Over there...” Soon, shouts of people came from afar, ”Quick, don’t let her get away...”

”Xinxin...” Xun Hui wiped her tears.

”Xinxin will be alright,” Qian Xiaoyun held Xun Hui’s hand.

Lin Xiwang also wiped away tears, ”Sister Ruxin is so awesome, she will definitely be alright, let’s go.”

Yang Ruxin quickly ran in another direction, she couldn’t go too fast though. If she did, the people behind wouldn’t be able to catch up. She could only control her pace, running just out of reach for who knows how long, her body drenched with sweat, and exhausted enough to choke. Of course, the pursuers behind her were exhausted like dogs as well but stuck to her like dog-skin plaster, relentlessly biting at her heels.

This would be the death of her if it continued.

But she couldn’t enter her space; what if those people, not seeing her, went after Xun Hui and the others? Therefore, she had to keep dragging these people around in the mountains.

She took a deep breath, crunched into a pear, and glanced at Xiaolun sleeping on her wrist like it was dead. This little guy was failing her at a crucial moment. If it were awake, would she need to run like a dog? Complaining aside, she still had to run.

It was just that the woods were too dark, and without a torch, she could only rely on her instinct. She hadn’t run far when suddenly she felt a void under her feet. Instinctively letting out a cry of alarm, she then fell downward at a rapid pace...

The pursuers quickly caught up, only to find that a large hole had collapsed in front of them. Although the opening wasn’t very large, it was pitch-black below. Even with a torch thrust down, the bottom was invisible. Throwing a stone into it yielded no sound, indicating it was exceptionally deep. For anyone falling in, survival was unlikely; they’d be crippled at best.

”What do we do?” The group looked to the lead old pole.

The old pole walked around the dark chasm, casually throwing a torch down into it, only moving on after watching the light disappear. He then waved his hand, signaling the retreat. Falling into such a deep pit meant either death or disability, and with disability preventing one from climbing out, the ultimate outcome was still death.

Meanwhile, at Xiaohong Building in Dapu East Village.

Gu Qingheng had been tossing and turning because he was worried about Yang Ruxin and couldn’t sleep. Although he had sent people to follow her into the mountains, he had received no news. Just before dawn, he finally fell asleep, only to immediately dream of Yang Ruxin falling from a height. He tried to catch her, but unable to move, he stretched out his hands in vain as he watched her fall...

”Xinxin...” Gu Qingheng shouted, and then suddenly sat up, only to find himself drenched in sweat. It was just a dream, but why did it feel so real? Touching his chest, he knew something was wrong; Ruxin was in danger. He had to find her, he must find her. Without further care for anything else, he got dressed and got off the bed.

”Brother Gu?” Xiaofeng rubbed his eyes as he stood there, just as Gu Qingheng opened his door. ”Did you have a nightmare? I heard you shouting Sister’s name...”

”Yes, I had a pretty scary dream.” Gu Qingheng stepped out the door, patting Xiaofeng’s head and taking a glance at Xiaoshan who was rubbing his eyes behind them. ”You two go back to bed. It’s not even dawn yet...” He felt somewhat embarrassed, having shouted so loudly that he even disturbed the neighboring Xiaofeng.
