After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1635: Chapter 451: Never Saw That Coming

One day after the gathering.

August 23.

After training, Ramos, Kaka, and Inzaghi all went to Huang Kaiwen’s house to watch the UEFA Champions League draw.

Huang Kaiwen also invited Rakitic, who is currently single, and Kroos, whose girlfriend isn’t in Milan, to come over and hang out.

Kroos’s girlfriend isn’t particularly pretty either.

Unlike Robben’s childhood sweetheart classmate.

His girlfriend is his tutor.

At that time, Kroos was lagging in his studies due to soccer, and a friend introduced him to Jessica, who was good at studying. As they studied together, they ended up in a sister-brother romance.

Kuan might also enjoy watching movies like ”Teacher, you don’t want your other students to know, right?”

They’ve been dating for almost two years now, and their relationship is stable.

”Anything you want to eat? I will have the restaurant deliver it.”

Huang Kaiwen asked.

The draw starts at seven in Nyon, which is seven in Milan.

Just in time for dinner.

”I want to eat Chinese food and also want to eat French cuisine.”

Said Inzaghi, sitting cross-legged and looking troubled.

”Don’t mind him, Kevin!”

Kaka said.

There’s no way to order from two restaurants.

”Besides, the Chinese food he wants isn’t authentic!” Ramos added.

”Toni, Ivan, what do you guys want to eat?”

Huang Kaiwen asked in German.

”I’m okay with anything.”

Rakitic said, scratching the back of his head.

”I’m fine too, but we need to order ice cream.”

Kroos said.

He really likes eating ice cream.

Most players aren’t as self-restrained. After all, they earn a lot of money, and as long as they don’t indulge frequently, eating something they like once in a while is no problem.

At this stage, Messi really likes cola.

Ronaldo gave up cola at Manchester United, but during family gatherings or transfer periods, he would eat barbecue and similar foods.

Among so many players who like to eat, only Suarez has the healthiest diet. Coconut can mitigate electrolyte imbalance, is rich in various vitamins and minerals, and can relieve muscle soreness.

After ordering, Huang Kaiwen couldn’t find the telephone number for a street ice cream shop.

So he handed it over to the old butler to handle.

”Will we draw Chelsea?”

Kroos asked.

”Of course not, Chelsea is also a first-tier team.”

Ramos casually replied.

”I hope it’s Real Madrid; in the past five years, besides the two UEFA Champions Leagues Kevin won, they haven’t achieved much. Last year, they didn’t even get out of the group stage in the Europa League, and this time they’re second-tier, right.”

Kaka said.

”Yes, I saw it.”

Huang Kaiwen nodded and said.

He also feels the chances of meeting Real Madrid are high.

The past grievances and tensions between him and Real Madrid.

The renewed showdown between Mourinho and Guardiola.

No doubt, there are too many things to watch for; UEFA probably won’t miss such a big spotlight.

The draw had already started before dinner arrived.

Milan was drawn into Group G.

Next came the main part.

Moscow and Ukrainian teams, due to weather reasons, are opponents that all European giants want to avoid.

They often occupy the second-tier spot, causing other teams a headache.

Teams like Valencia and Rome are quite formidable.

It’s difficult to find a manageable second-tier team whose away weather isn’t extreme, except for Greece’s Panathinaikos, which fits this condition.

Group A saw Inter Milan draw Werder Bremen.

Group B saw Lyon draw Schalke 04.

Manchester United drew a formidable Valencia, although they sold David Silva and Villa, yet they still have substantial strength.

When the Group D draw results appeared, everyone let out boos.

Barcelona drew the weakest Panathinaikos.

”It seems their draw luck has always been good; in these past years, I’ve won four championships, but the group stage has never been easy.”

Ramos complained.

Inzaghi rolled his eyes and said, ”I agree.”

He has won one less UEFA Champions League title than Ramos.

Before Huang Kaiwen joined Milan, Milan’s most recent championship was in the 2002/03 season.

The opponent in that final was Inzaghi’s old club, Juventus, and both sides fought to a standstill over 120 minutes at Trafford before Milan beat Juventus on penalties.

The draw continued.

Bayern drew Rome, Chelsea drew Marseille.

In the second-tier teams, only Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Madrid remained.

Everyone was glued to the TV.

Influenced by the atmosphere, Huang Kaiwen also became tense.

As the guest unveiled the folded paper from a small ball, it was clearly printed with ”Real Madrid CF.”

The room erupted in cheers.

Compared to the still decent strength but extreme weather conditions of Shakhtar, Milan players wanted to draw Real Madrid.

”If they lose two matches and?”

Ramos asked excitedly.

His dissatisfaction with Real Madrid has been longstanding.

”It would be hard.”

Kaka said.

Next drawn in Group G was Ajax.

By this time, Ajax had completely turned into an armory for Europe; since Sneijder’s departure, Ajax’s ability to nurture talent couldn’t keep up.

There are only so many people in the golden generation of the Netherlands.

Even if they can scout small teams, there’s no way to conjure players out of thin air.

Previously, Ajax had talents like Ibrahimovic and Van der Vaart, but now Ajax’s biggest names are Frenkie de Jong and Van der Wiel, and currently at Ajax is Alderweireld, who later went to Tottenham.

This also demonstrates Ajax scouting system works well; unfortunately, young players in Holland now lack potential.

It’s not easy to scout young players from other countries.
