The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 401: Chapter 401: I’m Hungry (Part 3)_1

Actually, with all the commotion that had been going on, people around had already heard it, and some were even watching from a distance and discussing it. Now that they saw Yang Ruxin coming out, everyone fell silent.

Yang Ruxin herself was composed, wearing a smile and letting everyone size her up.

”Xinxin, are you alright?” Aunt Hehua quietly came over and asked.

Yang Ruxin shook her head, ”I’m fine, thank you Auntie, we are going back to get busy with the festival preparations.”

”You better head back quickly.” Wang Hehua waved her hand.

After walking a few steps, Yang Ruxin stopped and turned back to look at Wang Hehua, ”Auntie, if you believe me, you can come over to sit down at our house when you have time.”

Wang Hehua was stunned for a moment, then quickly nodded, ”I’ll come over after the festival is over.”

Yang Ruxin smiled, then led Xiaofeng towards the outskirts of the village.

Xiaofeng had been silent since he stepped out of the main entrance of the old house, and even when he saw Aunt Hehua, he just politely greeted her and then quietly followed beside Yang Ruxin.

”What’s Xiaofeng thinking?” Once they had left the village, Yang Ruxin finally bent down and asked Xiaofeng.

”Big Sister, did Fourth Uncle bully Mother?” Xiaofeng bit his lip.

”Yes,” Yang Ruxin nodded, ”But Big Sister will definitely make those who have bullied us pay the corresponding price.”

Xiaofeng nodded, ”Xiaofeng will also grow up fast.”

Yang Ruxin immediately smiled, ”Xiaofeng has already been doing very well. Growing up takes time, no need to rush.” For these adorable little ones, she needed to keep up the fight.

Upon receiving his big sister’s praise, Xiaofeng instantly smiled happily, and then let go of Yang Ruxin’s hand, starting to hop and skip ahead.

”Oh no, I’m hungry...” They hadn’t walked far from the village when suddenly an old man came rushing out from the side.

Xiaofeng was startled and quickly turned and ran back to Yang Ruxin’s side.

Yang Ruxin frowned and pulled Xiaofeng behind her, ”What do you want?” She remained on full alert in the face of the stranger.

”I’m hungry, and I’m thirsty...” The old man looked at Yang Ruxin with a hint of grievance in his eyes.

Yang Ruxin sized up the man. His hair and beard were both white, indicating he wasn’t young. His clothes looked very ordinary and even a bit dirty.

The old man let Yang Ruxin size him up.

”My house is just up ahead. If you don’t mind, old sir, come over for some water and something to eat,” Yang Ruxin ultimately nodded in agreement.

”Then thank you, girl,” the old man brightened up at her response and said, ”Let’s go,” proceeding directly toward the Yang Family’s courtyard.

Yang Ruxin frowned; why did this man seem so... strange? She quickly pulled Xiaofeng and followed after him, ”Old sir, what is your name? Where are you from? Where are you heading?”

”I’m hungry.” The old man turned and glanced back at Yang Ruxin, covering his stomach directly.

Yang Ruxin was at a loss for words.

”Big Sister Ruxin, Xiaofeng, you’re back,” Sanni, who had been keeping watch at the doorway, spotted them and rushed over, ”Have you finished delivering the gifts? Did they give you a hard time at the old house?”

Before Yang Ruxin could speak, the old man spoke up again, ”I’m hungry...” his voice raised a whole octave.

”Let’s talk about it later, let’s go,” Yang Ruxin sighed, somewhat helplessly, and then led the old man into the courtyard.

”Who is he?” Erni and the others stared at the old man somewhat stunned, even Xiaobai assumed a stance ready to attack.
